Alaeidrel

This is hard for me to smell on the drydown,which is weird. I might need to slather. It's incense and spices with maybe a hint of trees or leather - I think the leather and sandalwood just ground the scent. This isn't something I'd normally wear, it's masculine and not my normal thing, but I really like it. I want to see how it ages for sure, and it'll be a good warm winter scent.

I don't do white florals well, but this is a blend I might actually be able to wear. It's citrusy at first and then wears down to something more mellow, sweet flowers and musk with citrus. It kind of reminds me of sunscreen in a pleasant way.

For the first 45 minutes this is astringent, discordant fruit loops on me. Literally, it smells like cereal turned weird perfume. After that it morphs into lemon pledge and then vanishes completely. Weiiiird.

This is really strange when wet, but dry it's a very subtle dry woods and mint. It's well blended and hella elegant.

In the bottle this is seriously funky vanilla plastic. It takes a while to morph into a subtle, resinous cedar and incense. I like it but that first stage is awful.

Like DJ Sin said it's close to Karme. But it's soft, not-quite ripe veggies growing in loamy, boggy soil instead of the warm sun-ripened smell of Karme. I love it! It's super subtle after it dries down.

In the bottle, I basically can't smell this. Drying down, it's wildflower honey without doing the insane AMP HONEY FOREVER my skin loves and saffron. There's maybe a little coconut rounding it out, but I don't smell it yet. (I also only test a tiny bit of each scent, so my wrist is literally pressed to my nose to sniff this). Dry it's a very sophisticated, slightly foody honey. I'm quite a fan. (Boo, hiss).

In the bottle all I got was some sort of bright fruit. Drying down it's hella juicy papaya. Not super boozy, just bright and in your face. I can't find the ti leaf or the musk yet. Dry it's actually balanced out a lot. I can't really pick apart the notes but the papaya is muskier and not quite as insane, I'm assuming tempered by the ti. This will be really nice for my upcoming vacation in mexico.

Sake is basically one of my favorite notes, and skin musk is something I always want to love. Ambrette seed and I have an interesting love/hate/evil migraine of doom relationship. As a triumverate, this bottle was a gamble but it seems to have paid off! I second that it's a little oddly floral, moreso than musky. Wet, the sake note is dominant for me (yay!) with more florals than I expected. I can't seem to find the musk, but I test such small amounts it might not be detectable unless I wear more. Dry it's still oddly floral. I'll have to wear it more and see how I feel about it... It's more 'white floral' than i see myself reaching for often.

Holy crap. Hollllllly craaaap. I was sort of iffy about this since none of the vulvas have worked for me, but what a good blind buy. In the bottle it's mostly just coconut and I can't tell anything else. As it dries it's the mallow note I love with coconut and it's toasted and incredible. A foody scent I'd actually wear. Amber hates me, and so far, it hasn't come out to play at all and turn into evil powder. Dry it's exactly the same and amazing, holy crap.

In the bottle, I mostly just get apricot, a little floral, a little fruit. As it dries it gets creamier vanilla and apricot, but with an odd high top note that reminds me of the vanilla orchid HG. There's maybe the tiniest hint of cardamom. Dry, it's still pretty floral and high. Here's to hoping it ages to be a little more musky - I ended up swapping away the aforementioned HG because of that note. I love apricot so I want this to be stronger, muskier and spicier.

I get the moss and musk and the woods, mostly- soft, golden, but... chilled, somehow. A little sharp around the edges. It has a distinctly different scent each time I catch a whiff when I move, as opposed to when I huff my wrist.

I swapped my bottle away, and then recently picked up an imp of it. How different this is than my bottle! It's still got the high, sharp gin note but it's tempered by obvious peach and something that might be apple or pie, but grounds it well. Much more pleasant, although I don't need a whole bottle.

Cinnamon and anise. Yum!

This is divine... and then vanishes off my skin immediately, no matter how much I slather. Argh! It's the only amber I can stand.

Sweet peppery... kinda bubblegum. Not in a bad way. This is so strange... I can't really pick out notes, wet. More of a floral now, with the vanilla fading. All I can think is... wow, odd.

Not much honey to speak of, but nice spices with a slightly pokey edge to them. I can't pick out any of the notes, but it reminds me of Ronin and The Nun and the Courtly Lady. It's soft and clean and maybe a tiny bit floral.

Testing this one just out of the cold, because I'm super impatient. Wet: definitely cloying, like mymymai said. Tons of marshmellows and some weird acrid note that might be the anise/cherries. Smells vaguely pink. Drydown: Faint, much more vanilla and mallow. No sandalwood anywhere, which is sad because that's what I was hoping the base would be. Much more pleasant. Slightly foody but not edible nor overwhelming. Dry: Mostly the same, but kinda powdery now. Bad perfume! Powder is death. It's still quite pleasant so we'll see how it goes after it warms up a little.

I too got plants and moss and some sort of insence. I normally amp dragon's blood to nauseating levels but it's staying grounded in this one, adding spice but not overpowering the moss and whatever the peppery, resin scent is.

Most apple is too weird on my skin to wear, but this is almost an apple single note as others have mentioned. I'm actually in love with it because it's so soft and gentle. It's a bit overly sweet in the bottle, but dries to a beautiful light apple and floral. I think there's probably a little currant and tomato grounding it but they're so well mixed I can't pick them out.

Atropos describes this as 'chestnut buttercream' and I'm heavily inclined to agree. It's a skin scent, soft and nutty and sweet... yet somehow oddly floral. Sometimes on the drydown it hits and acrid note, but that seems to fade off pretty fast. It's just on the edge of foody.

This is pretty great. It's less 'sweet potato' than I expected, but it's a pleasant non-foodie foodie blend. When first in the bottle or on it's all fake butter extract and incredibly strong. It mellows to a soft spiced ambrette musk - I think I get the oats, too. Stays close to the skin and soft, pleasantly so. I'd be estatic if it smelled more like it's muse but I'm happy to keep this iteration.

Everything I get, straight out of the bottle, is honey and fig. There's maybe a little sage or cedar grounding it's sweetness but I can't find it. I amp honey and I love that this just smells like warm, sweet figs in the sun. So glad I got a bottle.

Sweet, powdery rose with no coconuts or other florals. I tested right after it came so hopefully it'll change with settling..

So much juniper. So sharp. So strong. When this first arrived all I got was fizzy gin, like in Golden Wave, but now after settling for a week it's strong metallic juniper with no fruit. I love the note but this is so strong it almost turns my stomach. Dried I get less metal and a little more fruit, but it's still a bit too harsh to wear.
