From reading all your posts, this is one wildly varying scent. The imp I got from the Lab awhile back is all sweet fruity mulled wine. The first time my best friend smelled it on me she said "I smell Christmas!" and it's been my favorite Christmas scent ever since. So recently I bought an imp from another forumite and it is a lot different than my original one. It is not as heavy on the sweet mulled fruits and has a patchouli-like earthiness to it. Really NOT as Christmasy as my first one.

I'm not really comfortable volunteering where I get my scents from because I live in such a religiously fundie area. It's immediately going to get branded evil, and me as well, when they hear the name of the company, see the labels, and/or go to the web site. As much as I love the area where I live, the people are pissy sometimes.

I don't get any either, and I don't get any floral. I smell dewey clover and grass on a cool, overcast early morning. There's something else in there but I'm not good enough to pinpoint what it is. There's a rosemary or some other herbal essence that I'm getting from it too. I love it, and I can see myself wearing this a lot in March and early Springtime! Darbla

I've gone thru all 17+ pages of this thread and tallied up the mentions of each fragrance. The way some people phrased their posts, I had to decide if they were saying it was a sexy scent or just that someone liked it. For example, sometimes someone would say "gets the most reactions", but doesn't really say what KIND of reactions. Or "had a wild night but not sure BPAL contributed". So I used the context of the rest of the post to give it weight either toward sexy or the "honorable mentions" category. If something got several "honorable mentions" it got bumped up to the "sexy" category. I included a few comments that stood out for me in the posts with a few of these. There are layering combos at the end of each list. Also there were several threads blended into this one, so there could be some repeat mentions of a scent by the same people (does that make sense?). But you could take that as that scent was still working for that person later on, so it's probably worth an extra rating. This is not a scientific analysis by any means, and some of you may have weighted things differently than I did and come up with a slightly different list. But anyway, I did this for me but I'll share with you guys cuz I'm sweet like that. Top sex magnets: Unabashedly sexy scents. Every one of these had unambiguously sexy comments about them("seductive...", "SO is crazy about...", "guys go nuts over...", "can't leave the house with this on....", "can't quit sniffing/keep hands off me...", "I feel sexy when I wear...", "come hither...", "smells like a French whore", "pounce..."). Of course, any or all of these may not work with your skin chemistry or affect your guy, but at least you've got a few top ones to try. So after reading this thread, would it be accurate to say 'samhain' is pronounced just like the word 'sound' but with a silent 'd' on the end? Or does there need to be more of a break in there, making it 2 syllables? Darbla

For some reason I'm picturing that mixed with one of the dirt smells being like a cold night in a graveyard (which that idea may've already been done; I just don't have all the BPALs memorized). Maybe layered with Burial? Darbla
