    Euphrosyne

Smelled amazingly sweet and warm in the imp, but the moment it touched my skin it was Jasmine dish soap and within ten minutes it was just soap. Appears that I'm really not doing well on flowers in any of the other batches aside from Rapuccinni's Garden.

    Séance

Oh, soft, soothing love. It smelled too nuetral in the imp. On my skin I was pleasnantly surprised with refreshing scents crowding upward for freedom. The rose smell, not dominant or overpowering, but faint and light. The hazel, warming the foundation. This reminds me of a walk through the forest at dusk in late spring. The trees are swining in the wind and the musk of bloosmed flowers lingers. This matches my having dressed up today completely. Another keeper.

    Casanova

Sharp and heady at the first since, with an acrid not in the backdrop. On my skin it became alrmingly only bergamot at once, which is bad, because it screams at me in an agressive way, but luckly within the first twenty or thirty minutes the bergamot lulled into the swelling leather note. During the day I caught some of the anise and patchiuly, but I didn't find much else. I'm slowly becoming curious thought to how it, and the Leather note singularly, might smell on Billy. Because it'd be different, and the women talk about it, as would be proper of masculine scents, right?

    Enraged Orangutan Musk

In the imp this smells incredibly waxy and plant-like, as all that comes to me is the rain forest plants, which made me incredibly doubtful of this entire test. It started out as a strong, but thick musk which vanished immediately into a soap scent minutes later. Having written this one off at waxy and soapy, I left it alone for a good thirty minutes. But then I was knocked off by a big surprising. I sniffed it curiously and suddenly there was neither. Sniff. The scent had become an orange-flavored musk. Another hour. Sniff. The scent became the ambergris, amber and musk collection. Sniff. Sniff. Sniff. Attempt to breathe in wrist skin without needing to breathe. Oooh, luscious gift, you will be kept. I got this as a gift sniffer but I'll be adding this one to my wish list.

    Hecate

It smells warm and musky in the tube, but once it hits my skin I can finally smell the butter. About an hour later I can smell the softer, almost but not quite sweet scent of the almond. Sadly, the musk and myrrh never emerge from this scent. I never get a whiff or wave of the mentioned psychpomp, wrath, time, wisdom, magic, mystery or spice that should be associated with her. I'd say I could keep this and see how it ages, but i don't think I could where this scent with the deity connotations of the title.

    Black Lotus

In the tube, this is rich and darkly scented and on my skin it's pure heaven. When it's applied to my skin it becomes a perfect mix of amber and myrrh scent, which reminds me heavenly of incense with mingled unnamable notes under them. By around mid-day as my boyfriend put it, it's all musk, resin and a touch of something sweet. This lasted through out the whole day and delighted me at every single turn. I think Rappaccini’s Garden has a follower in me.

    The Queen of Hearts

In the imp this is a little strong and sickeningly sweet, but the moment it touched my wrist it turned magical. I could smell the strong sweet lily and hot luscious cherry, which mingled well together to produce a sultry scent. Too bad for me, after ten minutes of smelling amazing the oil turned completely to scent of generic bathroom soap and decided to stay that way for the rest of the day. To say the least I was a little heartbroken after it's stupendous start.

    Le Serpent Qui Danse

In the bottle this is sharp, sweet and floral, but the moment it hits my skin it screams SOAP. Given a little time it screams SOAP, in a painful head way, but with an undercurrent of nectar scents. Toward the middle of the day, the soap scent fades, but it becomes baby powder with a faint whiff of floral at the end. Now, almost fifteen hours later, it finally smells like violet and gardenia flowers, but the it's too little too late. This one will end up in the trade or wait pile as well.

    Gomorrah

This scent was slightly acrid in the bottle, but when it went on the my skin it reminded me of a haunted place. The soft, cold, left alone places. The sweetness of something left overly ripe in the sun, but starting to go already as well. The problem with this scent is that it really doesn't strike any cords with me. Its more faint than anything else, without being to sweet or too spicy or too warm or to neutral. It just really doesn't move me in any direction at all.

    Al-Shairan

This is sharper scent in the bottle, but evocatively so without being off putting. On my skin I got the scent of a fresh air market bazaar, with heavy incense and the mingled scents of all the things which were sold. The clove, peach and cinnamon were strongest for the morning, but as the day wore on this one settled firmly into a gentle patchouli and cinnamon mixture. Not sure this one is a keeper, but I did like how it started at the very beginning.

    Blood Rose

Omg. My second favorite scent now. I was in love from the moment I picked up the imp, the scent of a real rose bursting through the plastic even. On my skin, it's a robust, thick scent of roses and sweet, fruity wine. Given time it smoothes out, adding the dragon's blood in as the sparkle of enrichening warmth.

    Nemesis

In the tube it was strong, but not garishly. On my wrist it was suddenly sharp and pungent. A headache slammed into my head within the first five-ten minutes, which was the first bad sign. A blend that can trigger my migraines would be horrible. The scent stayed hazy and sharp, even as it softened in intensity. Breathing it in deeply on my wrist still causes my temples to throb lightly, so this one will definitely be in the swap pile. It must be something in the mixture of the cypress, ginger, and cyclamen, because the others are fine on me.

    Dragon's Heart

This has been my favorite scent in imp hands down for almost a year, and I'm delighted to say it continues to be my favorite imp out of the bottle as well. In the bottle I can smell the delightfully sharp, spicy dragon's blood, mingling with the warmth of other indistinguishable notes. Since going on my skin I've gone through waves of being able to smell the dragon's blood and musk mixed together, full of warmth. Passing in and out I find small whiffs of scent reach me in delicate sweetness of the fig and currant, but regularly when I smell my wrist it's warm musks, spicy dragon's blood and the faint whisper of a sweetness.

    Akuma

In the bottle and I can most definitely smell the bitter-ripe orange strong, but the moment it hits my skin this blend transforms. It's suddenly syrup and cotton candy sweetness, like an incredibly sweet luscious raspberry cordial with nothing else attending it. Very seldom did the other notes peak out. I do think this is amazing but it's something I'd use with amazing rarity, just like how often I go to eat that kind of dessert or drink. This may end up in the swap pile, but it is good.

    Delphi

In the imp this is almost sickly sweet to the point of throwing me off (as it had originally been in a swap-away pile untested), but once it touched my skin I was amazed again. Suddenly the sharp note of bay and laurel twined into the honey. In the close minutes passing, the silky smoky scent emerged. I could see it in my mind, the hazy, sharp, sweet scent that would be flooding the room before you gained entrance to speak with the Oracle. A few hours in the honey note dominates and drowns all the others, because I kept catching whiffs of it all afternoon, but eventually it settles down gently. I'm still not sure if it isn’t' too sweet for me though.

    House of Night

In the bottle this smells very fir and greenery. On me it started out the sickly sweet of the area in a funeral where all the flowers are set up. Opressive sweet and floral, with this unlying scent that couldn't help but evoke a feeling of sadness from me. Softened it reminded me greatly of white lily or narcisus, which resoundingly speak funerals and loss. It stayed very gentle for most of the day. I think this is a keeper, but specially saved to be worn on days of meloncholy, when I'm especially missing lost or very distant loved ones.

    Venice

It started out garishly soapy that almost gave me a headache and mellowed an hour later into spicy soap, but with no noticeable note scents from above. It had a wear life of only a handful of hours, because what's left on my wrist now six hours later is very, very faint. This is sad to me, because now when I can catch it the soap has faded entirely and I can catch the sweet violet or wisteria, rich sandalwood, and deep currant, but it lasts only seconds and becomes just neutral empty.

    Nocnitsa

... Her scent is that of a lightless fir wood, nighttime air, wet forest mosses and upturned earth. This started out quite sharp and heavy in the fir, almost acrid. It reminded me a lot of Christmas flavor and pine trees, but it was too strong for my usual daily wear. Given thirty minutes the fir scent vanished completely, making the scent very aquatic. Across the new few hours, the notes for the nighttime air and the upturned earth slip in gently, rarely but delightfully spicing up every now and then with a beautiful fir scent. This is a very light and airy scent which would help keep me calm and carefree in distressing times.

    De Sade

The scent is rich, dark, spicy, almost-musky. When I first put this on my immediate reaction was that it was drastically a masculine scent and not for me. Given about an hour to let it soften on my skin though, it's addictively something I'd wear with my short skirt and high boots when gone clubbing. It reminds me of the smell of dancing late into the night in a swam of bodies. The scent is heady and evocative, definitely something Casse would have in her mixture. I must try this on my boy after reading all the reviews of it on husbands though.
