    Hamadryad

Hamadryad... wintergreen! A leetle bit more refined-smelling than drugstore wintergreen oil, but there's not much difference. Time passes... the wintergreen wisps away completely, leaving a very gentle floral that reminds me of commercial perfume.

    Clio

The description of Clio sounded just perfect to me! Unfortunately, all I smell for the first hour or two is JUNIPER. It fades to a very nice but faint smell of lavender, so faint I have to jam my wrist up my nose to detect it. The juniper part is strong but pleasant enough, so overall I do like it, but I really wish I could smell more of the woods, amber and orange that other people are getting.

    Sybaris

Sybaris starts off smelling of pink washroom soap and a bit of baby powder. After a while on my skin it becomes spicy and sweet, and the scent seems to become quite a bit stronger! I don't think violets are ever going to work for me, they remind me too much of *cough*pink washroom soap*cough* but if a violetty Florence sounds like your kind of thing, then you might just love Sybaris.

    Paris

Paris smells very happy, sweet and pretty in the vial. I like the lavender a lot, but it seems to fade very quickly leaving too much lotus. I learned something new trying this out... the scent of warm lotus on my skin makes me a bit nauseous. One for lotus fans but not for me!

    Namaste

Oh dear! I received Namaste as a lab frimp and I would never have guessed the notes. It smells bitter, a bit woodsy and very antiseptic. It doesn't change on my skin, after half an hour it is still quite unpleasant on top of having a strong throw.

    Usher

At first Usher smells pleasant and a bit fresh, like being in a garden. I can mainly smell the mint and musk. There's a bit of tea, but I never do smell the fruit scents outright. It gradually becomes warmer over time, and a few hours later it smells like a warm, manly musk... almost sweaty. This is very masculine but refined, and not at all overpowering. I think the changes in scent reflect the character of Roderick Usher wonderfully.
