    Silk Road

Umm, Play-doh mingled with a lovely spicy sweet scent?? I just read one of the reviews and it mentioned aromatic rice. It does kind of smell like that. Later, it dries down to dough. Dumpling dough. What the heck? What happened to that lovely scent I could smell underneath the Play-doh during the wet stage? I guess this is what I get for coveting a scent based on the description. Will retest, as I'm determined to like this. Edit: Retested and no longer get the wet dumpling dought scent. Now it's purely aromatic rice. It's a pleasant smell, but not something I want to smell like.

    Red Devil

This starts out as a very red scent--but a sweet cherry candy red rather than a spicy devilish red. It is somewhat spicy in that it prickles my nose, but it doesn't smell spicy. There's cinnamon and cloves and something edible-smelling in here. It smells very familiar, but I can't place it. This stays sweet and smooth on me until it turns into a nondescript generic soap-like scent. Not for me.

    Hades

I don't get any florals from this at all. It's rather herbal and ...murky. It kind of reminds me of Feu Follet in feel. I agree with the poster who said it was a strange, herby, metallic smell. I'm underwhelmed by this. ETA: This turns totally powdery on me.

    Goneril

This is similar to Kostnice, except sweeter. Perhaps because of the orchid? It starts out as sweet cedar. After a while, the florals come out and play. It remains more floral than cedar for a bit, but ultimately dries down to mostly cedar. A pleasant but unremarkable scent.

    Kostnice

The drydown to this smells remarkably similar to Goneril. At first, I thought it was the cedar, but that's not listed as a note. Perhaps it's the geranium, since that's a note both have in common? (I have no idea what geranium smells like.) This is dry and woody and yet gentle at the same time. It's a very calm scent. I don't smell any incense, but there's a faint grassy floral underneath the woodiness. This gets a bit soapy after a while and reminds me of dryer sheets. Overall, I like this, but not enough for a bottle. I also like it better than Goneril, which is a bit sweeter.

    Laudanum

In the imp: Holy burning rubber, Batman! Wet: Why hello there, root beer. Dry: Really medicinal at first, but it mellows out. It sweetens up just the right amount and I'm left with subtly sweet spicy smoke. It makes me think of an antique wood cabinet. Overall: I really like this one. It smells much better on me than in the imp. However, I'm not sure if this is a smell that other people will appreciate on me.

    The Caterpillar

This one is intoxicating. The jasmine and neroli dominate completely at first, but they retreat as it dries down. I would have loved it if it had remained a heady floral all the way through. The drydown, though also nice, is completely different. I don't get much incense out of this one. It's more of a warm and fuzzy rich green scent. It's hard to describe, but I like this one a lot. Edit: What was I saying? There's definitely incense in here. Lovely floral incense.

    Xiuhtecuhtli

This is gorgeous. I can smell the orange blossom and plumeria right off. This is a creamy and sweet floral. Very lush and smooth. This is not at all what I was expecting from the description, but I like it. I actually picked this one out because I love incense, but I don't get any incense from it at all. Regardless, it's a gorgeous floral. Definitely keeping this one. I happened to be testing The Caterpillar at the same time as this one and I found them to be similar in drydown. In drydown, this is like the sweeter, higher pitched cousin of The Caterpillar.

    Persephone

Sweet and juicy. This is much fruitier than I expected. I don't smell much rose. The fruitiness makes me think of apples more than pomegranates. I wish the rose had come out more on me. This is way too sweet on me all through drydown, so I won't be keeping this one.

    Czernobog

I wish the scent description had mentioned the civet. I try to avoid civet blends because they tend to become pure civet on me. I liked the way this smelled in the imp and when wet. Kind of fresh but earthy at the same time. Lime over a dark musk base. This scent fought valiantly with the civet for a short while, but, unsurprisingly, the civet won out.

    Florence

Apparently I'm the only one who thinks this smells like Thierry Mugler's Angel. A sweeter, juicier, and less toxic Angel. I'll be keeping this one.

    Danse Macabre

Dark, green, and musty. Very spicy/peppery at first. It makes me think of a dank cellar in a long-abandoned house. Not exactly pleasant. Later on, this morphs into a spicy wood scent. It's now dry and musty instead of dank and musty. Makes me think of a library. While it's better in the dry stage, I don't think I want to smell like this.

    La Petite Mort

This is pure powder on me. Where's my ylang ylang and myrrh? *grumble*

    Blood Kiss

Whoa, this is sweet. In bottle/wet, I get a strong whiff of almonds... which isn't in the scent description. I assume it's the cherry. I also get a fleeting whiff of chocolate?? Dry, it smells like honey and cherries. Very edible. A big no for me, but this would be a great scent for you if you're into smelling like dessert.

    Inferno

First impression: maraschino cherries. This was not at all what I expected something called Inferno to smell like. Incredibly sweet cinnamon, reminiscent of Big Red gum. It turns into tolerably sweet cinnamon when it dries down. There's something bright in here that gives the cinnamon lift. Overall, not bad, but not my kind of thing.

    The Black Tower

It's really sharp and alcoholic in the vial. On my skin, it mellows and sweetens a bit. I can smell an undercurrent of something green. The ivy, I assume. This is surprisingly bright and warm when it dries down completely. It turns into an interesting blend of ozone and fruity leather. I'm glad I tried this one out. Sniffing the imp, I thought I would hate this, but it's quite nice. My only complaint is that it's a bit too sweet.

    Satyr

This smells like minty green civet to me. The scent has a sharp edge to it. I'm kind of iffy on civet. I don't think it smells terrible on me, but I do think it comes out a little too strongly.

    Juke Joint

The mint is very strong when sniffing the vial. Wet, it smells like alcohol and mint. As it dries, chocolate overtones come out briefly. This dries down to a warm and comforting woody mint smell. I like the drydown, but the scent doesn't seem to last very long for me.

    Suspiro

This is gender neutral?? It's a very sweet floral on me. I couldn't imagine a guy wearing it. Soft, pretty white florals. I don't smell any jasmine, which is a shame because I love jasmine. Overall, too feminine for me.

    Tiger Lily

Sweet, powdery floral. Pretty and light. Nice if you're into that kind of thing, but I'm not a big fan of sweet or powdery scents.

    Marquise de Merteuil

Stately, bold, aristocratic and cruel. Opulent galbanum and amber, glistening peach, and a bouquet of French florals, with a merciless undertone of jonquil and heartless vetiver. Sweet peach all the way through. It mellows a bit after drydown, but it's still peachy. I'm disappointed. I was hoping for something more "stately, bold, aristocratic and cruel."

    Languor

This starts off sweet, heavy, and rich. Definitely languorous. I think I smell mostly narcissus and opium. How odd. I could have sworn that the drydown was powdery and reminiscent of Lush's Silky Underwear, but I just retested it and, nope, it's just very sweet--almost cloying. I think I prefer the phantom version I misremembered.

    Feu Follet

I can't pick out the jasmine or the rose, so I guess I mostly smell the heliotrope? Regardless, this smells very much like a Chinese ointment called 10,000 Flowers Oil which is used for cuts and scrapes. It's not an unpleasant smell and it dries down to something a bit more floral, but it's not something I want to wear as perfume

    Delight

This is a pleasant but incoherent floral on me. Unfortunately, it gets more and more muddled with time. So... no.

    Pulse Points

Yikes. Sometimes the civet is on the verge of smelling wrong and gives it a nice kick. And sometimes the civet's way too strong and it smells really wrong. I don't think I'm going to take my chances on this as a regular perfume.
