O
in Ars Amatoria
At first, I didn't want to try O at all and then I ordered an imp for a friend and just wanted to grab a sniff before I sent it off to her. Needless to say, it kind of never made it to her.
Now, though... I love this scent. Plain and simple.
From the bottle until it wears off or I wash it off, I get a sweet, but not overpowering, slightly vanilla'ed honey and warm skin. I like that it's not overly complex - I think that may be part of the reason why it works so well for me. It has great staying power - it's been lasting about 18 - 24 hours each time I apply it with no real change in the scent - it basically just fades away and then it's done.
Really, really love this one - it is truly my favorite and has quickly become my daily scent.

In the bottle, this smells wonderful - honeyed floral to my nose, not too sweet or flowery.
Initially on, it retains that scent but after about 20 minutes, it's gotten a really sweet, really sharp thing going on and reminds me of some commercial scent I've tried bedore and it's kind of giving me a headache. I was hoping for more of the honey to come out but on me, it does't seem to be so.
Into the swap/ sale pile it must go.

What a nice scent!
In the bottle, I get a slightly peachy-apricot-y scent. Not to sweet or overpowering.
On, the scent has basically stayed the same all day - at most, it has gotten a tiny bit powdery since I put it on 12 hours ago. Great staying power.
I will definitely note that since I wore this scent today, I was in a far better mood than I've been in (at work) in a long time. My cat and dog like the smell of it, too - the cat, who is stand-offish sometimes, spent a good 5 minutes going over the smell of my right hand and wrist and arm.
I bought a big bottle of this on a whim and I'm glad I did - a very happy, clean, not too fruit-laden scent!

In the bottle, this has absolutely no scent to me.
On, it has a fresh, clean, herbally green scent to it. It's very gentle, though, and not in the least overpowering nor too green. I have as yet to try it out in terms of attracting the husbandly one to me - will see if that works and come back.
This is definitely one I'll be getting a big bottle of.

In the imp, this was a tiny bit sour with something spicy behind it.
First on, it was very earthy, almost dirty, and the myrrh was so warm - it's a little sweet but maybe like honey-sweet and not sugary-sweet. It's also a tiny bit fruity but not overwhelmingly so.
As it dried, the myrrh kind of took over and it went back to the slightly spicy-honey-sweet scent.
Overall, it's a very earthy, warm, sensual scent and absolutely gorgeous. I got more compliments on this today than on any scent I've ever worn before, BPAL or otherwise. Big bottle is definitely in my next order!

Oh, the cinnamon and honey love!
In the bottle and for the last 10 hours, I've had the same, amazing honeyed cinnamon scent. It's sweet without being crazy sweet and just a tiny smidge of spicy - very warm and sensual. Toward the end, here, it's gotten the tiniest bit powdery but it gives a nice softness overall.
For those who are sensitive to cinnamon - this is definitely one to be careful of. I was red for a while but it did go away after about a half hour.

In the bottle, this is very strong caramel.
First on, it's carmel and coconut. Very sweet and strong to the point of making my mouth water! The sweetness and caramel went into the background very quickly and the tobacco scent came forward. At this point, I have been sitting here for not sure how long with my wrist pressed to my nose. This is such an interesting scent. Very sensual and rich without being too overpowering.
Yum!

Wow. Just wow.
This is a truly deep and sensual scent; the name is very fitting and then some!
Somewhat boozy and musky to me in the bottle, when I put it on, it's got a Snake Oil thing going on - and I thought of Tootsie Rolls, too, once it's been worn for a little bit, because it has a slightly chocolately tone to it, too, for me.
I think this is one to wear to get someone's attention - it's strong but not overpoweringly so, and it's got a great presence. And at the same time, it's comforting in a familiar way but also very, very alluring.
Great blend!
I'm seriously contemplating ordering a second bottle. Hot stuff!

In the bottle, I get something kind of herbal. First on, it smells like cinnamon and a dash of chocolate - sweet and spicy. After a little while, the spice has disappeared and right now it seems to have gone all the way to greenish herbal with a tiny bit of fruit behind it. Very earthy and sensual - definitely going on my *big bottle* list.

Wow.
This is very soft and definitely aquatic in the bottle.
On me, at first, it was a little weird but slowly became tangy and fresh. What it really reminds me of is being outside in the spring on the first really warm day after it's rained gently for a little while. Very clean and pure without being too sweet or overpowering.
Love it.

Holy Sweet Tarts!
In the bottle and on, even now about 16 hours later, this smells exactly like Sweet Tarts on me.
This is something I'd like in a bubble bath or shower gel maybe but probably not as a regular scent. A wee bit too sweet and strong for me.

In the bottle, I get tea and citrus - very light and fresh. A very unusual scent.
First applied, it is very stong, very citrusy and the tea is evident. I'm not sure my skin likes this very much at this point.
After about an hour, it's mostly citrus with a little of something woody underneath - while it was really strong before, at this point, it's started to calm down and be very clean and warm and green. I like this stage a lot.
After about 3 hours, it's a slightly citrusy scent with something powdery beneath it.
Not sure about this one yet. I'm hoping that maybe the Aizen-Myoo that was lingering from this morning was interfering with the actual scent of Holiday Moon. I really like it but I'm not sure I can handle it enough to get past the very strong, almost overpowering scent when it's first on.
Back when I do a do-over.

I don't get the scent as described at all and spent a good chunk of the day trying to figure out what I smelled like.
After poking through this thread, I figured it out.
Both in the bottle and just applied, this smells like Love's Baby Soft to me. After about an hour of wear, it is even more powdery and a tiny bit spicy.
I'll likely give it another try to see if the results are the same though if they are I think it'll be one for those rare occasions of nostalgia.

This delicate, spectral perfume gives rise to an eerie distortion of of the senses. It bestows an ephemeral, ghostly, and truly haunting quality to your presence. Green tea, lemon verbena, jasmine and neroli.
I really, really didn't like this when I opened the bottle and first put it on. I thought I was getting a whiff of a dirty diaper. Almost rushed to the bathroom to wash it off but I re-sniffed my arm after a couple minutes and it was totally different. Sweet but not too sweet Jasmine tea and a tiny bit of a lemony scent coming through. Very girly and summertime warm weather. Soothing, too. After a while, a slightly powdery scent mixed in with the jasmine tea and lemon but it's not obtrusive and kind of actually works with the scent overall.
This is the first scent where I not only could discern most of the notes very clearly but I could also smell the changes in it as it met up with my body chemistry.
I like - this is a definite possibility for a big bottle -
This smells wonderful in the bottle - fruity and a little sweet but not too much so.
On me, it's a disaster to the point of nearly making me ill. It immediately lost the fruit scent and went kind of... Not sure how to describe it. Dirty and musky but not in a good way.
One for the swap pile for me.

I love, love, love Velvet. More than Bliss which, to my chocolate-loving brain, is somewhat unfathomable. My first thought was that Velvet is the grown up older sister of Bliss.
The scent of chocolate is what I get in the bottle, when I fist put it on and basically until the scent completely fades away - and over 12 hours later, this is just now happening. With my chemistry, the scent remains essentially the same all the way through, which I really like.
I also like that it's not an overpoweringly sweet chocolate scent - it has a slight bitterness like dark chocolate has and the sandalwood and myrrh add a great warmth overall without altering the scent too much from the bitter chocolate.
This is definitely on my list for a big bottle with my next lab order.

I opened the bottle and wanted to love this - very much a smoky, hairspray scent over the top of a good glass of champagne.
When I put it on, it immediately went very sweet and fruity-juicy. Very strong and sweet and very much like something else I've smelled before, though I can't put my finger on it.
And then after about 20 minutes, I got hives.
Rrrr.
So I had to wash it off. Sad. It has great potential.

Aizen-Myoo
in Excolo
In the bottle, I get a very clean, citrusy scent. First applied, the same kind of scent, though the cherry blossom becomes evident very quickly. After a few hours, it's mostly cherry blossom with a tiny bit of citrus behind it. I don't get much of the tea but the scent that it does develop to on me is one I really like a lot. Very unusual and clean and extremely wearable. I like this one a lot and I'll be ordering a big bottle of it shortly

This doesn't really smell on me like what most other reviews describe. At first I thought maybe my imp was mislabeled but then I saw another review that mentioned a soapy kind of scent - and that's what I got - a very clean, soft, soapy scent that hung around for a really long time today. A very skin-scented scent, if that makes any sense at all. Toward the end, I did notice a slight hint of something citrus but it was still mostly a very clean, crisp yet warm scent. It's the kind of thing I like to smell when I get close to someone - I would love it if my husband smelled like this. *adds Delirium to big bottle wishlist*

I get a very strong ginger orange scent both on the bottle and as soon as it hits my skin. After about a half hour, the orange is still there bit the ginger has died down into something herbalish. After 3 hours, the scent is almost completely workn off, though there is a little leftover orange floating around. I kind of like it - it gave me energy when I put it on and I really had none this morning. I do wish it had lasted a little longer but that's my only gripe - other than this is what I wish my house could smell like all the time.
-
Wet, I had a strong sense of mustard - very sharp and tangy. Wasn't sure it would wear during the day.
As it dried, it became the scent of rain and being outside and grass and here and there a tiny little trickle of the original sharp scent.
Not something I would wear every day but it definitely gave me a boost of energy when I put it on this morning and I'll try it again to see if I get the same mustardy scent at the beginning.

It took me a few tries before I got the mint in this but now, both in the bottle and first when I put it on, I get a sweet, herbal definite mint thing going on. Very subtle. It changed on my skin after not too long of wearing it and the mint dissipated and I was left with herbs and a general green scent. After a little while longer, it went powdery. I like the scent a lot but the staying power was somewhat lacking.

Just even a tiny whiff of Bliss works wonders if I wake up on the wrong side of the bed or I know the day is going to be hellish. Mmm
Honey Moon

In the bottle, this is lemon tea to me.
First on, I was a little scared as it took a slightly... I don't know how else to say this but a slightly urine-y scent.
After about 15 minutes, though, that went away and the honey started to come out. It's a decent mix of honey and jasmine on me, though in comparison to O (which I was hoping this was like, only more amplified in terms of the scent of honey), Honey Moon is more powdery.
As it has worn on, it's still jasmine and honey, more jasmine than anything - if I didn't know what the notes were, though, I would say that it does still smell like a strong, hot cup of tea with lemon and honey in it. For that alone, it's worth the outrageous price I paid for a big bottle of it
