  1. This is one of those ones i'm not sure about. It's kinda light, but it smells good, kinda like a plumy riceefield smell, but i'm not sure if it's worth it to have a lot of it. And then i'm not sure if aging will be good to it or not. ACK! Why must it be difficult!

I think i'll probably end up just getting an imp of this, cause it's nice enough to keep aroung.

  2. I love how this smells in the decant, it's very christmas perfect, but on me.......it's instant fade. I will keep it though, as my christmas sniffie, and when I need to feel like it should be cold outside. ^_^

  3. This was kinda a surprise for me, because I really like how this turns on my skin. It's kinda a grapefruity bamboo citrus swanky scent, which was nice because the grapefruit in Cheshire cat didn't like me, which made me sad. This is my happy blend out of the Chinese new years scents because usually the components don't work very well on me. On this, it does. Hallelujah Cheshire moon!

  4. Aeaea is a funky fresh grape scent. It's not OH MY GRAPE SCENT OF HAPPINESS!!! rather a ......... huh I smell like grapes kinda deal. I think Blood Phoenix was a more interesting grape, cause grape on it's own is just a weird component, it needs other things to make it be perfect. It's main downfall is it doesn't last long enough to make it worth it.

  5. Persephone76 picked this up for me from the DD trunk show, and I was a little apprehensive about it when I sniffed it. It smelled like strawberries and alcohol. Not boozy, not winey, I mean alcohol. And on me....not much better. It kinda did a wierd strawberry alcohol tango that in the drydown really faded. I had a bit of strawberry, but then nothing else. Not a keeper, sadly.

  6. I think a few other ladies who reviewed this had the same problems I did. Every note in this is pure win, perfect notes, and on the skin, it turns into a faint nothing. I get a little sugary skin musk, but it's really light, and that's it. I think I might pick up a decant of this just to see how it ages.......but right now it's made of fail.

  7. It smelled minty in the bottle, so I gave it a try.

Wet I get snow, just snow.

Dry I get a little of the mint, but the snow overpowers it. I wanted there to be more mint. Oh well, it's going in teh swap pile.

  8. I got an imp of 07's version, and tried it on, and it's reminding me of Gluhwine. Very sharp harvest wine scent. It's not as strong as Gluhwine was, and it's a little soapy, but not in a horrible way. It dries down to something I can't quite place, it's like a harvest snack that you can smell thats on your skin even after you've washed your hands. Not bad at all. ^_^

  9. I discovered Snow White worked on me, so I gave this one a try. It was kinda nice wet, but once it dried it was really light, almost gone but with a little bit of the snow and fruits left to not be a total fade. Ice Queen is sadly not my ruling lady.

  10. This was an unhappy finding. I tried this on at the lab and it was nice, so I got an imp of it.......and it's nothing like what I tried in the lab. Instead of getting all the lovely vanilla and honey and all those others........ I think the neroli and gardenia take center stage and make everyone else smell....bad. I may give it one more shot, but this one just did not pan out for me.

  11. I love this pumpkin, it's my favorite out of all of them.........

Jasmine and I usually don't get along but it's really nice and pleasant, it's more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff that works on my skin. It's pumpkin sitting at a tea table with finely dressed ladies, and it's very classy.

  12. After these things, surveying the entrances of the north, above the mountains, I perceived seven mountains replete with pure nard, odoriferous trees, cinnamon and papyrus.

From there I passed on above the summits of those mountains to some distance eastwards, and went over the Erythraean sea. And when I was advanced far beyond it, I passed along above the angel Zateel, and arrived at the garden of righteousness.

In this garden I beheld, among other trees, some which were numerous and large, and which flourished there.

Their fragrance was agreeable and powerful, and their appearance both varied and elegant. The tree of knowledge also was there, of which if any one eats, he becomes endowed with great wisdom.

It was like a species of the tamarind tree, bearing fruit which resembled grapes extremely fine; and its fragrance extended to a considerable distance.

I exclaimed, How beautiful is this tree, and how delightful is its appearance!

Then holy Raphael, an angel who was with me, answered and said, This is the tree of knowledge, of which your ancient father and your aged mother ate, who were before you; and who, obtaining knowledge, their eyes being opened, and knowing themselves to be naked, were expelled from the garden.

Whiffs of cinnamon bark, almond, and spikenard surround a perfect fruit, whose scent is akin to a tamarind, with the grace of a fine grape, as warm and rich as a fresh fig, glistening red like pomegranate seeds, and as crisp as an apple.

I tried this on at the lab, and I was feeling uncertain about it working cause it's that time of the month, but I sometimes have luck with scents that still work on me, so I gave it a shot.

It smelled great in the bottle, so I tried it on. Fruity yum! I kept smelling it, afraid it would disappear. At a certain point I was afraid it had disappeared, so I was asking the ladies at will call to smell me.

Cake was the response I got from two girls, and I was like....... CAKE? I was smelling myself and I was getting fruits, so I asked two more ladies what they thought, and they both couldn't smell anything. I was feeling flabbergasted, so I asked a few more ladies their response, and I got cake again. I didn't smell the cake, I was smelling fruit, and I still smell fruit three hours later, but I am getting some of the sugary cakey smell....... this stuff is really nice!

There were other girls there who were getting different fruit smells and even one getting woods from it, I recommend giving a try!

  13. In the tester, it smells really.....smokey. Ok, going into unknown territory

Wet - It turns ....... non smokey. I get the potpourri idea. Ok, i'm geting a whiff of something sweet, and a whiff of something soapy at the same time....... this one might not be good...

Dry - Still with the uncertain potpourii idea.......... This one is sitting on my skin chemistry and going.................what do we do!!! I confuse this scent! It doesn't know what to do!!

This one definetly is getting passed on.

  14. Scrappy was feeling lonely being the only reviewer of this scent, so I got sent a tester ^_^

Well, I get the eucalyptus......... eucalyptus soap, that is. :cry2:

Well, someone else is going to get this tester! ............... Probably the next person who reviews this!

  15. A ridiculously nice person sent me a little tester of this.

In the little imp, I definetly smell the orange.

Wet: Definite orange, it's a little powdery though, i'll see how it goes........

Drydown: I'm getting the orange creamsicle, but it's very light. It's also got almost an orange fizzy pop on the top of my skin, it's got just a tiny bit of throw. After about 15 minutes, the orange is fading away to a very nice creamy scent.

Its ending up being very nice, and creamy, it's really pleasant. I could definetly see myself getting an imp of this, probably not a full bottle, but it's nice enough to keep a little of it around.

  16. In the bottle, this smells reminiscent of cough syrup. I think Tikiera is the same girl from the lab who told me it's nasty in the bottle, but it gets better as it dries down... So, i'm giving it a shot.

Wet - I'm still getting cough syrup though, it's not total cough syrup, it's rather medicinal.

Dry - What the? Theres a sweet note...cutting out from the medicinal scent...I still can smell a little of the medicinal, but something very sweet is breaking through it. It's reminiscent of vanilla, but it's not... maybe tonka or another sweet note? The medicinal note is still in the background..... but it's not horrible. It's blending together into something rather interesting......

After two hours - The sweet medicinal scent is still there, it's fading just a little, though the medicinal scent is morphing a little into something that defintely smells a bit more woodsy. I can kinda get where the leaning up against a tree scent comes in. It's nice, but not something I need a whole bottle of.

  17. The lovely Persephone76 decanted an imp of this for me, it's........ not what I expected. Someone reffered to it as foody and smelling like sticky buns, so i'm like yes! this will be wonderful.

In the imp, it smells really foody and wonderful, and on me, it turns spicy. And as i'm sniffing my arm, i'm like..... this is familiar, not medicinal, it's spicy, why do I know this scent? So, I go to my mother, who usually does not care for my perfume, and I ask her to smell me, and she says, curry powder. I then go through the spice rack, eventually ending up with curry powder, and yes, it's curry powder, though not as strong as curry powder is in the jar. It's got a foodyness underneath, and I keep sniffing my arm going, how do I smell like this??? Cinnamon is the only one of the spices that ever works on me, all the others turn to bleah. How am I getting CURRY? ESPECIALLY from this scent, I see St. Lucia and I think of the Italian song Santa Lucia, which I learned in choir and got to hear while I was in Rome multiple times. How does curry = Italian!!!!!!!

Ok, it's drying down a bit, I think i'm detecting a bit of cinnamon allong with the curry, and i'm getting a slight wiff of that smell you get when you are approaching a Cinnabon, so i'm totally getting where the sticky buns concept came from.

This stuff is awesome. I really don't know why it never made it, though if it's a scent for an Italian saint, and it's got curry in it, I can see if conceptually, it might have been weird. They should have re-labeled it into something else, cause I think this would have been a big hit, like how when Jelly Belly had to make a vomit flavored jelly bean for the Bertie Botts every flavor beans, they put in their failed recipe for pepperoni pizza(true story)

  18. Leather, cognac, fig, ripe berry, and cream, stuffed into a plain brown paper bag.

I read these notes and thought to myself, well, i'm a foody, I'll probably get the berries and cream as the dominant notes, and get fig and cognac and leather underneath. I put it on at the lab, and then drove home, and sniffed my arm an hour later. And I get leather, from this, very sexy dirty leather. The cognac and fig are underneath it, and it's really really nice. This is a seducers scent, and wow it is delectable. It's one of those dig your nose into your arm and can't drag it away scents.

  19. White chocolate and strawberry.

Tried this at will call, and it's really pretty. Wet and after drying, it smells literally like white chocolate and strawberries, and it's decently balanced between the two, neither was overpowering the other. It was like a sugar rush on my hand, and I had just eaten some delectable strawberries covered in a nice thin coat of white chocolate, enough to taste, but not overpower.

I would recommend this scent for a night alone with a nice bottle of wine, sit up in a nice chair, and sink in the richness.

Or, rather, for you men out there, for your lady. Trust me, this will be far cheaper than getting actually white chocolate covered strawberries. Dab some on her, and let the night go from there. ^_~

Also, it lasts! It's been on for 4 hours, and while it's faded a bit, I can definetly still tell it's there.
