So far, the OotD scents are not anything like their descriptions on me. This one is very interesting...
I have a strong scent memory that comes up with this one...it smells like a hint of comforting dryer sheets from my past with an overwhelming odor of this guy I was really hot for in High School...it smells like his waterbed.
(I won't say how I know that. )
Very light, pleasant smell.
Anyway, these are for my hubby and they will be totally different on him, but I couldn't resist trying them myself and giving a review.

Snake Charmer rocks. It lasts all day and can be smelt from far away (even without slathering!)
-
imp: light, slightly sweet, and a slight bitter resinousness
wet: odd...a little sweet, a little smoky...with a hint of almost kettle corn.
dry: cough syrup smell and plastic. I'll probably use this one to meditate but not as perfume...or use a scent locket.
-
imp: pale, lemon, a little like a cleaning solution or fabric softener...
wet: LEMON ice, but with a slight "pledge" undertone
dry: meh. Very very faint. Refreshing, but I'm not sure I want to smell like lemon ice.
-
imp: first, I smell effervescent pomegranite, but there is also a sweaty, dirty smell...
wet: the dirty smell is quickly overtaking the fruit...
Dry: eeeewwwww...gets realllllly NASTY later!
-
imp: herbal, but also smells a little like cleaning solution...
wet: cleaning solution!!!
dry: OH DEAR! This is truly awful on me. It smells like rancid dryer sheets soaked in bathroom cleaning spray!
-
imp: curious, but partially sour and repellant (seems to be one note).
wet: curious and green...repellant note fades into the background.
Dry: Lime?!?! That's all I can smell. ODD!
Goes through several more phases: Grapefruit w/ a little floral then finally aquatic
Interesting, but I'll pass.
-
imp: sweet creamyness but with a yucky floral in it.
wet: same
dry: yucky floral TOO NASTY for words. Must wash off!!!
-
A kind forumite sent me a sniffie of this. YAY!
imp: resinous, sweet, and piney
wet: a little smell like pine and cedar coke.
dry: a little too much of the cedar/pine on me. I'll pass. The sniffie will go to another.

The hundred-headed dragon that guards the garden of the Hesperides: dragon’s blood resin, golden apple, apple blossom, white musk and hyacinth.
imp: apple blossom and hyacinth.
wet: strange...same flowers but with an odd undertone.
dry: this goes through several changes, not all completely pleasant, but some
very much so, before it finally lands on hyacinth. Just plain hyacinth. It is a touch like almost wilted hyacinth too. Nah. Though I like the way hyacinth smells, I don't want to smell LIKE hyacinth. -
imp: buttery goodness and autumn leaves
wet: a little more perfume-y, but still buttery and now more warm.
dry: becomes more and more incence-y until that is all I smell. Very nice all said, but I don't know that I WANT to smell LIKE incence. Undecided.

-
imp: dark and foreboding...the oil is even a sickly green-grey.
wet: same. As drying, becomes even a little fruity...strange.
dry: There is a very ODD smell I sniff...It is compelling (about 97%) and very slightly offputting at the same time (about 3%). Warm, musky, and sweet. I like it, but am not sure I would want to wear it because of the slightly soapy bit in the background that smells a little like a conventional cologne...
LATER: OMYGOODNESS! This became GORGEOUS after several hours! I think I will keep this one!! (and see if the hubby will try it...)
Later still: old lady-ish and powdery. The gorgeous stage only lasted about 1 hour.
Did not work on hubby---Immediately went to old lady perfume on him.
-
imp: cherry with an edge...a little like candy, but I am afraid it may become cough syrup.
wet: CHERRY and wood. Cherry candy. ick.
dry: goes a little musky and resinous...we'll see...Nope-- nasty. It's the cherry.
-
imp: bright, warm, and with lush tropical florals.
wet: same. Has a HINT of acridness in backgound, but not unpleasant.
dry: LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY tropical flowers. A hint of soapyness, but still very nice. A possibility.
Later...barely there...
-
imp: fruit!
wet: fruit and candy!
dry: YUCKY! Turns very rancid on me after a while!! ick!
-
imp: hmmmm...beguiling! Light and slightly sweet, but mysterious too.
wet: it's very soft and not unpleasant...but I don't think I'd go out of my way for it.
dry: gets a little faint. Again, I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
-
imp: musky and resinous. Nice!
wet: same---but more musky
dry: goes flat--- a little powdery then nuthin much at all. Dissappointing. Oh well.
-
imp: vanilla and pine
wet: pine amps, but not unpleasant at this point.
dry: not bad. Nice and creamy with a little green edge. Later, becomes nothing but a soft (non-powdery) vanilla.
Verdict: I'll keep it.
-
imp: strange...
wet: sweet, like honey---then immediately an odd aquatic thing that may give me a headache.
dry: all aquatic. On me, it's just like a commercial perfume I tried and hated many years ago. TOOO aquatic! Ble!
-
imp: sharp sandalwood and ylang ylang.
wet: ylang ylang and neroli
dry. Nahhhh. Had to wash it off. STINKY!
-
imp: barely there...faintly sweet
wet: barely there...faintly sweet
dry: powdery and faint. I'll pass on this one.
-
imp: oooooo...complex floral/musk pretty that reminds me a little of Snake Charmer
wet: uh oh...got powdery! And a bit sour! What will it do next?!?!
dry: Powdery powdery powdery. ble ble ble.

I was majorly bummed by this one. It started off nice and warm, with the Dragon's Blood peeking out to make it a little floral-ish and strange...and then after about 1/2 hour, it went straight to AQUATIC on me! It went to aquatic on my hubby in less than 1 minute.
Aquatic is not my favorite thing to wear. I was so sad! WAAAAAAAAAAAH!

This started out warm and spicy on me---promising---but eventually went to a "used big red gum" stage...now it is like a spicy soap. Pleasant, but much nicer on the Hubby.
