If there's one thing I adore about getting a giant order, it's all the samples that come with it. Granted, everything that I get is great, but there's always at least one or two standouts that I end up blowing me away - and definitely whet my appetite to purchase more products from Bpal. The standout this time was Bathsheba. I've never really been a big fan of floral scents, but bpal always manages to put some sort of exciting - and usually exotic - twist on flowers. Bathsheba is one of those amazing floral blends that I probably wouldn't have given a second thought about. Carnations are pretty common, and if you've ever smelled one in person, they're not exactly the most pleasant smelling flower; as the scent is rather pungent and not altogether pleasant. Nor would I associate someone/something like Bathsheba with carnation, as I said given the kind of scent -- which I don't find pleasant in real life. In the vial, it's nothing but carnation straight through, but even in the vial there's this warm undercurrent of spice. I'm a big fan of spice and/or incense, so I decide to swipe some on my wrist. It is all those lovely, spicy things that I hoped it would be. Granted, the carnation is there, but it only enhances the warmth of the spices. There is a fruity sweetness there, but not enough to make it candy sweet. The longer it stays on my skin, the warmer and spicier it gets. The carnation is still there, it's only enhancing the spice and the sweet - not overtaking it. I'm definitely considering getting a full sized vial, as this is much too pretty to pass up.

I somehow accidentally got a little bit on my finger, and I'm finding it quite pleasant. I've never really been a huge fan of rose, but I found this to be rather pleasant. It definitely reminds me of a church, filled with freshly cut flowers - mingling with the smoke from the incense. I can certainly imagine statues of Mother Mary being anointed with this. I may just have to purchase a bottle of this.

This oil isn't bad, but it isn't one of my favorites. I can somewhat see the comparisons to Snake Oil or O, but with a distinct powdery and/or soapy note and less sweetness. If anything, it makes me think of a man's applying cologne on freshly washed skin - its quite masculine to my nose. Taste-wise, its not really up my alley. Its nice, though.

I'm really surprised at how light this scent is, given the ingredients. It's very warm and lotion-like when it starts out on my skin, with a floral undertone. The longer it sits on my skin, the more it blooms into a spicy sweet scent. I wouldn't neccesarily say chai, but I would say it's a spicy floral scent. It's very sexy, feminine, and very womanly. Highly recommended.

I would describe this scent as "pleasant." Its not sexy, naughty, or feminine; but its a pleasing/comforting type of scent. Granted, I'm not overly fond of clean or linen-like scents, but this one worked for me for the simple fact that it didn't turn overly clean or overly fresh - the honey and vanilla kept that from happening. I think of the color of white could be bottled, it would be this. But this isn't a pure white, but a slight off-white; or a very pale cream color.

I have to agree with other posters that this scent is remineiscent of soil - fresh soil, that is. To be honest, on my skin it smells like a combination of fresh soil and wet funeral flowers. The rose starts to make more of an appearance as it starts to dry down, but it maintains that freshly-turned-earth scent throughout. It reminded of The Reaper and the Flowers, but wit a more mossy - instead of a detergent-like - scent. I don't think that I would buy a full bottle, but I would happily use the imp every once in a while to switch it up every now and then.

I got this as a free sample a while back, and while it wasn't unpleasant it just wasn't up my alley. Given its namesake, I thought this would be darker - which it is not. It smells like iced tea with lemon. Granted, I love iced tea, and I was somewhat put off by smelling like one. Do I think this scent is interesting? Yes. Do I think its sexy? Nope.

I got this as an imp along with an order, and the name alone intrigued me. So I opened up the imp, took a whiff and tried some on. My husband caught a whiff, and asked me what I wearing, adding that really liked the scent. To me its a predominantly amber scent, but its made that much more richer and deeper with the addition of the cinnamon and sandalwood - the patchouli doen't overpower but plays a nice supporting role to the other scents by adding a slight touch of earthiness. This is O's sexier, older, and more experienced sister. Hence, the reason I bought two bottles.

I'm surprised that this didn't get more reviews, because this is a really pretty floral: a heady, sweet mix of jasmine and resins. It's sexy, but in a very womanly way. It starts out strong, but it quickly morphs into this beautiful floral bouquet, with jasmine taking a firm - but not overwhelming - lead. I think more people need to take a.second look at this blend before it disappears forever.

I'm a bit of an absinthe drinker myself, and I have always enjoyed the scent of it, so I decided to buy a bottle. I'm wanting to buy a backup so badly, because I know that I'll be out of this all too quickly. I love the opening, how it starts out so green and bright. The rose and lilac quickly swoop in tempering the green, but there's a slight trace of opium in the background adding septh to all the floral and green. Only towards the very end to I catch the sugar, but it isn't overly sweet and is tempered by the last bits of opium smoke. Gorgeous, beautiful, and very intriguing. And very intoxicating.

Reading the reviews I assumed that Saw Scaled Viper would be a little bit sweeter, but its not. There is some sweetness there, but it is a very VERY DRY smell. Hot and dry, and very woody to my nose. When I applied the oil, it stayed very dry, woody, and incredibly spicy. It seems as if my personal chemistry seems to intensify the cassia and ginger to the nth degree - it was all bite right up to the very end. I am determined to work with it, as I think this would be absolutely beautiful layered with other scents - especially with vanilla.

I enjoyed this scent so much that I had to buy a backup. This is definitely a fruity scent, but the mahogany and frakincense keep the fruit in check, which keeps it from being overly sweet - it gives it a pleasant dryness, like red wine. Futhermore, ths addition of the patchouli gives it that extra dirty kick which tickles my fancy as well. If I had to compare this scent, I would say that its similar to Bordello, but with an earthier/dustier feel. Very sexy, indeed.

I thought about purchasing a sample of this, but I got lucky enough to receive this with a recent order. I've smelled dragon's blood before - as well as various combinations thereof - but this by far and away the best blend I've combination I've come across. The blend of dragon's blood, honey, vanilla is very warm and inviting - with a slight spiciness that's very cinnamon-like. I might just purchase a full-size vial in the near future.

As far as perfumes go, I usually gravitate towards something sweet or resinous (or both), but I can appreciate a good floral. I tend to be a bit more daring in the floral department as I tend to like florals that are heady and sweet - because clean and soapy tends to be a bit of a turn off. Granted, violet is a soapy note, but the addition of gardenia and vanilla add a depth and sweetness and headiness that I find appealing. As a matter of fact, its the gardenia that seems to take center stage on my skin, with the violet and vanilla taking strong supporting roles. After the scent has dried has dried down, the violet takes more of a back seat, with the vanilla taking a bit more of the spotlight - with the gardenia in a strong supporting role. This a very sexy and incredibly feminine scent; very grown up with a hint of girly.

This is another bottle that I've bought unsniffed, and I am once again pleasantly surprised. I've read several descriptions of what how this oil would smell, and I assumed that it would be a musk like vanilla-ish scent with an undercurrent of body sweat - which would be interesting in and of itself. What I love about this scent is how different it is from the bottle to the skin. When I first opened the bottle, the scent I caught was cherries and almonds. On the skin it turned into a spicy scent, similar to Snake Oil, but with cinnamon instead of vanilla. The dry down was also interesting. O started to morph into a spicy, chocolately scent. It stayed that way until the end, where it suddenly morphed into a vanilla-like skin scent that stayed close to the skin. So, in a way, it is like the scent of post-coital sweat, but a pleasant interpretation of said sweat. It morphs into all of those things that are deemed oh-so-lickable, like cherry juice drizzeled on top of almonds, on top of melted chocolate, with sultry cinnamon at the center. This is definitely a rebuy.

I got this as an imp with my second order, and just the name alone was intriguing. In the vial, it definitely smell like rose, a rich resinous rose in full bloom. I was really disappointed that this didn't work on me, because as soon as I applied it the scent became too sharp and powdery - it bascially morophed into a bathroom cleander scent on my skin. I can definitely see this working on the right chemistry, but just not with mine. I may use it to scent other things, such as some nice silk roses that I have sitting up, or one of my rosaries made of real roses.

Whenever I smell Bordello, I think of two different types of fabric. I think of bright pink fuschia satin draped over deep red satin, tied together with a black silk rope. That's the image that always pops into my head whenever I catch a whiff of this scent. If it were a person it would be a femme fatale, but with an innocent and very playful streak. She'd make the hardest and most conservative of men let their hair down and play. Oh yes, she will... I do agree, the scent is like candy, but a sexy candy. Rich, decadent and sinfully sweet -much like richly hued fruits left to soak in a bath of deep red wine. But enough with the prose... This is my second fruity scent, and I have to say that at first sniff I was really taken aback by this one - at least at first. I thought back to all of the reviews that I had read on here, and all the references to it "smelling like candy" and they were right, it does smell like candy - more like expensive candy. Like some red hard candy, with a liquor-soaked fruit at the center. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but it ended up growing on me. What really drove it home for me was the pleasant reactions from friends and family. Everyone literally LOVED the scent, especially my husband who was unable to stop sniffing my wrist for quite some time. As for my friends, every one of them deeply inhaled the scent; and the expression on their faces was one of extreme pleasure... It was hard to describe. Dare I say, it was like watching the essence of seduction being unbottled and released.... In my opinion, as it dries down it gets a bit more complex. Don't get me wrong, it stays very very sweet, but it starts to get a bit richer and boozier and deepens - the candy impression starts to take a back seat. So, if you like fruity or candy-like scents, then I'm sure you'll like this one.

By far, our most popular scent! Magnetic, mysterious, and exceedingly sexual in nature. A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla. I've heard so much about this oil, and I've been wanting to try it quite a while. An opportunity finally presented itself in eary November, and me being the impulse buyer that I am I bought two (one is here, while one is still on the way). All I can say is that I'm glad I bought this oil, because I know that I'll be using it quite a bit! I will agree with most posters that when you take a whiff from the bottle it does smell bit medicinal (vicks, maybe?), but when it's applied and allowed to dry down is when the magic truly begins. The vanilla slowly, but surely starts to appear but is kept in check by the incenses/spices within the blend - it doesn't border on the overly foody/sugary (although I will admit that I do like to smell like a bakery every once a while, but that's a different subject for a different time). I like that slight bite/sting, and I'm constantly bringing my wrist up to my nose to catch a whiff, I love it that much! It's definitely a sexier, more grown up vanilla. As one reviewer on YouTube put it once, "it's sex in a bottle." I agree! I know that I'll be repurchasing this again, and again...
