eek! Another LOVE!! Today has been my lucky BPAL day...

 

I was scared to sniff this, as I read "sugared fruit" a lot, and I hated Sugar Skull... BUT? This is delicious! I smell sweet fruit... mostly grapefruit. But it isn't "tangy" or sour (like Swank is with the grapefruit). I believe the vanilla really is what tones down that sharpness that would be there otherwise... which is PERFECT. It isn't TOO strong, and doesn't have anything sour... which puts it WAY above Fruit Moon (which was both).

 

HGM is a keeper!

let me start by saying I was DEATHLY AFRAID of ordering this. Money is precious, and if it wasn't the way-o-BPAL to be able to swap/sell things later, there is NO way I would've ordered this. LOL. Well, maybe. Like a scary movie... I LOVE to watch them, but cover my face during scenes where someone is coming up behind someone else, etc.

 

ANYWAY, all that said?

 

Beth TOTALLY must have come to my house as a ghost and watched me test my BPAL this past month, and read my mind. Seriously!! My CT (which is CDXI, for which I have no idea what number that stands for as I suck at Roman numerals) is AMAZINGLY AMAZING! Mine is Rose. With Tea. Rose-y Tea. PURE rose, though... not the green rose like Rose Red. A light rose... like something in 2,5, & 7? This is delicious, and I will probably hoard it all. It will be the first bottle I EVER don't sell/swap decants out of. It is mine. ALL MINE! And "made for me", so I'm obligated anyway, yes? hehe.

 

*edit to add: As I leave this on, it becomes clear that there may be another floral in here... it could be just wishful thinking, but Dandelion!! Very possible it is in there, too... I'm getting that smell! eek. LOVE IT MORE NOW!*

 

did I mention I'm IN LOVE with this?

mmm... Litha arrived in my greedy little hands yesterday afternoon, and it is SO delicious! Sweet sweet sweet... did I mention it was sweet? hehe... On my skin, this is golden honey... bright floral (honeysuckle, my favorite scent ever, i assume!)... but with extra honey to amplify that.

 

This really is a great scent for summer!!!

Fruit Moon seems to love me! YAY!

 

I smell something similar to some fancy fruit juices you can get at the store smell like? The mixed up ones with exotic fruits in them... guava, papaya... It isn't too strong. Just right!

 

there is SOMETHING behind the fruit... something spicy. just a touch of it. Can't quite figure out what it is, though...

Shattered isn't going to get the fairest judgement from me today, as the imp spilled totally all over everything in shipping... so the smell is sort of on everything. But it isn't BAD! just everwhere. hehe.

 

I smell mint... and lotus, I think? lotus really stands out on my skin. I like it! and the hint of mint. Don't smell much else, though?

 

this smell didn't stick around very long on my skin (just on the packing supplies. hehe). I'll give it another go when I get my new one from the Lab (whenever they get to my 4/15 order. sigh)

 

in the vial, this is a lovely citrus mint! on me? OH NO! Pure soapy mess! someone said "Dial Soap" in the first post here, and that is exactly what this became on my skin. How devastating!

ooo... this one is DEFINITELy too "dark" of a scent for a girl like me! I smell something very deep and dark... the musk? neroli? I'm not sure what neroli is... there is the sandalwood in the background, but not very strong. I do not smell any floral in this at all... basically, it is just a dark musk

hmm... not sure what I think of this. It smells of rose, a little warped (the lotus). I LIKE it, but it doesn't seem to "speak to me" much... like it either doesn't like me, or it just isn't anything that stands out enough for me?

 

after about 15 mins... this smells sort of like a gumdrop. weird!

this is a very spicey incense smell... with a bit of citrus? Lemon? orange? it isn't a bad scent, per se, I'm just not an incense lover... Sort of smells like air freshener or cleaning products even (with that spicey citrus).

 

ah well! off to the swap pile!

unfortunately, the notes i sniff out of the vial with this one are all completely gone once it touches my skin. My skin is a jasmine whore, and they are rendezvous-ing once again...

It is lovely otherwise! I like jasmine, but most blends with jasmine smell exactly the same on me

mmm!! Minty! lime-y! Not sure if I smell the apple fully, but this smells like a really good minty gum to me. Sweet and minty. This seems like the perfect thing to put on in the morning if you're feeling too sleepy...

this is a deep floral/sweet fruity scent... after it was on me for about 20 minutes, there is one strong scent standing out... I'm not familiar with the scent of lotus, but maybe that is it?

 

Very strangely, this smells FAMILIAR. I dont' know why! I wish I could place it...

evening star seems very elegant to me... a light bright floral. with a little "shimmer" in it? I guess I can't really explain it any more than that... just that it is beautiful!!!

I had tried 13 a little while ago, and wasn't sure what i thought... but I bought a pack of imps with it included, and tried it again today...

 

I've decided that I REALLY like this! I get a chocolate smell mostly... with something dusty, like the tea maybe? it really smells good on my skin! Maybe I like it more today than last time because I have PMS really bad?

 

LOVE IT!

I'm not sure what vetiver is... but if it smells weirdly like a can of green beans or something, that is about all I get from this scent! It is pretty WEIRD, really, on me. I smell vegetables. Gross ones. Not an ounce of violet or flower at all in this one for me!

at first this smelled DELICIOUS! Like a cookie? but, as it sat on my arm, it is like it was being "cooked"... and now, 20 mins later, it smells like a BURNT cookie. Like I forgot to take them out of the oven. How bizarre.

 

maybe i'll try this in my oil burner once before tossing it to the swaps!

kyoto is totall licorice for me... not much else! Like a black gumdrop...

i could be totally insane, but this smells a bit like how Pepto Bismo tastes! LMAO. but, well, i LIKE it. it smells good. and crisp.

K.T. is my new hero. seriously. This is the FIRST scent with jasmine that didn't go COMPLETELY jasmine! this is an absolutely GORGEOUSLY sweet floral scent. i love this so much!

i smell the ground. LOL. grassy dirt. Now, while I do like this scent... it is a bit much for my allergies, it seems? Making me a bit sniffly... and, honestly, it isn't really "me" anyway...

at first i smell the cherry and clove... but there is something dark and spicy and a bit SOUR.

 

this scent does not like me. at ALL. smells funky

honestly, i thought i wasn't going to like this one! It is a nice surprise, though, to LOVE it! I thought it would be very... foresty or something? Instead, I smell some yummy sage... a little spice. *looking for the basil*

this is, i guess, a masculine scent... but I still adore it!

ok, i do admit... my vampire obsession is why i got this imp. Not for what was in it. If anything, the description lists a million things I'm not usually into at all. LOL.

 

But! Surprisingly? I like this! Of course it is VERY "manly", though... i smell the tobacco and orange, and the black musk. it is sort of sexy!

Ok, for me... Tamora smells incense-y. Is that the amber? not positive... i do like it, but it isn't really "me". I smell the peach & vanilla, but that incense smell is really over powering those 2...
