1. I freely admit that I bummed an imp of this off a friend simply because I had to try a perfume called "Perversion". I wasn't sure how it would work on me, and I was pleasantly surprised when it turned into something sweet with a sharper edge. The tonka definitely is the strongest note on me, and it definitely gets people's attention! :P

  2. This turns into a sort of sickly-sweet candy scent on me rather, so rather than reminding me of any sort of afterglow, I think of being stuck in a candy shop while the fumes overwhelm my senses. Not necessarily a bad scent, but not one I'll get a large bottle of either.

  3. While Scherezade, a similar blend, is just nice on my skin, Bathsheba is an amazingly sweet and spicy concoction that makes my senses tingle and people around me sniff the air eagerly. I don't know which note works so amazingly well with my body chemistry, but this was the first large bottle I purchased from the lab. :P

  4. When I first sniffed Magdalene, I wasn't convinced there was much scent at all coming from my imp, but I lightly swathed a little oil on. While wet I got a strong floral blend that was a little overwhelming for my sinuses and nose, but it dries down to a lovely light smell that I can easily use for an everyday perfume.

  5. In the imp my nose loved Sin, and Sin loved me right back. Unfortunately, the minute I put it on my skin, the black patchouli amped up significantly and nauseated me and gave me a headache. Oh well...at least I can enjoy sniffing the remainder of my imp.

  6. I was hoping this would be a nice rose scent on me, but instead I smell like one of those fancy guest bathroom soaps, the ones that have more soap smell than the scent and are sculpted to look like seashells and whatnot.

I think I might be able to use the rest of my imp as a room scent, but it doesn't work on my skin.*sighs*

  7. I really had high hopes for Scherezade given how many forumites absolutely love the scent. When I first put it on, the only smell I got was something very dark and woody (probably the patchouli). After it dried I got a bit of a warmer, spicy scent, but it's not anything for me to write home about. It was just...nice. I expected to be wowed.

I'll let it sit for a while and try it again to see if there's any difference, but I suspect this one just isn't for me. :P

  8. I have to join the crowd getting pure, unadulterated wintergreen from this scent. I love the smell, but it really wasn't what I was looking for a woodsy scent.

I'll use the rest of the imp I have, but I don't think I'll be rushing out for a big bottle any time soon.
