    Lust

Well three of four of these are my notes of doom so it definitely did not work on me. I can see a lot of people on the forums liking this though. Patchouli and red musk seem to be heavy favorites, and both are very prominent in this. 'Sexy dirty hippy' has my friend says. Not my thing at all though.

    Jabberwocky

I don't even get the faintest hint of orange. All pine and eucalyptus on me. I would think of this as a Yule scent actually - I think it fits right in with the theme! It's not really something I can see myself wearing though.

    Yellow Jessamine Honey

I agree that Jasmine is the dominant note, but it's not nearly as overwhelming on me as it seems in other scents. There is some honey but I feel like there's also something else that's just generally mellowing the whole scent but I have no idea what it is.

    Crib Girls

This is rather yummy!! It's definitely lemon and honey but it's lacking the tartness I was worried. It's leaning more towards lemon custard for me actually. I'm enjoying this. Not sure if I'd wear it (maybe in summer but I was Boabahn for that, and this isn't that different), but I'm still enjoying it! Will have to ponder this!

    The Grave-Pig

Hmmm. I don't really get the fig in this - and I love fig! For me this is just very evocative and one of the notes they do so well. It smells like overturned mossy soil.

    Molly Grue

I'm a big fig lover (carnal is amazing), and this does not disappoint! Fig is the main note for me, but the rice flower is also definitely there. I don't get much spice but there is a feel to this one that's a little more grounded and edible. So lovely.

    Beaver Moon 2012

I've never tried any of the Beaver scents before...and I think my subconscious was trying to tell me something. This really does not work on my skin. I don't get any apple, and that makes me really bummed because I love apple (and I just bought a bottle of Lamb's Wool because I love that scent so much) but nope, nothing for me on this one that is remotely apple. And the cheesecake part is coming off as dusty play-doh for me. I really think this is my skin chemistry though so nobody base their decision to try this or not based off me. Just a bit bummed at my skin though!

    Hell's Belle

Such a perfect match to the description. This is a deep sensual floral with a darker side. Very moist southern floral - and I'd say more than a hint of spice although it does fade a bit.

    Pumpkin V

Well, hmph. I thought I was going to be madly in love with this and for a moment I was...the beginning has that realy lovely rich buttercream note that others have mentioned. But three minutes later it's all cinnamon on me? So disappointing. I seriously can't smell anything else right now :/

    Orange Pumpkin Floss

Oh wow, this was not what I was imagining but it is SO GOOD!! I agree that it almost feels like a gingerbread note (and at first I could have sworn is smelled like pumpkin queen), but then there's an added element that comes out like fresh oranges..or maybe orange candy? It's like baked fall goods and candy all in one, which sounds odd, and it is a bit, but still so good. Unexpected win!

    Goldenrod Crab Spider

Om nom nom nom. Yep, that's pretty much what my brain did as soon as I smelled this. I am not always sure what champaca is supposed to smell like, but I can honestly pick out each of the other notes. I think this is such an intriguing scent. There's a really nice warm element to it (coconut, and I assume champaca), but also lots of little zings (ginger, lime). I agree that I feel like I'm on vacation. Almost like the tiki lounge, but less booze and more warmth and smoothness. This would be really great in warmer weather. I struck out with the first half of the Halloweenies but I thin this will be the first this season that I have to upgrade to full bottle! It all blends together into a really nice and smooth scent. Warm and tropical and not over-the-top. Just perfect.

    Black Lotus

Born in the shadows of a Temple to Set, this corrupted Egyptian scent evokes images of black pyramids, river demons, and bleak, deadly desert sands. Black lotus flower, amber, myrrh and sandalwood. At first all I got was myrrh and sandalwood, but my chemistry tends to amp incense. Then comes in what must be the lotus. I don't get bubblegum, but I also am not quite sure how to describe it. It's light, a little airy, and even a bit powderish. Not what I was expecting - definitely intriguing.

    Cathode

Interesting. Mint always fades quickly on me but the first few moments are a really lovely combo of the mints - and even reminded me of my beloved Utrennyaya. But then the scent fades into a mossy aquatic? It is a tad masculine and not a type I usually go for but there's something really soothing about it. I don't see myself wearing this often, but I'm going to keep the imp!

    Black Hellebore Honey

There's a very medicinal element to this - I think it's like honey cough drops. I love honey, but not like this.

    Evening Stock

So this is a bit of a morpher on me, but certainly floral throughout. In the beginning it's a bit more green and at the end it's almost powdery in its softness. It's actually quite pretty, but I don't feel like it's me. The end on me is almost like a baby scent.

    Mariposita

Oddly straight off in wet phase it smelled like 100% lavender. Then it eases and a little bit of the lovely honey comes out. I don't really notice strawberry though. This is totally a surprise to me. It like a beautiful soft spring morning. I wish I had a bottle instead of a tester!

    Mango-Infused Pumpkin Chai Latte

So...I was expecting this to be my big love of the season. But this just does not work on me. I agree with a pp that something in it smells a bit rotten, or like it's just started to turn. I do get mango and pumpkin, but it's dryer than I expected. I don't get much chai but there are definitely some spices in there. I don't know, just didn't work! So sad.

    Punkie Night

At first this was all yummy cider!! More spices than apple, but still delicious. As it's faded though I think the cranberry has come out a little more and the spice has faded a bit...and it really is smelling a bit like potpourri. I'm not sure how I feel about that. It's a good smell, but I'm not sure if *I* want to smell like it. As time goes on it does get a bit "lighter". Not in the sense that it's less strong, but in that it seems to have an airy quality to it. Almost a floral edge but not floral.

    Paladin

Throughout the leather is the main event on me, but I always amp leather. It definitely feels like a softer leather than most of the other leather note scents I've tried (I guess that's why it's white leather?). There is a faint cloud of white musk surrounding it all too. And the frankincense comes out during the dry phase. It's very interesting and I'm glad I got a frimp of it! Alas leather is one of my least favorite notes. I think though for leather lovers this could be a really interesting twist...more of a daytime leather.

    The Black Tower

A sepulchral, desolate scent. Long-dead soldiers, oath-bound; the perfume of their armor, the chill wind that surges through their tower, white bone and blackened steel: white sandalwood, ambergris, wet ozone, galbanum and leather with ebony, teak, burnt grasses, English ivy and a hint of red wine. Leather, and wood, and an occasional hint of moss? A hint of something dusty (but not much), and yes a touch of ivy.

    Hairy Toad Lily

I always have such trouble figuring out how to describe scents in this category! There's a heady floral element but also definitely some green stem elements. Definitely Lily but not too overwhelming.

    Cherokee Rose Single Note

I definitely get a lemon element to this. I suppose maybe it's just a very tangy green note? It's not a lot of rose to my nose. This bottle is going into the sales pile, alas.

    Salma

So interesting! This does not smell at all like I imagines. I get very clean shampoo smell - and somehow it feels like it's mid-lather. I don't get apple or ink or science fair. It's pleasant though, as if I'm literally in the middle of showering.

    The Book

This is mostly a dusty leather note on me. There's definitely an 'old/ancient' element to it. It is very bookish, but I'm not huge on leather notes. It really evokes what it's meant to.

    The Queen of Hearts

So...I get no cherry at all when the scent is on me. There's definitely lillies, but there's also a slightly acrid note. There are moments when it smells like soap, but then that sharp note comes into play. Mostly it's Lily though. Eh.
