  1. Whip is a very interesting blend. Usually, if there are two scents, one will overpower the other and leave no trace. But, I smell my wrist on the left side, and I smell rose. I move over to my right side, and I smell leather. It's a scent that manages to co-exist.

    :P

  2. Verdandi is a very nice scent. In the bottle, it's very Apple with a hint of herbs. On me, it starts out very apple, and slowly, over a few hours, the apple fades away and i'm left with a very nice herb blend with a apple undertone.

  3. I WANT TO HAVE MYSELF FOR DESSERT!!!

Creepy is so yummy smelling, it's apples smothered in caramel and butterscotch goodness. No coconut rum in here that I can smell, but, this scent doesn't need it.

And again, I find myself wanting to eat myself.

  4. Oh, Thalia is so nice!!!! The pear and the plumeria actually blend together, and the white champagne acts as a lovely undertone. It's such a pleasant scent!!!

    ADDED 7/24/08:

You know, I just put on Thalia yesterday, and my little imp is aged two years........

    Thalia aged is wonderful. :P

  5. In the bottle, shango smells really yummy.

On me, it settles into this interesting sugary fruit cabanza.

As it is stated in the disclaimers to Drink Me and Eat Me, BPAL is not for eating. But I wish it was!!

  6. ... A vivacious, dazzling, merry scent: honey, ylang ylang, apricot, ciste, blood orange and gardenia with earthy, warm tonka.

In the bottle, very nice flowery smell with a hint of fruit.

On me, it will not settle down. It remained in this complex twisty bubble an inch above my skin as the ingredients fought to determine which one would take it's proper place as the dominant note. Sadly, no one won.

  7. Ah, Jack. *hugs her little imp*

Jack is such a lovely harvest scent. On me, the peach becomes the most dominant note, though the harvesty goodness that the nutmeg and the clove bring on is still present.

  8. This scent took me a while to try, though I know know why over 90% of the women in this forum swear by it.

On me, it went very nice vanilla with a bit of spice in the oils, and it's a very likeable scent to me. When I asked one of my friends to smell me last night, he smelled my hand, then continued smelling half-way down my arm, and declared he wished to have sex with me that very instant.

Therefore, Snake Oil has been deemed by me as sex in a bottle.

  9. I've been sniffing myself all day, I love this scent!!! It goes very golden peach on me, and i've been wearing it for 8 hours, the peach has faded a bit but I still have the golden wine smell to it, I want to drink myself!

  10. Chimera is a very interesting scent. It starts out very cinnamon smelling, and then slowly, over the space of a few hours, the cinnamon slowly fades and the honeysuckle starts coming in. I've had this on for 5 hours and the honeysuckle now is the dominant note, with the cinnamon just faintly still showing on my skin.

Thank you BPAL! I finally have something of yours that is cinnamon that I can actually wear!

  11. In the bottle, it smells very interesting and woodsey.

On me, first, it smells of leather and trees.

Then, the cinnamon comes in very strong.

Then, slowly, the cinnamon fades into the backround as the leather comes back in, with the cinnamon still definetly there, and a few very pleasant notes playing in the backround. The spiced wine is definetly the most dominant note in this for me.

  12. Upon opening the cap, it smells really good.

Putting it on myself, right after, my nose itched, so I rubbed my nose. Withing 60 seconds of rubbing my nose, it felt like it was on fire. Rubbing water over my nose helped severly, but, they weren't kidding about it being possible conflagerant.

On me, it went cinnamony.... and then died. A very lonely death. Did not leave any welts though on my wrists, which I am happy for.

  13. Can I just say first that this is the ultimate scent if you want a man to try and nibble every inch of your flesh? I smelled so goooooooood, utterly like a delicious cake, and when I asked one of my neighbors to smell me(note, this is a male) he proceeded to try and knaw on my wrists, proclaiming that I smelled unbelievably tasty.

The name fits, doesn't it? :P

Oh, yes, you want to know how it actually smells. Like cake incarnate. This scent demands it's wearers to wear shirts that declare themselves cake.

  14. Got Madrid as a frimp from my first visit to the lab, it's the first frimp i've gotten that I don't plan on swapping. When it first goes on, the red wine is a little distorted, and it goes kinda cherry cough syrup on me, then the wine finds it's center and it settles down into a very nice, luxurient scent on me.

  15. When I first smelled Mag Mell, my brain immediately went- "Wow, this is the lemon smell of my dreams."

On me, the lemon is still strong but I can smell some of the other components, they go together in a very nice mixture on my skin. Definite winner for me.

  16. Hellcat is among many things, a very interesting scent.

The first time I tried it, it was from one of my friends 5 ml of it, and it went all yummy bakery-cookie smelling, in a good way, on me.

Then I got an imp of it. From the imp, I get why they give in the description that it has a wicked bite, it went warm and spicy smelling on me, with a definite bite.

Also, form all the scents i've tried before, I had BPAL products with about a skin life of 4 hours before the scent fades completly. 8 hours after putting on Hellcat, even though it wasn't as strong, I could still smell it on myself.
