In the vial: resinous and sweet. Not a dark resinous scent.

Wet: sweet incense, tobacco, and a hint of old book dust.

Dry: A lovely scent that is more masculine than I was expecting.

In the vial: This smells like an expensive chocolate dessert.

Wet: iodine!

Dry: chocolate-y, spicy, musky and lovely. The spicy and oriental notes continue to evolve as I wear this. After thirty minutes this blend is absolutely intoxicating and divine.

In the vial: booze and sweet tobacco.

Wet: booze, tobacco and bay rum.

Dry: the bourbon seems to have flashed off and the remainder is chocolately tobacco with a hint of bay rum. A bit too masculine for me, but I think this would be great on a man who does not want to wear a "cologne-y" scent.

In the vial: luscious gooey caramel.

Wet on skin: caramel, a hint of cinnamon, woodsiness of sandalwood.

Dry: This scent is a morpher. It started out as caramel and cinnamon, then the sweet tobacco and sandalwood come out. The patchouli stayed in the background and gave this scent lovely depth. The throw is really strong and the scent is long lasting. I will have to test this a few more times to decide if I need a big bottle.

In the vial: cherry blossom, lilly and mint.

Wet: lilly and mint.

Dry: lilly and mint. The tea never did come out to play, unfortunately.

In the vial: Bay rum

Wet: Bay rum, orris, and a hint of tobacco.

Dry: floral (I assume it is the lilac), Bay rum, orris, and tobacco. A very interesting blend and I'm happy that I got to try it.

In the vial: deep resin, opulent floral with a hint of tangerine. There is also a hint of green-ness. Is that the kush?

Wet: Resinous and femine. Florals are usually not my friends, but the opium smoke and other notes are tempering the jasmine nicely.

Dry: This is uber sexay. I must have a big bottle, stat !

In the vial: crushed lavender with a hint of fruity sweetness.

Wet: blackberries sweetened with sugar.

Dry: this scent is all blackberry on me. It is a wonderful scent, but I think I will try it in my oil burner rather than using it as perfume.

In the imp: vanilla, sassafrass, a hint of cedar.

Wet: dusty trails. After a couple of minutes, the vanilla starts to come back, which is a good thing.

Dry: High Noon is one of my favorite movies and this is the scent that Gary Cooper's character would have worn. This is a scent that is sexy without trying. It might be a bit masculine for me to wear out of the house, but I think I will indulge my cowboy fantasy and buy a bottle in the near future

In the imp: spicy citrus and a hint of musk.

Wet on skin: very lemon-y Not bad, but not what I was expecting. After a few minutes a sour note, perhaps musk, started to overwhelm everything else.

Dry: this blend morphed into a pleasant spicy, light musk. While this scent isn't "me" I am happy that I had an opportunity to try it.

I love the color of this oil; it is the color of green tourmaline. That said, since it is green I was afraid that it would contain pine or fir, neither of which agree with me, so this imp has been sitting in the imp pile for awhile.

In the imp: musk and a hint of patchouli spiciness.

Wet on skin: very manly musk.

Dry: manly musk with a wee bit of patchouli. This blend is too masculine for me, but I think it would be drop-dead sexay on the right person.

In the vial: plummy with a hint of red wine.

Wet on skin: very sweet grapes and cherries.

Dry: Oh, dear. This blend is very sweet, yet there is something sour trying to come through, too. I wore this scent for only about twenty minutes before I had to wash it off.

I adore the poem, so I had to try an imp of this blend.

In the imp: green, floral and something sweet. Perhaps the green fig?

Wet: Lilly of the Valley.

Dry: This may as well be a Lilly of the Valley SN on me.

In the imp: slighty smoky floral.

Wet: Oh, there is my friend myrrh

Dry: I was afraid that this would be too floral for me, but the myrrh and opium come out as the oil dries down. This is gorgeous and perfect for winter.

In the imp: amber and a hint of pomegranate.

Wet on skin: a beautiful warm scent, mainly amber and pomegranate. Perhaps a tiny bit of musk?

Dry: Gorgeous! Moderate throw, I just wish it lasted longer on my skin. Big bottle ahoy!

In the imp: lavender and a floral background.

Wet: lavender and rose. Very pretty. Maybe I've found a rose blend that I can wear! O_o. Here comes the jasmine.

Dry: Jasmine has stomped the life out of any other notes in the oil. I am sad because this is such a pretty scent.

In the vial: damp earth with a hint of smoke in the distance.

wet: this reminds me of peat smoke.

dry: an intresting scent, but not one that I would wear as perfume.

This scent was a gamble for me. Musk, Patchouli, and Myrrh=Love. Rose, Ylang-Ylang, and Civet= Unfortunately for me the rose and civet won, but I can imagine this scent being drop-dead sexy on the right person.

In the vial: primarily sage.

Wet: sage, a wee hint of lavender, blackberries.

Dry: blackberry and an aldehyde that reminds me of Chanel No. 5. This is an interesting blend, but not quite "me."

In the vial: this reminds me of fermented pears.

Wet: still fermented pears.

Dry: after about an hour this blend blossomed into the scent of lovely, fresh ripe pears. Not a favorite, but I'm happy that I got to try it.

In the vial: sweet vanilla and rum.

Wet: rum and vanilla. Still quite sweet.

Dry: Oh, I have done the unthinkable and fallen in love with a hard-to-find LE. After this oil dries down it becomes warm, spicy vanilla.

I was a bit afraid of smelling like a protoplasmic creature full of pustules, but the notes sounded delightful, so I decided to give it a go.

In the vial: lime and perhaps lemongrass.

Wet: lime is still the dominant note, but the peony is starting to come out.

Dry: finally the green coconut is coming out and perhaps the musk. This is a citrus, tropical floral scent that is grounded by something dark and sinister. I will keep my imp and may order a bottle for warm weather use.

I swapped for this scent because I was feeling adventurous. I would never have ordered it on my own because of, well, the name

In the vial: cedar, and a fresh herbal scent.

Wet: this scent morphed into a lovely, lush floral that I can wear. Not too cloying or sweet.

Dry: I get a lovely dark floral note that must be grounded by the cedar to prevent it from becoming too sharp. This is really lovely! I will enjoy my imp and I may consider a big bottle

In the vial: Violets, with a green note and a hint of moss.

Wet: Violets.

Dry: This is a very pretty violet scent, however I did not get any of the tree scents that I was expecting.

Leather and tea are two of my favorite notes, so I'd been itching to try this for a while.

In the imp: bergamot and tea.
