    Blood Countess

This is sweet, floral, light and very feminine; not usually my favorite qualities in a scent. I know that there's no cherry, cherry blossom or green tea in this, but on drydown it smells almost exactly like the Spring's Mind (green tea scented with cherry blossom) by The Tea Republic.

    Persephone

I'm quite sad with this one, as I'm all about the pomegranate. Persephone's roses eat up all the pomegranate on me; it might as well be a rose SN when I wear it. :/

    Smut

Where O has failed with me, Smut triumphs - this is the scent of bottled sex. In the bottle: A sweet, adult beverage. Maybe a cigar is lit in the back of the bar, and the lights are dim. Wet: Slightly boozy, but the musks gain sweet leverage. Drydown: I can't place my finger on what the final scent is like on me, but it's sweet, warm and dark. Very half-lidded, languid sex. Think of smeared makeup and half-off lingerie on a hot day. Something like that, heh.

    Red Lantern

I really wanted to like this, but it was all caramel on me - that turned to baby powder. That damn baby powder curse!

    Pumpkin Patch III (2005, 2006)

In the bottle: It nearly jumped out and strangled me. There's something very rich and overly sweet and cloying about the scent in the bottle and it was so strong and offensive that I almost didn't try it on. This would be a mistake since I love all things pomegranate, and the GC inclusion of Swank is what persuaded me to give BPAL a chance to begin with. Wet: A much different story. Tart, juicy pomegranate with pumpkin pie spices. Dry: All sorts of pomegranate with a jack-o-lantern glowing in the background. To me, this is a perfect autumn scent. It made me keep smelling my wrists all day and proclaiming how awesome I smelled - it's a keeper.
  6. O turned straight to baby powder on me, so unless sex smells like baby ass... Smut smells like sex (should smell) to me, I almost want to take a bite out of my wrists when I wear it.

    Alice

I really tried to like this one, I thought for sure that with milk and honey that I would adore it. In the bottle it smells very baby powdery and when wet I have to concentrate really hard to sniff past the baby powder to even get a hint of honey. Drying, I can smell mostly carnation with some rose in the background; it's still pretty baby powdery. It's disappearing on me quickly, I applied maybe an hour and a half ago and it's faded into almost nothingness. All in all, it's a very dainty fragrance - I can't say I match that description. It kind of smells like a doily looks; very delicate, feminine and pretty. I can see why it's a favorite, but it's not my cuppa.
