    Cockaigne

The Land of Plenty, also called Luilekkerland – the Lazy, Luscious Land: milk and honey, sweet cakes and wine. In the Imp: I think this smells almost exactly like that candle store in the mall (you know which one I mean). Nearly overpoweringly sweet, cakey, buttery and boozy at once. Wet on skin: Pretty much like the vial, except toned down to an acceptable level of scent goodness Dry: I still think this smells like that candle company, but not in a bad way. Once I read the scent details in this blend, I can pick them out, like the honey and sweet cakes. I do like this scent and it's very foody, but I have this stupid brain scent connection where all I can think of is the mall Stupid brain. Otherwise I like this scent. Edited For punctuation

    Fenris Wolf

In the imp: Smells like an earthy mens aftershave - but less after shave, more woody. Wet on skin: Pretty much like the imp - but with a little more warmth coming thru - probably the musk Dry on skin: The sandalwood is definitely making itself known, along with the warmth of musk and amber. Very reminiscent of Penny Dreadful for me, but more woody and less floral. On me, the sandalwood seems to switch between woodsy and earthy dirt - probably why this reminds me of Penny Dreadful (because of the "dirt/earth" scent) Although, I don't foresee myself wearing this, I think this scent would smell lovely on the hubby Update: Wore this scent for a couple more hours and found it has turned all sweet red musk, no more sandalwwd/woodsy scent to be found anywhere I guess my skin just amps red musk.

    Mouse's Long and Sad Tale

Vanilla, two ambers, sweet pea and white sandalwood. In the imp: amber and a floral note Wet on skin: Very much like the bottle, an light floral with a hint of sweetness. Dry down: A light sandalwood and warm amber scent. Again, this is slightly sweet, but definitely not overpowering. I'm not really getting any vanilla or sweet pea, but this may be my skin chemistry. What I'm getting from this scent is the sandalwood and amber. This, at least on me, is a light and pretty scent with a more earthy/floral slant than sweet or foody. .... This remains a light fragrance on my skin, but today I really smell the vanilla and white sandalwood. It's sweet and much more "foody" than last time. Guess this goes to show it's all about body chemistry. I may just need to get a bottle of this! Edited for punctuation and for different wear experience

    Lolita

Bright, sweet and youthful, but swelling with a poisonous sexuality. Glittering heliotrope, honeysuckle, orange blossom and lemon verbena. In the imp: citrus, bright and slightly sweet. There is a background note of bitterness. On skin: Smells very much like in the bottle, slightly sweet citrus with a hint of bitterness thrown in. Dry: This smells just like Lemonheads candy. After the dry-down, I'm left with a sweet citrus floral (most likely the orange blossom coming thru); its very nice!

    Hellcat

A soft, sensual, luxuriant blend with a wicked bite: hazelnut, buttercream, honey mead, rum and sweet almond. In the imp: Smells like almonds and alcohol...I like it! Wet n my skin: Wow, it smells like almond paste - yum! Dry on skin: The almond fades away leaving behind a sweet honey-like spiciness. I can't pinpoint the scent, but it reminds me of cinnamon without being "cinnamon". There are no cinnamon notes listed in this, so maybe what I'm smelling is the combination of the rum and honey mead. I really like this scent, but the throw is very low; it just may be my skin chemistry though. My epidermis does have a tendency to eat some oils If I were to get a bottle, I'd probably use it up quickly as I'd re-apply often.

    Penny Dreadful

Also called Gallows Literature. A dime novel rife with melodrama, horror, madness and cruelty; a ten cent analogy of vice and virtue in conflict. Soft perfume evocative of noir heroines over rich red grave loam. In the imp: Dirt and something metallic Wet on skin: Wow, this smells like dirt, and metal and something else; a slight floral note? Dry on skin: The scent has settled down and is a floral blend, with earth and a light incense. The metallic note has died down and is in the background now. This is a very interesting scent, as it is very complex. There are a multitude of notes swirling around each other creating a unique olfactory experience! That being said, I can't see myself wearing this one, as I do lean more toward the food/floral scents.

    Akuma

In the imp: Blood orange and neroli ... oh my, its beautiful! Wet on skin: This is very sweet. I can still smell the orange, but the neroli is being overwhelmed by a fruit punch smell (must be the raspberry) Dry on skin: Very sweet orangey fruit punch At first I really liked this, but am finding it a little too sickly sweet on my skin Very sad because I do love me some sweet scents, but this one isn't "the one". Maybe I'll try it out again on a different day and see what this does.

    Mata Hari

Got Mata Hari as a frimp from the lab. I wouldn't have picked this one out myself, but I'm glad to have the opportunity to try this. In the imp: Wow, is that coffee and floral? Interesting, reminds me of an old lady perfume - somewhat dusty. Wet on skin: Dusty "old lady floral" (for lack of a better descriptive term) with stale coffee. Eek, I don't think this scent agrees with my chemistry Dry Down: Still has that "old lady floral" smell. I don't know what is causing this, perhaps the rose or the jasmine? Never had Jasmine smell like this on me though, so maybe it's the rose. Later: The coffee has dissipated and the scent I'm left with is a warm rose with a touch of jasmine. Alas, my skin ate the oil and I can't smell much of it (unless I huff my wrist). Ok, this isn't my favorite, but it may just be my skin chemistry. I will try again sometime later and see if my nose evolves.

    Aelopile

Glowing amber and citrus, labdanum, verbena, cedar, and oud. In the imp: light incense with undercurrents of citrus and grass/soil? Maybe its the labdanum creating this earthy note? Or the oud? Wet on skin: The citrus blooms and mixes nicely with the cedar and earthy notes. Dry on skin: The citrus has burned out and I'm left with this warm woody/incense scent. Aelopile seems to lean toward a more masculine scent; I would love to try this on my hubby

    Poisoned Apple

A perfect, lovely, gleaming red apple whose sweetness masks a swirl of narcotic opium, oleander, and hemlock. Imp: Ooh, reminds me of a cider mill with lots of fresh apples. Quite lovely. Theres an undercurrent of tartness, like the tanginess of green apples. Wet on skin: Very much like the imp, tart green apples Dry on skin: After a time, the green apples turn to more of a sweet scent, less tart if you will. The notes then become more apple blossom, floral and incense. I really liked this scent, but it faded away very quickly on my skin. I'd need to reapply within an hour. Other than the fact that my skin ate this scent, I would totally purchase a bottle.

    Blood

In the imp: dragons blood with something else, darker, maybe the cherry? Definitely smell clove in this one. Wet on wrist: Smells very much like dragons blood, slightly floral ... but then it turns darker Wet on chest: Smells much like the imp, a light dragons blood with clove Dry on wrist: CLOVE! Its screaming at me! Dry on chest: Dragon's Blood. Period. Hummm, I have weird body chemistry. My wrists smell like clove and my cleavage (if thats what you call it after 2 kids - haha), smells like dragons blood. Very odd. I wonder what would happen if I put this somewhere on my leg, would I get a different scent entirely? Anyway, this is an interesting scent, too bad I don't get the cherry.

    Snake Oil

By far, our most popular scent! Magnetic, mysterious, and exceedingly sexual in nature. A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla. Fresh from the lab... In the Imp: Oh, is that a head shop in there? Filled with spice and incense, but slightly sweet On the skin: Smells like the same as the imp Dry: The spices are starting to settle down and the scent is becoming more rounded ... is that musk? A little later: Wow, its musk, all day strong all day long. Darn the musk, my skin must love it or something, I can't smell the vanilla Aged a little bit (about 6 months) In the imp: Oh indonesian oils, there you are! On the skin: like the imp again Dry: Wow, its a lightly sweet musk. very warm. Much less "abrasive" than when I first purchased this. Although I do like the warm smell of this oil, I was seriously hoping for more vanilla. Vanilla, I can never have enough... UPDATE A few months later... I had to do an update! Just tried this on last night and was like WOW! I get what all that hype is about! Snake Oil ages so freking well; I'm getting the sugared vanilla now and the entire scent just opens up and is so mellow, with a beautiful sweetened musk (reminds me of Smut). Drool ... I want to nom on my arm. I 'm definitely getting a bottle or two to age now.

    Hollywood Babylon

The essence of innocence shattered: glittering Egyptian amber and heliotrope, infused with the sweetness of strawberry and vanilla - dragged into debauch by lusty red musk and a dribble of black cherry. In the imp: Sweet, smells like a fruit forward version of Snake Oil On skin: Sweet Snake Oil (maybe its the musk scent) Dry: Slightly sweeter version of Snake Oil (again musk?) I don't know whats wrong with my nose, but all I'm getting is a sweet spice/musk scent. I wish I could smell the black cherry, strawberry and vanilla notes. I would totally be eating my arm - haha. Don't get me wrong, its not a bad smell, I was just hoping to find the berries and vanilla within the mix.

    O

O Fresh from the lab ... In the imp: Smelled sweet and musky On my skin: Smelled cloyingly sweet and of ... baby powder? Were did that come from!? On drydown: Very sweet baby powder - it tingles my nose I found this perfume changes drastically within 6 or so months from first sniff. Aged, I find O morphs into a sweet muskiness. I don't get the vanilla or honey notes others have picked up on, but I still really like this. I'll have to get a bottle and age it before I can wear it
