    The Rose

In the bottle: Fresh rose! Wet on skin: Rose, rose rose. It's like a bouquet of freshly cut red roses in a vase. Drydown (3 minutes): Faded slightly, but still ROSE. Drydown (5 minutes): ROSE, but less fresh. The greenery smells in the background pretty much fade completely. Overall impression: I really like this scent for its simplicity, and rose really works on me, but it fades really quickly, and has a low throw. I can see how people get "old lady perfume" from this, but I tend to like the old-fashioned scents, haha. This might be one of the scents I start putting in my oil burner.

    Dragon's Blood

I was hoping for a warm, powerful scent, as I love those types, but I got lilac in the bottle and soap on the body. I don't hate lilac, but not what I was expecting. Soap, on the other hand... makes me cry. It was the first scent that went soapy on me, and I'm dissapointed that it did.

    Persephone

In the bottle: The rose and the pomegranate are perfectly balanced; neither one is stronger than the other. A little sweet, a little sharp and tangy, a little flowery. Wet on skin: Kinda faint on my skin, but everything is still in balance. Drydown (3 minutes): I smell the pomegranate more than the rose now, and the scent is stronger on me now than it was initially. Drydown (5 minutes): Well, this one hasn’t really changed much since I put it on... Overall impression: A scent kinda like me: shy at first, doesn’t want to say much, but once it’s settled down, it really expresses itself. A soft scent, to be put on when I’m feeling girly. I can’t even work of the ambition to express any masculine traits while smelling this. I was afraid this was going to be relegated to room scenting, since it started out so faint, but it surprised me. It also didn’t really change at all on me when it dried.

    Lady MacBeth

My first review! In the bottle: Oh, the wine! Wine and berries, yum. A very fruity smell. Can’t really smell the thyme. Wet on skin: I’m smelling a bit of the thyme, I think. It comes through a bit more. Still very wine and berry. Drydown (3 minutes): Very berry to me. Everything else seems to have gone away. That makes me a bit sad. Drydown (5 minutes): The thyme came back to play with the berries. The wine seems to be a distant note now, watching the thyme and berries from afar. Overall Impression: A very sweet scent with a bit of an herby kick. I like it very much, as I favor sweeter scents. I may have to order a bigger bottle of this one.
