    Belladonna

I liked this when I 1st sniffed it out of the bottle & loved it when I wore it. So deeply green & herby. I love a good green smell & this is the perfect one. I felt very earth motherish wearing it & felt all clucky & strong.

    New Orleans

I know this'll sound tragically gawth, but it really did make me think of New Orleans in an Anne Rice way. Heady, sticky sweet, intoxicating & draws you in totally & you have to just let go & let the smell take you where it wants. This would be a good smell here in Oz in summer where it gets all hot & sticky as this is a sexy smell but in a sweaty-semi clad body on a dancefloor kind of sexy. Not refined just a "come & get it" kind of sexiness. One you have to surrender to & it washes over you. Bit cloying for me but in the right mood, on the right type of day It'd be the only choice of fragrance for me.

    Venice

My mother swooped on this being Venetian herself & We adore it. Fresh and floral with a herby depth. Makes me think of a Venetian coutesan during the Renaissance when it was an independant state, full of colour & intrigue. It really captured the city at that time, powerfull, influential yet with a big sense of fun & excitment, and maybe just a little hot-headed!

    Zombi

This is amazing. The description is dead on (no pun intended!). I liked it as it made me imagine an old Victorian graveyard that looks slightly sinister, with blood red dried roses blowing across damp earth. gave this one to boy as he has a thing about zombies so guess that makes this unisex?

    Bacchanalia

I really wanted to like this one, given I'm fond of a drink or two! But unfortunatley you are right about the grape smell, and being half Italian I grew up around vine upon vine of said grapes & I never liked the smell then & still don't. I tried to like it, but I couldn't get past the grap factor.

    Bruja

That starnge VV as I, like you, am ga-ga for Haunted yet Bruja went yuky on me. Went sickeningly sweet & then dried down to an almost sweaty smell?! Yikes! Mind you, my Mum & sister like it & it smells fine on them.

    Endymion

I agree. This one's just plain lovely. It's fresh without being a crisp biting fresh, more a soft fresh, think fresh white sheets still warm from the sunshine after you've brought them in & with the smell of a spring breeze on them. The pear in this is lovely, not sweet at all. Very soft but also very unisex as my Uncle was here when I got it & he fell in love with the smell too.

    Maiden

You as well!!!! I got a major nostaligia trip wearing this. I just ordered a big bottle of it. It's so feminine, but with definite sexy undercurrent. The kind of innocent sexy, like when you first start flirting with boys, rather than a womanly brash sexiness. This is gorgeous.

    Haunted

Haunted is one of my all time faves. I adore it. Cutting & pasting the reviw I gave it over on Gothauctions here (excuse cross-posting but saves me retyping!) Haunted: Like smelling a cloud on a balmy Aussie summer twilight, when the sky is all pink & purple with lightning cracking between it. Feel: warm, like being enveloped in a warm cloud Looks: dusky purple clouds. Tastes: vanilla & spice- not sweet vanilla either, but proper fresh black pods on a shelf next to cinnamon sticks

    Aureus

And here I thought I was the only one who wasn't keen on it! I am normally a heady/spicy/oriental smell girl so naturally I was drawn to this. It went horrid on me. It smelt sticky & reminded me of church smoke, which is fine in small doses (like the feint hint of it you get in Noir) but when it's this strong it just gave me a headache. Reminded me of the smell of a bushfire- burning gum trees & spice. My sister grabbed it & loves it. Smells much lighter & less cloying on her, so to each their own I guess? :?

    Snake Oil

All Hail Snake Oil! So deceptively sexy! It is one of my faves by far. I got a sample with my 1st order as Elizabeth said I'd get it whether I wanted it or not & that I would not be disappointed. How right she was. First time I wore it was to uni & I had people coming up to me & asking what it was, I had men opening doors for me & got so many looks from the opposite sex! This works a treat with men. Wore it once when out with Red & I was mauled the minute I walked in the door! What is it with men & sweet/foodie smells?! (Not that I'm complaining!)

    Twilight

This was one my sister got & she loves it. It's very pretty & most definitely a floral. I tried it on my wrist the other day & it was delicate-girly. I'd put it in the same category as Old New Orleans but it's not quite as sultry as that one, if you like Old New Orleans, then you'll like this as it'a a slighly lighter & more fragile version of that kind of floral blend. It made me think of a yellow-orange & pink sunset.

    Oneiroi

I'm a Oneiroi fan too. A good summer eve smell. It was revoltingly hot 2 weeks ago & I wore this as it was refreshing yet sexy at the same time.

    Seraglio

Well, I'm thinking of passing my sample vial along as it smelt lovely & marzipany out of the bottle but went sickly sweet on my skin. Think there's a similar one ingredients-wise that I may try instead to see. Shame, as I really wanted to like it, but my skin had other ideas.

    Bewitched

I love Bewitched. It goes only slightly berry-ish on me, it's a very deep green/dark purple smell on me. I get images of a group of witches or dark faeries dressed in purple playing in a dark forrest at sunset. It's quite lovely, have to hide it from my sister. Not one I would normally have gone for, but it works with my skin.
