  1. The Snow Storm truly captures the feeling and scent of what it is like to be caught in the middle of a snow storm in the woods. This is a very Schmoozy-esque scent. It's woodsy, and earthy, icy and minty. Millions upon millions of snowflakes whirling around you at rapid speed and as they land on the trees, the needles and dead leaves are damp and emit this scent. Stunning. :wub2:

  2. :wub2: Love, love L'Inverno bath oil. To me it's a blend of cold winter florals, mint, musk and fir. It's woodsy, snowy, slightly sweet and very aquatic. At times I can catch whiffs of grapefruit and it helps temper the sweetness as it gives off blasts of tarty coolness. The mint helps project the feelings of cold. It's perfect in the winter, but even better in the dead of heat summer. As with all Trading Post bath oils, this one glides on beautifully, is not sticky or greasy and the scent lasts forever.

  3. I can't put into words how many times I have skin tested & sniffed this in high hopes that it would work. I adore Snake Oil, but Sugar Skull on the other hand is not cup of tea. It has the burnt brown sugar note of doom and no matter how hard I try, it smells aweful on my skin. Unfortunately Anaconda is all about the burnt brown sugar. When I first apply, it is all snake oil with a hint of sugar and something spicy. I still can't to this day pinpoint the spice, but it's a sweet spice. AS it dries down, the snake oil all but disappears and the sugar combined with the spice translates instantly into brown sugar and caramel.

    *sigh*

    Maybe one of these days.

  4. Light, gentle florals blended with sandalwood and amber. It's slightly creamy, a little spicy, and very pretty. It sticks close to the skin. During the day I can catch whiffs of dry sandalwood, and it helps temper the sweetness that is ver prevalent. All in all this is a creamy floral sweetened by vanilla orchid, and softened with sandalwood and amber. It is stunning. :wub2:

  5. Huh. Now this is another that I expected to dislike and here I am huffing my arm with a big fat smile on my face. It's fizzy with whispers of a floral perfume and in the background are wafts of smoke. It's definitely interesting and kinda unique. Nowhere near bottle purchase, but i'll hold onto my decant.

  6. I too thought this would be an instant winner, but unfortunately something in this makes it quite unbearable. It's really smoky, spicy and then a blast of generic plum and berries hits my nose and it all goes south from there.

  7. OMG a scent with vetiver that I can wear. :wub2: This is truly a white scent. White florals, tea and amber combine to produce this almost aquatic, airy and transparent scent. Sandalwood and vetiver help to keep the sweetness and perfumey scent to a wearable degree. I feel if they were not present this might be too much for my senses. However, this is stunning and I almost wrote it off due to the vetiver, eventhough there are multiple notes of win.

  8. I have to agree with others. This is quite masculine. That being said, it smells like Mr. Schmoozy in the summer. Whiffs of well worn leather mingling with mint and eucalyptus. It's like leather with a muscle rub. And since this is how he smells all the time this imp will definitely be worth keeping. I can see myself huffing this like mad whenever we're apart.

  9. Rosehip, plum blossom, white sandalwood, jonquil, and amber-laden incense.

Incense, plum blossom, amber and sandalwood. It seems very floral, but at the same time very dark, sexy and woodsy. I love how it starts off sweet, slightly soapy, powdry and then the sandalwood and incense shine through. This helps too soften the sweetness, add richness and depth. The rosehip manages to hover in the background, and never threaten to overpower the blend as a whole.

  10. Lavender, chamomile and cooling mint. The lavender in Somnus is softer and sweeter than any other Somnium blends. This is the blend that I associate with TKO. The other blends seem more astringent, herbal, and medicinal. With that being said, I love lavender. In any shape or form, and whatever it is blended with seems to only enhance it. I adore the Somnium category. :wub2:

  11. Lavender and sandalwood with spicy bergamot in the background. The lavender is extremely herbal, white sandalwood is dry, dusty and very woodsy and the bergamot is slightly spicy and citrussy. My only complaint is the jasmine. Although it is very subtle, it still hovers around making it's presence known. However this is pungent lavender through and through. I adore it's medicinal properties, and despite teh jasmine, is one of my favorite sleep blends.

  12. Lavender and lemon balm. It's astringent, refreshing, calming and cooling. It has the amazing ability to instantly relieve tension so it has become one of my favorite bedtime blends. Especially in the summertime when it is hot and muggy.

  13. La Primavera was such a surprise hit with me. Florals can be hit or miss on my skin, and I can only usually wear one or two at time. This minty sweet bath oil was a floral explosion, but in a wonderful way. I can definitely make out the white gardenia, rose, tuberose and mint. After is has had a chance to settle down, the florals start to linger in the background and the lemon peel, sweet orange and grapefruit make an appearance. Sandalwood serves only to ground the blend and bring in a touch of woods to balance the rest. As a bath oil, this is one heck of scent. It is very strongly scented and lasts forever. Like Suu, I don't need any other perfume on top this, it sinks in fast and leaves the skin ridiculously soft. :wub2:

  14. This is perhaps the most beautiful blend ever. Rich, thick golden honey and amber combine with peach and vanilla. Cardamom and carnation add a spicy floral element that elevates the amber and honey to unbelievably golden proportions. It's the perfect scent for the hot days of late summer, and whenever I use L'Estate bath oil I feel ridiculously sexy. :wub2:

  15. At first it's all vetiver with coconut and apricot lingering in the background. Once it has had a chance to fully drydown, the vetiver really powers down and seems to just a touch of smoke and earth. I am slightly surprised that I quite enjoy it, considering I am not really a vetiver fan. Lemon sugar and red currants add sweetness and a hint of tartness.
