This is another scent that is sexy. In the bottle: leather and musk The wet stage: (coughs) very wet stage...... Its like a wrestling match for dominance between the sweet powdery rose and the oh so naughty leather. The musk and honey and in the background being the peanut gallery. Laughing and chuckling watching the leather and rose sweat it out. Once plateau stage happens the musk and honey come out to play. In the final act: leather beats the powdery rose into submission. I think this is a rose I can wear, if I can get past the wet stage.

Just got my bottle today! BTW this is my first review on this site In the bottle its smells sweet and spicy with a bunch of floral scents. Wet: Its nice Dry: on my wrists its turning into soap smelling. I will see what it smells like with its mellow.. Just sniffed again, the spice is coming back around!

When I got a decant of this during the Luper update. I took one whiff and maybe dashed a bit on. It was way too much patchouli for me. I *ALMOST* gave the decant away. But something told me, to calm down and try again with this decant. Since wearing BPAL, I can now fully appreciate patchouli. I am glad, I waited! Patchouli has aged nicely, kind of like a nice full-bodied wine. Its woodsy and dirty, says "come play with me" The honey and vanilla amber are the supporting acts here, and are lovely in there own right. it comes on dirty and then gets really nice the drydown stage with the vanilla amber is the best part of FM&FMWP! 4/5 for me!

I haven't wore this one in a while, so I picked it up and put it on. So glad that I did, because its a very comforting scent. The rosewood hits my nose first, and then the red musk, and then followed by the sandalwood. Oh soo lovely for a fall day.

Its either Jack or Ghost House for me.

Two words describe Jibiki Danuki for me. Spicy and Soft. The purple sage gives it the spicenss and the oakmoss gives it an earthyness. In the background the white and black musks makes it soft. Its very feminine on me. Sadly, I have a decant of it. I think I need MOAR!! 5/5 for me.

I have 3 costumes for Halloween! One is a 1920's flapper the second is day of the dead skeleton and the third is Marie from Breaking Bad. My husband is going as Hank. I am trying to decide what I should wear for bpal.... Jazz Funeral for day of the dead? Something purple inspired for Marie?

Lady of the Night orchid, benzoin, opopponax, currant, black chypre, white gardenia, ambergris, damp, wooded mosses, and black lily. WOW it's a very well blended perfume, as I am having a hard time picking out one individual note over another. This blend does not morp on me This is a floral that isn't screaming "OMG I AM FLORAL, SMELL ME" The wooded moses and the ambergris deepen it. I am not a big fan of aquatics and florals seem to turn to powder on me. Black Butterfly Moon has changed my mine on the note ambergris and it smells like salt to me. Which I am liking paired against the florals and wooded mosses. I am glad I got a decant of this.

If you can track down Peach V I recommend it for a neroli blend.

When seeing this on the update about Dragon Con, I *knew* that I had to have it. So I went and bugged one of friends to pick it up for me. I must have the blood type of single note of honey, because I amp honey so wonderfully. In addition, fruits play well with me. Plum, cherry, pear, and now peach. Peaches, tea, and honey remind me of late summer afternoons outdoors sitting on the porch before the storm rolls in. Each of the components add to each other. I smell the peach first and then the honey secondly. The white tea and neroli are in the background adding depth. 5/5 another winner!

luna negra is, in my opinion, the best dark musk blend out there. sexiness. Luna Negra: The solace of shadows: blackberry and blackcurrant with Nepalese amber, kewda attar, and a deep, rich, sweet dark musk. it is just *SO* good. i hope they re-release it at some point. i will buy ALL THE BOTTLES. raven moon is also a delicious dark musk, albeit more creepy-dark than sexy-dark. which is sometimes called for. Raven Moon: Mournful and Never-ending Remembrance: shining, moonlit ebony musk with benzoin, myrrh, smoky vanilla, patchouli, nutmeg, and dried red chili. Oh my GOD I'm going to have to chase down at least a decant of both! They sound DIVINE. <3 These do sound good!!! I WANT! I agree with you Fuhrankie, I could roll around with smut until I drown as well!

A second vote for Conical Beast! I doesn't nearly get the love that its needs.... Also you may like Oblation A stirring blend of dianthus, French lavender, blackberry, and white honey and The Soul of La Traviata Black plum, black musk, black currant, iridescent pink grapefruit, neroli, and jungle orchid.

This was one of my favorite lupers of this year. I can't believe I have not reviewed my decant yet. It reminds me of a hot sunny day, in a field. Eating fresh juicy apricots, thicken with honey and touch of cayenne pepper for good measure. Its so good that it is dripping down your throat. Spilling onto your clothes, that you just have to laugh at yourself. The trees are heavy and thick with leaves, the air slightly breezy and in the distance you hear, a long lost love calling your name........ its hot, juicy and pure spice. verdict: bottle worthy

I am in love with this scent. I wore it yesterday after waking up with a bad hang over. Oh smut led me astray and OLOP helped soothe my soul after partying with devil. My first whiff is the soft lavender and this blend deepens, I get the black orchid at times and in the dry down stage I really morph the blood musk, that I could have sworn that I was still wearing Smut. I need to track down a bottle of this!

A Thought From Propertius and Yellow Jessamine Honey

If I could just capture the wet stage of A Sudden Invitation, then it would be a clear winner for me. I love plum, sandalwood, mint and agarwood. However the plum and mint gets overshadowed by the agarwood and sandalwood. This is comparable to The Red Queen (without the plum and mint). 3.5/5 for me its nice but doesn't give me the plum and mint nearly enough for me to love it.

Smut 2013 Smut does not morph, Smut dances thats right, the notes dance on my skin. All the other reviews for this scent are fantastic, I am afraid, I won't nearly do it justice. Because I can't. You will have to smell the Smut for your self. Wet: Musk, ohhh lots of musk The drydown dances around you, some notes peak and then go into the background, then shine on the stage once again. I got the three musks, surrounded by cherry, rum, sugar, cocoa, sassafras, cinnamon, and the labs snow note! My wrist smelled different than my chest and also had a chilling affect on me. This is definitely bottle-worthy! its raw, animistic, sex in a bottle. This one is going to Coachella with me.

I am not a big fan of patchouli, but in Conical Beast it is a very light note that plays well with vetiver. The main component in Conical Beast is the black cherry pulp, its a very juicy, wet, cherry scent grounded by the earthiness of the vetiver and patchouli. ummm did not know that there as cherry in Black Phoenix. I get a lot of powder in this blend (almond?)
