There are many reasons people keep comparing this blend to Inez. They share, from what I can tell, at least three similiar components; vanilla musk, sandalwood, and carnation. Whereas v2 starts out with a cool blast of cherry blossom and the carnation comes in later; V3 is carnation at the start. Cherry blossom does add a bit of lightness to this floral element but it's carnation; pretty similiar to the one in Inez. Definitely amber and some sandalwood, this is golden and shimmery, almost. I do not detect any leather whatsoever though.

Defiintely spiced fruit, some red wine, pine, and a bit of musk, maybe. This is almost like a less sweet, 'lighter on everything' Gluhwein. I LOVE Gluhwein and I don't see a need in my collection for something like this, nice as it is.

This is a smooth, rich red wine with an earthy oak. It is not a wine you drink to get drunk. You drink it because it tastes damn delicious. Full of dark berries that are full of juice, this smells realistic to the core. Yet, it isn't just 'wine' on your skin. Complex and full, it's a very nice blend. The oak is a tad strong for me though, and reminds me exactly why I don't drink red wine. Not for me.

Appley-rose. Very much a rose blend, this is. A bit musky; and the black musk, which doesn't normally work on me, is very good and works to keep the rose in check; making it play nice with the other notes. A bit of a lemon tinge to the musk; a bit powdery because of that as well. It's very nice and a bit sweet.

Very interesting blend; but not one for me.

On, I totally get the cola aspect of the blend. It immediately reminds me of soda. Also, I get what seems to me to be a pastry-ish note that may or may not be cardamom or nutmeg. They both do this doughy kind of thing on me. Thankfully, that doesn't dominant the blend and fades quickly. Into the drydown, it's very much a woody/patchouli blend with some alcohol. I think that may be red wine but I'm unsure. It's a bit sweet and rich; I get a bit of honey but nothing overpowering. This is sweet but definitely earthy.

Very much dirt. I also think there may be a loam note in here somewhere. And spice. I'm not sure which but I don't think it's nutmeg or cardamom either. I don't like either of those and I like this. It's weird but very interesting and you want to sniff some more. It drys down to a spicy, cologne-like blend that has lost most of the dirt smell. I never knew dirt could be this nice! Still, not for me.

Wow. Weird how our noses 'see' things differently than others.

This smells wonderful in the bottle; lightly citrus with a smooth musk and tonka/vanilla bean mix. On, it's definitely bergamot and firmly reminds me of Lush's Olive Branch Shower Gel. The bergamot is lightened here with other citrus notes; perhaps a bit of lemon peel or something of that sort. I get a bit of tea as well. Musky tea with a shot of tonka or vanilla bean. Vanilla musk with some smooth citrus; given a zing with some lemon peel. Nice blend, which I believe I've sent to its forever home.

Very fruity sweet. Like cotton candy almost when first applied. Fruits do not tend to work on me well; they end up smelling like ghosts of the real thing; sort of fake and a bit off. This blend is no exception, except in the drydown. The neroli combines with the red currant to form this beautiful note that is quite alluring and attention worthy. The wet stage is a bit too much for me though.

This is very much a peach driven scent. Hints of a white wine (or grape-ishness) are in this but it's a light and bright wine, not a heavy one like reds tend to be. Very bright and glowing. I was hoping that the ambers would show up to the party and be more than wallflowers but that isn't happening.

Very rich and spiced. Almost like a mulled peach wine. I dunno why I'm getting peach but I am. Peach and passion flower with a bit of honeysuckle to round it out. Very sweet (almost cloying for me) and pretty.

When I first put this on, it smelled exactly like DOUGH. Like if you were making rolls or bread or something from scratch, and you ate some of the dough. Very unmistakably that exact scent. I swear I smell yeast rising when I sniff it. It kept smelling like dough, but then the cinnamon came out, strongly. After, oh, an hour or so, it smelled more like some sort of cinnamon roll. I guess there's supposed to be cocoa in this, but the spice is so strong on me that I can't really tell.

 

I like foodie scents. Big fan of the ones that smell like cookies and cake. But dough? Hm. Not sure on that one. It smells great, I'm just not sure it's what I really want in a perfume. I'd be all over it as a room scent in my kitchen, though.

This. Almost exactly. The dough is a way big turnoff for me. Just no, something about it almost turns my stomach.

I would also tell the buyer, that it is full to the label, even if I got it like that from the lab, because I (as the buyer) expected the bottles to be fuller.

Maybe it's really like meganola said, the oil level goes down with aging. I don't think the seller wanted to betray me, she probably just didn't check the bottles before shipping. But I'm happy with my purchase anyway

And I think you're the sweetest thing ever. If I was the seller, I wouldn't have any problem if you brought this complaint to me and I would do my best to aleave your disappointment.

It's a sucky situation but I think you've handled it with class, based on what I know.

Really, a very furry and cozy musk that is slightly powdery and resinous at the same time. The licorice root is not strong in this at all; in fact you hardly notice it. I'm blaming the violet for this powdery, slightly sharp tinge that this blend has.

I do agree that sellers need to accurately describe where the fill level is.

I don't cut my Bpal oils. I don't really have any allergies to watch out for either so YMMV.

More and more the label is moving 'up' the bottle. Some of the protos I've gotten from etsy, the label is *right underneath the shoulder*. Measuring by label, while I admittedly do it, isn't an accurate assesment.

Your welcome! I think your English is fine. Variances within bottle manufacturing can be a bit daunting to realize and understand these days. We're so used to seeing Coca-cola and Pepsi bottles which are all *exactly the same* that we don't realize not all manufacturing processes (and therefore bottles) are going to be like that.

Best way to be sure of your fill? Measure it out yourself. It can be painstaking to do and You have to allow for some loss of oil from you doing it but you can do it. That and trust the person you're dealing with. ::shrug::

Lil, what she's saying, is you can't know that. The variations that happen in glass making cause differences within each bottle. One could have a thicker 'inside' than another, making it look like one bottle is fuller than the other when the truth is that they are filled with the same amount of liquid.

They only way to know for sure is to measure out what is in the bottle itself. Getting all the liquid out to do so is almost impossible, I know.

I dunno much about Quebec, but I bet Hochelaga is where all the gorgeous smelling people go.

This is just really warm, sweet smelling leather with a bit of dry spice and woods. It invites gyration; you may want to be picky with who you gyrate with but whatever. As long as you smell like this when you do, who cares?

This is a very light and airy. The florals all come together to provide a really beautiful backdrop to the centerpiece of this blend, which is the lilac. A bit of vanilla gives this a bit of a darker element to help ground all those flowers. Yeah, it's not DARK vanilla but compared to the lightness that is this bouquet, anything is dark(er). Creamy, sweet, and a bit reminiscent of Joyful Moon, I like this blend a lot once its in the dry phase. When wet, it is a bit too powdery and sharp for my tastes. We'll see which wins out, like vs dislike when it comes to a bottle.

I have a bottle of this that came from a trunk show, and I have to say, it's absolutely stunning. I hadn't reviewed it earlier because I'm having an extremely hard time picking out notes for this and describing it, but I happened to put it on the day after I tested XCDL13, and they smell incredibly similar on me. My wife thought I was wearing XCDL13 again when I asked her to smell it! So the best way I know to describe it is XCDL13 with a wispy orange note.

I have to say that Child o' Time may be on to something. This is the vanilla bean note I get from the mentioned proto above. Add a bit of orange and some cocoa and it's XCDL13 on drydown. Wow. Didn't ever put those two together but why not?

Very anise/licorice. And black licorice, not red or any of that sort of stuff but black. I'm not a fan of anise, black licorice, or that sort of smell (or taste!). I wish I was though. The vanilla is the same that I get from Snow White, only stronger.

Based on the character in the book, I had a vision of a sensual, exotic scent that is regal and sophisticated at the same time. I let myself down; meaning I expected a bit too much from Lady Una, me thinks.

It's a very beautiful sweet musk scent that has a bit of a tart/fruity edge to it, so it is very nice. Just not what I wanted from the scent. My skin doesn't cooperate sometimes.

Definitely some lemon in this. Don't expect the grapefruit to be juicy and 'round' smelling either. It's very tart, sharp, and almost dry smelling. Makes me think that sandalwood may be in this. The musk is very nice and a glowing one at that. Makes me wish I could tolerate the sharpness of the citrus but that is usually a deal breaker for me.

It really is kinda weird. Like Gin, the pine note in the background ruins this one for me. I wish it worked; the lovely, cold-like coconut with the beautiful flowers and just a bit of indistinct fruit? LOVE. Add a dash of pine and it's all over for me.
