  1. What can I say. This is just beautiful. Apricot & clove two scents that just go together. Spiceyness at it's best. It smells like I have just baked a fruit cobbler starring apricots.

My skin loved this blend and tended to amp it up quite nicely. I love how it lasts on my skin. So this is definitely a keeper and has been placed on my big bottle buy list for the fall!

  2. Maiden why have I ignored you for so long. Such a beautiful spicy floral scent. While it's spicy, and heavy on the carnation the light tea note and subtle rose help the carnation to die a slow death on my skin and leaves a gentle floral blend behind.

This was such a hit, that I had to buy a big bottle. The reason why I finally gave it a chance was that many say it goes well with potion. After testing, I have to say it is similiar and I look forward to layering the the two of them together.

I just wish it would last longer. My skin drinks Maiden up quite fast.

  3. In the Imp: Absolutely beautiful, apricot and champagne with a touch of musk. I new right away that was going to be one that my skin's chemistry was going to love. It smells light, fresh and a perfect scent to begin spring.

After initial application: Apricot, apricot, apricot. I adore fruity scents and Katharina is fruity. I think I detect a little orange in here.

After a half an hour: The apricot has really faded and the orange and white musk have developed really nicely together, transforming into a beautiful, light perfume.

After an hour: I am really bummed as the Katharina has completely dissappeared. The scent has become so light. I guess I'll just have to reapply often! :P

I definitely see a bottle of this in my future.

  4. Wow, I thoroughly expected to really like this scent, but I didn't anticipate falling in love with Wolf Moon.

In the bottle: Walking through a forest after rain. I can't quite pinpoint how many different woody scents I get, but pine & cedar seem to be the dominant ones. So far so good.

Right after application: Holy pine! Wow, I haven't smelt pine like this in a long time. A berry scent is trying to break through, but right now it's all pine.

Half an hour later: The pine (thank goodness) has settled down and juniper berry is really fragrant. The combination is absolutely lovely.

An Hour later: The pine and juniper berry have really calmed down, and the tonka and blue cedar have come to play. I love how this keeps changing for me.

Wolf Moon really reminds me of Snow Bunny, so much in fact, that I am thrilled to have purchased a bottle of it, as my Snow Bunny is getting low!

    I :P Wolf Moon!

    ADDED 8/25/08:

First Sniff: Cold air, pine, cedar, and juniper berry.

On skin: Cool, icy and beautiful pine and cedar touched with a hint of berry, amber and sandalwood. This is intoxicating, cool, and very soothing.

Dry Down: This is simply a cool, snowy pine. It feels like a yule, snow, berry, a touch of spice.

It is musky and sweet without being overbearing.

Final thoughts: Wolf Moon is exactly what I was hoping for. Great throw, long lasting and the feeling of zipping down the skihill at warp speed.

  5. One of the first imps of BPAL I have tried, and wow, simply wow.

Pumpkin, spicy, buttery, sweet, foody, absolutely yummy. I need this in a bigger bottle. Perfect for this time of year. I just know this is going to be a favorite. :P

  6. Temple of Dreams is beautiful.

First impression: sharp, herbally, extremely lavender. Once it is on me, it softens up and becomes somewhat floral, but still very herbal, I wish it would last longer. I find that after I wake up, it is still lingering, but barely.

I need to buy more. This is definitely a keeper. :P
