wet: sweet freesia and melon. This smells like tropical fruit bubble gum. This is a soft, sweet, and... friendly scent. drydown: there is a hint of something minty starting to come through, adding the the bubble gum feel. I'm also starting to smell the salt, so it could also be called salt water taffy. It's a tangy sort of sweet smell, if that makes sense. final impression: this is nice. pleasant. It smells clean and fruity, with just that little hit of "something else" that makes it interesting. 51 is totally a spring/summer scent.

*I'm new, so my nose isn't attuned to individual notes yet, which is unfortunate with this one because something in this mix HATES ME. Oh, no, no, no. Something in this turned rancid on me and now my wrist smells like a cross between halitosis and that dirty, crusty old sock you inevitably find at the bottom of your gym bag. Oh, god, kill it! Kill it with fire! What is doing this to me? Whatever it is, I need to stay far, far away from it.

    Lampades

Disclaimer: I am new, and my nose is not attuned to individual notes yet. Wet: woah, this reminds me of walking into "Earthbound Trading Company" or "World Market." That artificial "exotic" smell that permeates everything they sell. Drydown: This one is pretty true to it's description, sweet and tangy, a little mystical, a little sensual. I'm really starting to pick up the spices in the background, it's really warming up on my skin. Unfortunately, something about this just keeps reminding me of walking through a commercialized "international" market. Final Impression: This is a pleasant "red" scent. Like burning incense mixed with a cherry cough drop. I like it, I just don't know if I can shake the scent association I'm having, like I'm at a store in the mall, looking at overpriced novelty items. :-\

    Loup Garou

Disclaimer: I am new, and my nose is not attuned to individual notes yet. Loup Garou was a frimp in my first order. In the Imp: Woah! That's a sinus opener! Wet: Eucalyptus and Pine Cones. Smells like Vicks Vapor Rub and Pine Sol. Not an unpleasant smell at all, but not something I would wear out. I could see myself putting this on to get myself into a "housework" mood. Drydown: something is getting sweeter on me. It's starting to smell like my papa's workshop, and I like it. Wood filings and cold, crisp winter air. The Eucalyptus is morphing into a softer, almost spearmint smell. pleasant. clean. Final Thoughts: Well, color me surprised. I actually really like this! It's reminding me childhood winters, playing out in the forest behind my house, fingers and toes numb and tingly from the cold. From the way it smelled at first, I never would have guessed how much I liked this. It really does remind me of running through the forest in the winter. Love it.

Scent Recs based on your PERSONALITY!

Hello. I'm new and looking at getting my first batch of IMP EARS; there are so many intriguing scents, I don't know which to choose! I'm game for suggestions. So, here's a little bit about me: I'm a 27-year-old girl. I'm an Aries. I'm an actor, frequently told that I am the Katharine Hepburn, Ellen Page, and Kate Winslet "type," so I must give of a strong, intelligent, and independent vibe (at least, that's what I get from the three of them). I love all things Tinkerbell, because she is feisty, passionate, loyal, mischievous, and energetic... my friends say those are all pretty good descriptors for me, so it makes sense that I would like her. I'm an animal lover, and I love running around and playing with my dogs. I live next to a national forest and love to go for long walks out on the trails in the woods. I love being active, I do yoga and dance, and I'm trying to teach myself Parkour/Free Running. I'm not good at sitting still for long, but I do enjoy reading (mostly urban fantasy, science fiction, and high fantasy), playing video games (I like Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect), and watching movies. I tend to use the "pause" button a lot, though. A few favorite television shows are Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Once Upon a Time (I totally stalk the "Captain Hook" tag on TUMBLR, that pirate is dangerously sexy). I write stories and plays, I make quilts by hand, I restore old furniture, I design sets and costumes for stage plays, I love all kinds of music; I'm very creative in general. I want to live a life full of love, adventure, laughter, and art. ------------------------------------------------------------------ So... whaddya think I should try? :-)
