    Sea of Glass

In the vial: green and aquatic. On: Green, ozone, freesia. This smells like my garden after an early summer rain shower. Delicious and one of my new favorites! A definite big bottle purchase.

    The Lady of Shalott

In the vial: gardenia! Wet: gardenia. Too much gardenia! I had to wash this off before it had a chance to dry. I had high hopes for this because ginger is one of my favorite notes, yet I did not get any ginger at all.

    Arachne

In the vial: soft floral and herbs. Wet: Oh, now there is some lovely spiciness mixing with the floral note and the herbs. Dry: This oil blends together so well that it is difficult for me to pick out individual notes. Subtle, unique, and very beautiful. I really like this and have added it to my Top Ten. A definite big bottle purchase for me!

    Zephyr

In the vial: soft white florals and lemon. Wet: Vanilla, white floral, soft musk. Dry: All of the scents dry down nicely together. Moderate throw and long lasting.

    Embalming Fluid

In the vial: lemony freshness. Wet: lemon and tea. Dry: The lemon is still quite strong, but now there is a subtle musk scent that is helping to ground the lemon. I wish the tea note was stronger. Still, a very lovely scent. I rate it a 4/5.

    O

In the vial: honey, vanilla, and soft floral notes. Wet: Oh, my. This is strong! Maybe I should say potent. Delicious honey vanilla. Dry: The honey note toned down once the oil dried and it is now the most luscious vanilla. It isn't just plain vanilla, but vanilla deepend by something very naughty. I will be getting more of this, but I won't be wearing it to the office

    Queen of Sheba

In the vial: Benzaldehyde! Wet: Still benzaldehyde. Dry: Honey roasted almonds. Alas, not for me.
  8. Alchemy21599

    Velvet

In the vial: Milk chocolate with almonds! Wet: Chocolate and nuts. Good enough to eat! Dry: The scent morphs amazingly. The vanilla comes out along with the sandalwood. The myrrh provides lovely depth while the chocolate fades in to the background. Very long lasting, too. My rating: 4/5.

    Mars

In the bottle: sandalwood, mild cinnamon, and lilacs. Gee, I wasn't expecting this to be floral, at all! Wet: Mild cinnamon and those lilacs! I love the fact that the oil is red, like the planet Mars. Dry: Lilacs! I have to wash this off. I was not expecting the lusty god of war to smell like lilacs.

    Bewitched

In the vial: green tea, herbs and a touch of sweetness. Pretty! Wet: berries with a medicinal undertone. What happened to the tea? Dry: the medicinal smell is becoming unpleasant. I have to wash this off. This is the second time I've tested this with the same results.

    Scherezade

I've been looking for an uber sek-say, throw-me-down scent and I am hoping this will be it. In the vial: warm, exotic spices and my good friend, red patchouli. Wet: the lovely spices went away and the scent became very powdery. Dry: this scent stayed powdery. Not what I was hoping for.

    Sleepy Moon

In the bottle: spicy and sweet at the same time. It was difficult to distinguish individual notes. Wet: very sweet, with lots of throw. I was not expecting this to be so sweet. Dry: at first this blend remained very sweet and cloying. After about an hour the spiciness came out and the sweetness retreated. I like this better the longer that I wear it.

    The Apothecary

In the vial: oh, tea and ginger goodliness! Wet: tea, ginger, and... amber? Dry: definately tea and giner with complex herbalness. Perhaps oakmoss? I really like this blend. I think it is Kumiho's big cousin from the city. Subtle, but complex and long lasting. A big bottle purchase for me.
  14. Alchemy21599

    The Dormouse

In the imp: fresh and green with a breath of light floral. Wet: Even lovlier than in the imp. Tea freshness sweetened by a touch of peony. Dry: This is one of my Top Tens! It is beautiful, yet subtle enough to wear everyday, even in a conservative office setting. I will be ordering a big bottle!

    Sin

I received this as lovely frimage from the Lab In the vial: the liquid is dark and viscous. Mmmm, patchouli! The scent is deeper than just patchouli. Kind of dry woodsy. Wet: Wow! Now the cinnamon is very strong. Now the sandalwood is fighting with the cinnamon. Dry: The sandalwood has won. I think this scent is Omen's big brother. Sin is a great scent, but there is too much sandalwood for me. I think Sin would be a great scent for a man.

    White Rabbit

Strong black tea and milk with white pepper, ginger, honey and vanilla, spilled over the crisp scent of clean linen. Oh, I've been waiting for this one since tea and ginger are two of my favorite notes. In the imp: tea and sharp spiciness. Nice! Wet: What happened?! My wonky body chemistry has turned this into melted plastic, specifically, melted Tupperware. Dry: The plastic smell just gets stronger. I must wash this off! I am glad that I got a chance to try this.

    Red Lantern

In the bottle: caramel and coconut with the tiniest hint of booziness. Did I accidently open an old bottle of Captain Morgan? Wet: Caramel, coconut and some distant spiciness. Much sweeter than I expected. Dry: After about an hour, the other notes come out to play. I love the tobacco and the spiciness. Back in the day I would have worn this for clubbing, sans doubt. Oh, when I wear this I can just imagine Samuel Tayer Coleridge reclining in an opium den doing his, um, research. I like this scent, but it isn't something that I would wear every day.

    Ulalume

I received this as a frimp from the Lab In the vial: hmmm, smells like pine based cleanser. Wet: eeep! The dirt smell! Also, fir and other foresty scents. Dry: The dirt smell lasts only a short while. The leafy, fir and other forest scents faded slowly leaving a soft floral in their place. This scent really morphed on me. I don't think I will order a big bottle, but I will enjoy the imp since this is such an interesting scent.

    Penthus

I received this as a frimp from the Lab In the vial: a delicate white floral blend. Wet: Roses! Eeep! Dry: This has dried down very nicely. The rose was very strong at first, but now the other components are coming out. The rose scent was very strong for the first half-hour, but then it mellowed out. This is a very long lasting and pleasant scent. I don't know if I will buy a big bottle, but I will enjoy this imp.

    Baghdad

Amber, saffron and bergamot with mandarin, nutmeg, Bulgar rose, musk and sandalwood. I received this as a frimp from the Lab. In the vial: very difficult to pick out individual notes. A very pleasing, well blended scent. Wet: oh, very nice. The scent reminds me of one of my favorite Near East pastry shops. Warm, honey, and spicy with lovely depth. Dry: Slightly sweet warm spiciness. I think I smell sandalwood which helps it from becoming too sweet. After about 6 hours I am getting a vanilla note and the orange is an undertone. Really lovely. I will enjoy the imp and may purchase a big bottle.
  21. Alchemy21599

    Vixen

I was thrilled to receive this as a frimp from the Lab! In the vial: a much more subtle blend than I expected. Wet: again, much more subtle than expected. Where is the patchouli? I love patchouli! Dry: This scent smells like vanilla extract on me! I get the tiniest hint of ginger in the background. This is a very pleasant scent, but it doesn't make me feel like a Vixen. Still, I will have to take it for a road test to see how others react to it.
  22. Alchemy21599

    Lust

I received this imp from my Swich Witch. In the vial: musky, spicy and somewhat sweet. Wet: very strong patchouli, musk and spiciness. The spiciness must be the myrrh. Dry: Deep, feminine and very sek-say! Lots of throw. I think I get a tiny hint of vanilla undertone. This is an amazing and delicious scent! I must have a big bottle.

    Thirteen (13)

In the bottle: this smells exactly like a bitten Godiva madarin orange truffle. Wet: Still a bitten Godiva mandarin orange truffle. Dry: Initially, the bitten Godiva mandarin orange truffle. Very sweet. 1 hour: The tiniest hint of floral is begining to show, along with a hint of dirt. 2 hours: I am still getting the (dark!) chocolate and orange, but it is more subtle. A hint of musk is wafting through. The hint of iris and dirt has vanished. Tea works well on me and I have yet to smell any tea. This is an amazing scent in the way that it changes over time. Truly a shape shifter!

    Jabberwocky

This was a frimp from the lab. In the vial: eucalyptus cough drops. Hmm. I decide to put some on to see how it morphs. Wet: Eucalyptus, pine and citrus. Very strong throw. Dry: Eucalyptus, pine and citrus. This is not what I would chose as perfume, but I think it will be very useful as an aromatherapy scent for colds or allergies.
  25. Alchemy21599

    Mad Hatter

This was a gimp from the Lab. In the vial: Oh, nice. Leather, minty and musk. Gee, I would not have guessed that the Mad Hatter would smell this yummy! Wet: The mint is coming through more than the lavender or musk. Dry: Musky, leather and a hint of lavender. This would be luscious on a man.
