  1. I like this one a lot. Another great scent when you need a boost. Happy, cheery, fruity, yellow sunny. After a little bit it starts taking on a cologne type scent, which works. Fun and uplifting fragrance

edited to add: This one stalked me and made it to my top ten. I can't get enough of it. Pefect pick me up, happy fragrance.

  2. Still on the fence with this one. It smells nice but there is an underlying scent I don't care for and I can't put my finger on it. At first I thought this *had* to have honey in it (because that is usually what blows a scent for me) but after reviewing the ingredients I am stumped. It smells "off", kind of that sweaty smell that honey gives me. But there is so much floral going in it somewhat masks it.

  3. This one is so lovely. Soft, subtle, clean, somewhat aquatic. Very calming and peaceful. Love it. My only complaint is that it is VERY subtle, to the point that you have to slather to get any scent, otherwise it's too soft. But once you get the throw OK, it's fantastic.

  4. This one practically leapt into my favorite bag :P It smells quite aquatic in the imp...once applied it takes on a fruity, almost gum-like, smell. Fantastic! There is just enough floral to where it isn't too much fruit. Perfect combination and fragrance

  5. When I read the ingredients I was shocked I liked this one as much as I did. Honey usually turns into sweat-smell on my skin and patchouli is usually disastrous...but for some reason in this combination it worked so nicely!

This smells very warm, rich, sensual. Quite lovely and heavy

  6. With a name and description like this how can you go wrong :P

This is another amazing scent. I want to eat my arm...even more so than the MB-underpants! I smell like candy! And chocolate chip cookies. And autumn. And Halloween night. All wrapped up into one lovely package. Gorgeous~

  7. Haha, I liked Bengal until I read the description. According to that I should be sneezing in great succession and wrinkling my nose. Which is why I like to form an opinion before reading other reviews or the description. And the beauty of imps...lets you try things you wouldn't normally be drawn to.

Bengal is my final BPAL imp...the rest I have left to test are decants. It smells somewhat watery to me...I do smell the spices but they aren't overpowering to where you want to wash it off immediately. Overall I find bengal to be a quite interesting and complex scent. I'll keep the imp :P

  8. Hail unto Thee who art Tum in Thy setting, even unto Thee who art Tum in Thy joy, who travellest over the Heavens in Thy bark at the Down-going of the Sun.
Tahuti standeth in His splendour at the prow, and Ra-Hoor abideth at the helm.
Hail unto Thee from the Abodes of Day!

In the imp...tum is bubble gum. It's almost drinkable. Once applied it gets a sharp metallic scent which doesn't work for me. Still smell gum...maybe gum on a metal pole. Don't care for Tum :P

  9. The legendary site of the Viking colony in Newfoundland founded circa 985. Crisp northern wind blowing over loganberry, wild roses, prairie crocus, iris versicolor Linné, mountain avens, yellow birch bark, mayflower and maple leaf

I tried this one a few days ago but couldn't make up my mind about it so it went back in the "to try" baggie....which is what I'm doing again, tonight.

It smells very green to me...like a grassy field. A hint of roses and sunshine. It's a warm, happy smell. That softens as it dries. Keeping the imp but probably not upgrading. Still a lovely scent~

    edited to add description~

  10. A very interesting scent. I smell lilies. I don't know what cobra lilies are, and I'll assume they are orange, being the oil is quite orange. But this scent smells white to me. It has a subdued, hidden, cala lily scent to it. Quite lovely and quaint.

  11. One of the few moons I didn't care much for. It had a very herbal, sharp smell to it. Perhaps it's the pine. I was waiting for the amber (usually my friend) to come help me out but it never showed. I was expecting more lotus, or perhaps that's just my body's reaction to lotus. I'll still keep the imp, but probably wont wear it much.

  12. I wanted to like malice, but malice decided it didn't like me. I opened the imp and the top broke off. I had an extra empty imp vial and had to pour it in there. Then I couldn't get the *new* lid on. It was a 20 minute exercise in patience. Anyhow, it's a decent scent, kind of heavy and spicy, not entirely my thing, but because of the point the imp made with me, I think Malice needs a new home :P

  13. I had a feeling that, by the name alone (description aside) this one would smell aquatic. I wasn't wrong (I know, I'm brilliant :P

I really like this one a lot. I tend to go for the cleaner, light smells, and this is certainly one of those. It has a faint edge to it so it isn't predictable. Made my "favorites" bag :D

  14. This sort of smells like men's cologne on me. I do smell the rose, but it's not the rose that works completely well with my skin. But I like this one enough to keep the imp...I just wont be upgrading.

  15. Another one I'm reviewing from a sniffie alone. I managed to get a few drops on my finger, that's all. And let me say...I WISH I HAD MORE.

It certainly lives up to its name. Its complete flowers. Like walking into a florist. I smell carnations, roses, gardenia, sunny golden flowers...you name it. It's gorgeous.

  16. Holy cow. Well, first of all, with those ingredients HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG.

I have come to realize I am an amber girl. Amber is my friend. And Jacobs Ladder is like warm glowing amber and happiness in a bottle. This is AMAZING. Definitely in my top 10, if not top 5. This scent hugs you...I don't know how else to describe it.
