ITI: It's a bit perfume-y, but I like the musk, orris root, and amber I'm getting on first sniff. Wet: It's musky and powdery with the orris root, but the musk, and now amber after 5 seconds, is certainly warm and golden. Dry: After a workout, the scent is much softer in terms of amber and musk with just a touch of ambergris. I like this much better once dried.

ITI: Wine, sweet but not super offensive, delicious cider, and a light floral scent. For something that contains wine, this is actually enjoyable. Wet: The wine is much stronger on my skin, which I'm not fond of, but the notes from the cider, amber, and carnation are pleasing. Dry: It was gone before I knew it. After two additional testings, at which point the scent would dissipate completely after an hour, a final testing revealed wine, cider, and amber, but no florals. It's okay, but a pass for me.

ITI: The vetiver here smolders when combined with the dark myrrh. The overall scent is not as sweet as I was anticipating, but it is still interesting. Wet: The myrrh is a little sweeter on my skin, so now the vetiver combines lazily and wonderfully together. I's fantastic! Sweet, resinous, and smoky. Dry: Delightfully deep myrrh with the faintest hint of smoke. I love it!

ITI: Very green and woody with the sweeter aspects of rosemary. Wet: A bit sharper on the skin, and more green wood that has been cut. The rosemary is not as sweet here, but it's still an interesting scent. Dry: After 14 hours, none of the scent remains. It's a bit perfume-y and bitterly green after 45 minutes. It's okay, but I'm not super fond of it.

ITI: It's sweet, somewhat artificial, but mostly floral. It's a bit harder to tease out scents on first sniff with this one. On second sniff, I get an aquatic note, the nightshade berries, hemlock, and light rosary peas. Wet: I get hemlock, nectar, rose, spicy nightshade, and something that reminds me of a light wood. It's less sharp on my skin than in the bottle. Dry: Powdery rich floral. Most of it becomes muddled, but I can still make out the rose and the sweeter aspect of the nectar.

ITI: I get sticky opium, tobacco and a touch of sherry, and expensive men's cologne. It's rather interesting, actually. Wet: On my skin, the cologne is the top note, dancing through the tobacco note, sweet opium, and impressions of faded florals. Dry: Now that it is dry, the opium and tobacco become dominant, followed closely by faded cologne. I like it!

ITI: Yes, there's the red wine, and it certainly is going bad. I also get the scent of older blood as well. Hmm. Wet: There is a dusty, stone-like element that I smell just under the wine, which must be the mortar. It's sweeter and more approachable on my skin. Dry: The wine is now sweet and spicy while hints of earth and a touch of something that reads of vanilla swirl underneath. This is quickly turned into an enjoyable wine scent.

ITI: Powdery musk with something that reminds me of perfumed paper. Wet: I get perfumy incense and spicy musk. Dry: Sweetly resinous, like myrrh with white sandalwood, but also something explicitly like perfume. I'm just not sure what that note is.

ITI: Green and acrid! The moss is pleasant once I get over the bitterly sharp, rotting scent, which must be the ivy and rotting oak. Hmm, I'm not sure if I want to wear this out today. Wet: It's less acrid and acerbic on my skin - more green from the moss and earthiness from the rotting oak. Dry: It's powdery when dried. There is still something that reads as oak and perhaps just a little moss, although it's an impression at best.

ITB: In the bottle, the scent is herbal from the lavender and perhaps a little green. The lavender, however, seems to overpower everything else at this stage. Wet: Lavender, balsam, and something that reads as a light cream to my nose. It's pretty but also a little forlorn. Dry: After 6 hours, I really can't smell the scent anymore. I have to go through several reapplications before I can test the dried scent. After it has dried, I get expensive lavender soap with a touch of balsam. The notes really didn't live up to my expectation when dried, but it's still nice and clean.

ITI: Strong cognac and something that reads as marzipan are the most prevalent notes while in the imp. Wet: More marzipan and cognac, but it does remind me of cobwebs and faded, neglected lace. Dry: I had to reapply as the scent did not last through some super-chlorinated pool time. After reapplication, the dusty mahogany and cognac are present, although there is a note that I can't tease out. It's an interesting scent.

ITI: Strong violet, vetiver, something that reads as civet to my nose, and just a touch of oak. I adore the super musky scents, so this is a go for me even before skin-testing it. Wet: Oh yea, thick and musky with thick swaths of heady violets, rose, and whiffs of smoke. Gorgeous and very much reminiscent of a cloister I visited somewhere in rural France. Dry: Gosh, the musk is wonderful here. I still get heady violet, but everything is okay because of the musky civet. This is a winner!

ITI: Oh, that's Pez-like pear. It's overtly candy-like and a bit too sweet. Wet: Yep, artificial pear-flavored candy with super sweet vanilla. Honestly, this would be great for a tween or teen, but I feel awkward wearing it as a 30-something. Dry: After about 20 minutes, the pear becomes less artificial as it melts into the vanilla. Foody-lovers, this is a great scent for you. For me, not so much.

ITI: I get spicy men's cologne from this - like heavy on the nutmeg with a pinch of smoky vetiver and perhaps a touch of verbena. I realize that none of these notes reflect the scent notes, but it's heavily men's cologne for me. Wet: Still much the same, but I just realized this also smells a great deal like one of Aveda's fire perfume oils. I guess the blood is dragon's blood resin, but it's heavily spiced and I really done't get gore or stone from the notes. Dry: Still exotically spicy with a heavy "fire" tone to it. I would love to smell this on my husband, but it would easily be wearable for a date-night.

ITI: Soft lavender, violet, and sweet rose. It's rather pretty. Wet: I get more violet, sandalwood, lavender, and rose. Oddly enough, calla lily, which usually amps on my skin, isn't present yet. Dry: It's sweetly floral while bring pleasantly powdery. The violet, lavender, sandalwood, and rose are still prevalent after an hour of drying time.

ITI: Strong dragon's blood resin from the blood musk, followed by orchid and a little tobacco honey. It's a bit strongly floral at this point for me. Wet: The tobacco honey becomes more dominant which I like. After that, I get the white fig, amber, and just a hint of orchid. It's much better on my skin. Dry: Fig, amber, dragon's blood musk, and just a little floral. It's pretty, but not my preference right now.

ITI: The honey and bourbon vanilla are most prominent on first sniff, but I so pick up the soft rose otto following closely behind the dominant notes. Wet: The rose otto, vanilla, and white fig steal the show in a gentle and lady-like showing. This is rather pleasant. Dry: It's a bit powdery when dry, but the vanilla and honey, along with a little rose otto, are somewhat discernible.

In the Imp (ITI): Sweetly aromatic vanilla, myrrh, and balsam. I'm not getting the embalming herbs, but the overall scent so far is pleasant. Wet: Sweet and oddly comforting. The storax and the myrrh mix nicely, plus there is a little woody depth in the background. Dry: It's sweet from the storax and slightly complex from the myrrh. It reminds me of Vanilla Fields a little bit.

ITI: It's woody and resinous, like a teak carved wooden box with incense in it. Frankincense, myrrh, and bois de cade. Wet: Still much of the same, although there is more of an earthy tone to the scent now. Dry: Oh yeah, the oudh is strong here when paired with the bois de cade, but I like it. The frankincense and myrrh are still present, but not as strong as before. Sadly, the beeswax doesn't show up on my skin, but I really like the scent as it is.

ITI: Opium tar, blue musk (and it does smell blue), oudh, myrrh, and ho leaf. It's sweet but oddly exotic. Wet: It smells very similar wet as it does in the imp, although the opium is a bit stronger, and I do get a little sand. Dry: Blue musk, opium tar, oudh, and myrrh - it does not have a whole lot of throw after 30 minutes, but it is an interesting scent.

In the Imp (ITI): Strong candied violets are the top note, but the vetiver comes in as a secondary note once I recap the imp. Wet: Very strong vetiver one me. The violet is so faint that I need to concentrate to pick it up. Dry: More smoke and violet. I like it but my husband does not.

In the Imp (ITI): Fresh, juicy, just-cut cucumber. It's wet, green, fresh, and delicious! Wet: On my skin, it's less cucumber and more something slightly floral and aquatic. I still get the cucumber impression, but it's muddled with the other notes that take away from the delicious purity of a freshly sliced cucumber. Dry: Thankfully, the aquatic overtones have mellowed out some, allowing the cucumber to settle back toward the top with the grassy notes.

ITI: Hiba wood has this beautiful, fresh, and aromatic quality when paired with red sandalwood. It transports me and calms me a little. Hmm, I like this already. Wet: Hiba wood is still the dominant note, but now I get cinnamon and a touch of tonka paired with the sandalwood. It's deep, exotic, woody...just gorgeous. Dry: It's such a lovely scent dried as well - wood, cinnamon, sandalwood, sweet tonka, and a touch of smoky vetiver.

ITI: It's just a little aquatic, but warmly so with the white plum, champaca flower, and musk. Wet: Holy Aquatic, Batman! The kelp really amps as soon as it touches my skin, so I have to fight the argue to scrub my skin. However, after just a few seconds, the musk and chapaca flower rush back to the forefront. Dry: Slightly kelp-centered still, but I get the sea buckthorn berry, and white plum. It's better dried, and while a tolerable aquatic, it's not something I plan on keeping. -
ITI: Oh, that's pretty. I can pick out the French vanilla and the white gardenia. Wet: The florals are more prominent on my skin - jasmine, gardenia, French vanilla, and just a hint of verbena. Dry: Rich vanilla, sweet gardenia, and thick jasmine - it's floral but so wonderfully appealing and feminine.
