    Gingerbread Zombi

This is instant top ten for me too. I already love Zombi, and the spices give it such a delicious new dimension. The dirt and the roses smell edible, too. I bought a decant, and I'll be looking for a bottle.

    13 Nights of Halloween Answers

What are your thoughts on yarn and handmade yarny things? I don't knit, and wool makes me itch. If someone really wanted to knit me something with plant-based fibers ... socks, or a scarf, or even a trivet would be awesome. For bath and body products: do you have a bathtub or shower? Shower only for the moment. I still use bath oils in the shower, though. Dear Swappee: is there anything you might have forgotten to put on your survey? I want to be more active and in better shape; anything you can think of to help me have fun doing so is welcome. Are there any particular fandoms that you follow? I'm sort of a music nerd - it's my job and my hobby too. I get into trivia games, serious analysis, weird tangents, etc. (I don't know if this is "fandom", but it's as close as I get, I suppose.) Do you own a wax/oil burner? (If no, would you like one?) I don't, and can't have one. Would you like loose, fancy tea? Sure, or bagged, fancy tea. I like strong black teas plain or with bergamot or with chai spices. I also like tisanes like peppermint, hibiscus or spice blends. Just no chamomile or other daisy family plants. Incense, y/n? Not for me thanks. One of my cats is sensitive to incense, candles and wax/oil burner stuff. What is your favorite fall activity? It's my favorite time of the year to cook, when there's an abundance of fresh local vegetables and fruits, and it's not too hot in the kitchen. I also like road-tripping to see the changing leaves, playing indoor gigs, getting to know my new students, and doing more writing in the colder months. I'm in Japan, anything specifically Japanese-y you want? I'd like to try Sakuma Drops. And I like Japanese street fashion, anything quirky that's comfy. Please briefly describe (color, style, preferred type of beads) or provide a picture of (if it is suitable), the type of necklace (if any) you would be interested in getting. If you do not like necklaces, what kinds of jewelry (if any) would you want to wear? I might like a pretty stone or a re-purposed curiosity on a long silk/satin cord. I don't do well with beads or metal clasps. I only wear jewelry for special occasions. I think I said this in my questionnaire ... I find that most jewelry gets in my way. Medium/large earrings, hoops or dangly, could work. I have pierced ears, one regular size piercing each. I do like accessories to put up my (now butt-length) hair, if that counts. What about hot chocolate/malt drinks? I like fancy hot chocolate, and I love malt flavors. If you said that you are interested in books (or DVDs or any relatively big standalone sort of item), would you be okay with having multiples of such items spread over a couple of days, or would you prefer 13 distinct themish packages? As long as there's decent variety overall and you have fun finding stuff you think I'd like, do whatever ratio works! How into the day themeing mentioned in the first post are you? All themed? A few maybe if they are fun? Not at all? A few maybe if they are fun. Speaking of DVDs - are you interested in receiving movies and if so, what sort? Sure, maybe some brainy comedy or something Bollywood? Back to the books - if you said you would like books, would you prefer I send you, say, my favorite Halloween anthology or something else spooky/scary, or something off your wishlist/want-to-read on goodreads? Something off my goodreads list. Process question: Do you want to know who is sending to you right away, or would you prefer to be surprised on the last day, to the extent possible? Likewise, do you have a preference for specifically numbered packages or for reach in and grab according to your fancy? Surprise or not according to *your* fancy. I have a slight preference for specifically numbered packages, but won't be disappointed if you prefer not to number them. Would you be interested in solid perfume? What about lip balm? Yes to solid perfume. I love those little Pacifica tins; otherwise I'm not all that familiar with what's out there these days. I think I have all the lip balm I can use for awhile. There was a lot of mention of not wearing costumes/not being allowed to at workplaces. Would you be interested in goth style or Halloween-themed(pumpkins, ghosts, etc.) normal clothes to wear instead, and what would be suitable? My day-job persona is casual and subtly dressed. (I teach private piano lessons to people of all ages and walks of life.) My performing persona is more playful and dressed-up. Oh, and I should mention that in one of my bands I always wear Hawaiian shirts/dresses. If you can find anything that combines Hawaiian with goth style or Halloween themes, my hat is off to you! I'm going to Rose City Comic Con during the shopping window. Any exhibitors/vendors/comics/etc. you're particularly interested in? OMG THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE A GOONIES "NEVER SAY DIE" T-SHIRT! I AM TOTALLY GETTING THAT! Ahem. Yes. I mean... There are things! Are any of them particularly appealing to you and/or your inner twelve-year-old (mine is calling dibs on the Goonies stuff)? I've been out of the loop for awhile when it comes to comics and the surrounding culture -- totally open to being surprised, though. Day of the dead/ Dia de los Muertos stuff? I attended a party last year where I saw some amazing makeup and costumes. I'd also be into atole, pan de muerto, etc (just no alcohol). Does anything from this shop catch your eye? I'd be into any of these perfume samples: Autumnal Equinox, Autumn Heirloom, Ichabod Crane, Beguiling Violet, Doll Parts, Aloha'oe, Paniola. Dear Pumpkin: Do you have aversions to any animals or insects? As far as what's likely to come up in a Halloween swap, I had mentioned bats. Most insects don't bother me, with the exception of anything that stings. How do you feel about canned foods like jams and things along those lines? I'm open to it, especially if it's something I can't get locally. Do you have a favourite colour scheme? Blue and copper or anything along those lines. How do you feel about stickers (and stationery in general)? I can use stickers in my job. I'm a piano teacher and sometimes give stickers to my younger students to reward good efforts. How do we feel about fibercrafting (knit, crochet, etc.)? wearables? crafted critters? If you would like a scarf or something similar, would you like it to be themed, like fall colors, or have a skull or other halloweenie motif/border? Yes, but I'm very sensitive to anything itchy -- cotton, bamboo, hemp and/or silk are definitely okay. A scarf in fall colors would be lovely. What makes you feel pampered? Silk things, soft socks, good coffee brewing, hot showers, hair care, brunch with a Sunday paper, vacations. We've covered what critters you don't like, but what about the critters that you DO like? What are your favorite animals/creatures, real or imagined? I love cats most of all. I'm also fond of horses, deer, butterflies, and blue herons. Canadian stuff: I'd be into some maple syrup, or possibly some tzatziki flavored potato chips. Paintbox Soapworks: The Nihilist coconut-free soap looks good, as does the Whiskers solid scent balm. Is there is any TAZO tea you have a hankering for? Zen, Awake, Passion, China Green Tips, Vanilla Roibois, Calm, Refresh? (tea bags in a tin) Ooh, I like the Refresh. And the Wild Sweet Orange -- do they still make that? How about any Teavana tea? (loose leaf) The Maharajah Chai looks good. How about Starbucks coffee beans? If so, ground (and for what kind of filter) or whole bean? I'm okay for beans. How about Starbucks coffee via (italian, columbia, anniversary, vanilla latte?) or Iced coffee via (caramel or regular?) Fruit flavored via (berry hisbiscus, cool lime, strawberry lemonade?) Pumpkin Spice Latte via? Maybe a regular iced coffee for one of my busy days. Starbucks K-cups or Verismo pods? I don't use these. Coffee/tea travel mugs or ceramic home mugs? I'm set for these. Coffee maker (french press) or tea steeper? I could actually use a tea steeper. Or a one-cup tea ball. Anything else from Starbucks/Teavana? Syrups, honey, whatever? Maybe a hot chocolate mix? How would you feel about a gently-used card game? For example, something I may have purchased several years ago and maybe played with my daughter *twice* before she became a moody teenager, and too cool for card and/or board games? Sure. Alcoholic beverages in your goodies-- yay or nay-- if yay, what kind? I'm a non-drinker, but stuff to cook with is okay (e.g. sherry, marsala, etc.) CANDY CORN--- YAY OR NAY? Nay. Name at least one thing that you really wouldn't like to receive in your package. Glitter. I have eyeshadow pigments which have been decanted from--as in the powder tapped out into another container, never used directly. (I don't use very much makeup, though I love it, so I keep shadow pigments clean so I can safely share.) Would a jar of pigment handled thus bother you or are you ok with cosmetic-type stuff that has not been directly touched? Decanting is okay, but I don't use the loose powder eyeshadow. For those with fiber allergies, is it ok if you get, say, an ornament/amigur-whatsit yarn thing that has wool in the blend, as long as it's not something to be worn? Also, because I don't know, do people with wool allergies generally also have sensitivity to other fibers like alpaca? I have sensitive skin but am not allergic. Does anyone especially like or want anything from cost plus/world market? A lot of the gourmet minis look like fun. Does anyone need any small kitchen items or utensils? Wooden stirring spoons? Dearest Pumpkin- do you have a preference of edible/drinkable vs. non edible items in your package? Would you prefer your package heavier on one side or the other? Doesn't matter, as long as it's a mix of things you think I'd like. Any guilty pleasures? TV show you're embarassed to admit you like? Musical group/preference that seems out-of-place for you? Lots of teen and YA books, ABC Nashville, BBC Eastenders. Piano sheet music (or uke tab or bass lines) for just about anything - could be boy bands or hair metal or whatever. And now, a new question: to sort of piggy-back onto the question about small kitchen items, do you like to bake or cook, and if yes, are there any special ingredients, spices, or decorations for baked goods (like sprinkles in seasonal shapes or those decorative picks you put on top of cupcakes, for instance) that you would like? I like too cook, and would welcome just about anything for cooking. I don't like to bake. Hey, Pumpkin! How do you feel about lounge pants/pajama pants? Love 'em! Do you have long, medium, or short hair? What kids of hair accessories do you like to use? Very long. I like spin pins, flexi-8s, silk hair ties, scarves, buffs .... If I were going to the mountains tomorrow, for the apple harvest, would you wanted some dehydrated apple rings??? I have too many apples as it is. new question from me! how do you feel about music? would you like some? if so, what would you be interested in & in what format (do you still have somewhere to play CDs, or would a flash drive be better, etc)? I feel good about music! If it's stuff you love and want to share with me, I'm all for it. I like lots of different stuff as long as it's not super-loud and abrasive. I think a flash drive works best for me. If you have an Etsy favorites list, are all of the things on the list things you'd be happy to get, or are some of them gift ideas for other people, or stuff that you've already bought and loved but don't need more of, or for any reason not something you'd want to get in this swap? It's all things I'd be happy to get. Are there any scents from the Lilith update you would like ? Any other you are looking for ? I haven't even gotten decants, anticipating wanting lots of stuff from the Halloween update. The Lilith scents I'm interested in are Blueberry Picking, Lily Witch, Mermaids, The Hierophant and the Empress, and Very Pink Surprise Cake. Do you like Hello Kitty? It's not my usual thing, but if you find something you think would make me giggle ....

    Exhibit Hall Fatigue

The oil has this icy-hot thing happening on my skin. It smells like menthol and eucalyptus and it gives me a refreshing tingle. I don't smell the citrus, except as a slight sweetness on dry-down, but I do get a citrus *feeling* from this oil. Just a little dab does the trick; nice to be able to carry it around in an imp on hot summer days.

If your top 5 scents are... Then try these!

elbow, I'd say try Tombstone and No. 93 Engine.
  6. Mountaingrrl00

If your top 5 scents are... Then try these!

Bette Noir, you might like Lyonesse, Tamora and Witchblade.
  7. Mountaingrrl00

    Springtime scents

Insupportable Misery has become my favorite springtime scent. I can imagine the lilacs are already in bloom.
  8. Check out the recommendations section -- there's discussion of scents by season.
  9. Mountaingrrl00

    Rational scents?

The scent of lavender is associated with air, Mercury, and cool-headedness. You might want to try this one, which seems to fit "old English botanist" pretty well too: Arcana - "The essence of magickal enigmas and long-forgotten esoteric mysteries. Frankincense, rosemary, lavender, neroli, and verbena." Edited to add: Check the Sales/Swaps forums for fellow Canadians.

If your top 5 scents are... Then try these!

Okay, I'll play - recommend away! My favorites are: 1. Queen of Clubs 2. Lady Lilith 3. Temple of the Loas 4. Mrs. Grose 5. Sybaris

    Sleepytime BPAL

It's an Unreleased But Available TAL. http://www.bpal.org/topic/25516-unreleased-but-available/ You can order from the regular TAL address and just put the name of the oil in your order comments.
  13. Mountaingrrl00

    Sleepytime BPAL

This is a job for TAL Nocturne. Seriously, it's really effective.
  14. Mountaingrrl00

    The Turkish Village

This is not one I wear very often, but there's nothing like it to warm me up on a super-cold winter day. It smells like my grandmother and her friends, lavishly dressed, coming into a warm New York apartment for a party on a cold evening. All the rich perfumes mingle with the coffee and roses and there's this swath of old-fashioned festivity.
  15. Mountaingrrl00

    Faunalia

The drydown reminds me of my beloved super-rare Buck Moon! It has the same soft Egyptian musk note. The top note is a bracing cold pine.
  16. Mountaingrrl00

    Recs for the prettiest scents

Go To Sleep, Darlings is a pretty one in this year's Yules. It's like Snow White with a soft mintiness.
  17. Mountaingrrl00

    The Visionary

I get the iced peat note most of all, along with something like the green cognac of Summer Lace. There's a woody warmth waiting in the background and just a tinge of musk. It comes on strong but fades fairly quickly.
  18. Mountaingrrl00

    Ezekiel's Phoenix

The pomegranate, amber and saffron in the description gave me hope that this could resemble my super-rare BPAL favorite, Queen of Clubs. Could it? Not initially. It smells more like The Kingdom of Sweets, all tart fruity candy. BPAL's pomegranate note does that to me sometimes. Then I get the darker fruitiness of the plum: better. The scent when it dries down is warmer and more ambery but that sweet-tart pom note is still there, and I can't catch the saffron, frankincense or limonite accord. The saffron and frankincense may even be contributing to that enduring "bright" scent impression. Not much resemblance to QoC. It's pretty close to SN Pomegranate on me.
  19. Mountaingrrl00

    Leather and Pepper

Spanked reads as leather and pepper to me; the cardamom has that bite.
  20. Mountaingrrl00

    Insupportable Misery

In all my years of BPALdom, there've been only a handful of scents I've felt compelled to buy a second bottle of after using up the first one. Insupportable Misery is one. It's fresh and deep, floral and smoky, and yes, a bit lemony too, though that gives way to the saffron aromatic sweetness on drydown. Lilac is the easiest note to pick out, but really everything is beautifully blended into a soft violet-grey cloud of gorgeousness. Mmmph - can't stop huffing my wrist!
  21. Mountaingrrl00

    Scent for Halloween?

I went with Graveyard Dirt for Halloween. I'm testing September Midnight now, thinking of wearing it to a Day of the Dead party tonight.
  22. Mountaingrrl00

    September Midnight

The way this morphs is fascinating. Wet, it's a dry woody perfume with an ozone edge. I worry that it may give me a headache, and I can't smell the pomegranate at all. Then the oakmoss comes out and the ozone fades away. On drydown, there's the pomegranate in soft oakmoss with subtle hints of resins that make me want to huff my wrist. This will definitely be an evening dress-up kind of scent for me.
  23. Mountaingrrl00

    The recurring Yules

Midwinter's Eve, Yuletide and Yule have shown up several times. Jacob's Ladder and Midnight Mass are frequently recurring resin/incense Yules. Egg Nog and Sugar Cookie are recurrent foodie Yules.
  24. I will edit this as questions come in. Wishlists I don't think the links worked in my questionnaire, so here they are again. Amazon Wish List BPAL Wish List (including SW/SF Help): BPAL Wishlist http://www.bpal.org/...935#entry404935 Think Geek Wishlist Additional questions Dr. Who? - Not into it. How much do you like lipbalm? Flavored or unflavored? What are your favorite brands and flavors? I like lipbalm a lot! Flavored, definitely. Some of my favorites are Alba Botanicals, Bonne Bell. Unknown natural/indie are cool too. Tropical flavors, nostalgic candy flavors, weird flavors. SPF is good. Do you like and wear lipgloss? If yes, what colours? I do! I've been into the Revlon Lip Butters lately. I like a variety. Warm, bright, sheer colors are easiest on me (current favorites are Juicy Papaya and Candy Apple) but occasionally I find a great brown or a fuchsia that goes with my coloring. The ones that never look good on me are pastels, beige or glitter. For those of you whose wishlists contain only BPALs, are there any other perfume companies you like or would like to try out? For Strange Women, CB I Hate Perfume. Your feelings on Adagio teas: If you've never had anything from them, would you be open to trying them? If you HAVE had them and like them, name some favorites blends. And if you had them and dislike them, can you name a few *other* tea companies you're into? I haven't had Adagio teas. I'm open to trying them. I'm lazy and prefer teabags. I like robust black teas like Assam, or minty/tart tisanes to make iced tea. What about coffee? I'm pretty loyal to the local fair-trade roaster Just Coffee for stuff I make at home. I also like espresso drinks when I'm out and about. Who is your favourite female of all time? Historical, literary, ANYTHING, and why? If you were a Disney princess you would be?: Rapunzel, natch. Seashell from Florida? That would be cool. What craft project do you currently have on your docket or that you want to start? And that craft goodies would be welcome? Historically I have not been very crafty, but I might like to try making cigar-box stringed instruments. Oh, or repainting my living room with milk paints. If you could have one rare BPAL, what would you choose? Tarot: The Sun. Are you kinky? Well, I'm eccentric. Do you enjoy scented candles? Certain sizes that you like? What kind of scents or brands? I can't have them; they bother my cats. Thoughts about South Africa? Have you been here, would you like to go? Would you like to receive anything South African? Friends who've been there tell me it's beautiful. I'd enjoy receiving local natural or cultural items if my Switch Witch is South African. Sock Dreams? I like socks, especially cotton or silk ones. Calf or knee lengths work best for me. I dig stripes, funky patterns, neutrals and reds. Do you need hair accessories? If so, what kind or color? Yes! Silk/satin hair ties, seamless scarves, hair forks, hair sticks, anything else you know of that can comfortably and gently contain massive amounts of hair. (Mine is between waist and hip length, thick and curly.) What is your favorite shade of blue? Midnight blue! I also love robin's egg blue, turquoise, indigo, ultramarine, cobalt. If you were to start learning something new (intellectual or craft or hobby), what would it be? Educational theory. Grant writing. Music therapy. Latin percussion. Comedy writing. Music production (actually planning on taking an online course this summer.) Web design. Coding. The list goes on .... Candy? Only in small quantities. I am partial to intense black licorice, violet candies (violet creams!), and cinnamon swirl caramels. Oh, and I'd love to try the BPAL candies! Especially the Lupercalia ones. E-reader? I don't have one. Kitchen gadgets I don't have any. If your witch is an extremely crafty sort, and she were to send all kinds of homemade foody goodies and handmade crafty stuff - what are items you would NOT LOVE to receive. Please don't hedge on this one...some of us are serious crafters and will be making most of what we send! Items I would NOT love to receive are knitted things (my mom already knits me a ton of stuff) and decorative-only crafts. [ See next question for exception! ] As for food, nothing very perishable -- I'm just one person and don't want to waste your homemade treats. Do you welcome knitted items? If so, what would you like most? (amigurumi, washcloth, socks, shawl, shawlette, scarf, wrist warmers, hat, etc.) Do you have any favorite fibers? How about any fiber allergies? Favorite color for knitted items? Having said the above, I realize there is one thing I like that my mom doesn't knit me, and that's silk-lined hats! A slouchy beret in linen, cotton, bamboo or some combination, with silk sewn inside to protect my hair, would be very welcome. Favorite colors for knitted items: black, natural, lavender, burgundy, deep blues. Video games? Not so much these days, although if you have recommendations for good music/piano education ones to use in my profession, I'm all ears. Do you have something you do, without fail, as a personal daily habit/ritual? Writing by hand, walks. Do you wear nail polish? What colors do you tend to go for? What are your favorite brands? Are you open to trying indie brands? I wear polish on my toes in the summer. Colors I tend to go for are neutrals, plum, lavender, peach, burnt orange, turquoise -- and bright colors and unconventional colors in general. I'm partial to Zoya. I like little sample bottles as it takes me a long time to go through a bottle of any one color. I don't like glitter or texture effects. Indie brands are cool. Name three BPAL scents you have tried, but are dying to get more of. TKO, Madagascan Vanilla Rum, Passion Flower Do you still write real letters on nice stationary to people you like/love? Yes, on special occasions. Have you ever tried anything from Paintbox Soapworks? Which products or scents would you prefer? Never tried. The Gingermilk, Miss Ada and Little Paper Umbrellas solid scents look nice. Do you like/have space to garden? If so, what do you grow? I don't do much of it at home these days (I have one little tomato plant). I subscribe to a CSA and sometimes help with that. Do you like sample sized things? Think lip gloss, mascara, body lotion, scrubs, mini candles, and so forth. Yes, samples are fun. Have you tried Fortune Cookie Soap? What products or scents would you like? Never even heard of it! I'm not much a soap person, evidently. Do you use solid soaps at all? If so, what kind do or don't you like? Not really. Have you ever tried Cocoa Pink? If you are curious about it, what looks interesting to you? Not tried. Do you like Lush? If so, what is your favorite product that is currently available, also, what is a product that you love but has been discontinued? I like their citrusy shower things, the toothy tabs, and the lip scrubs. Shiro cosmetics? Eye pigments? I do better with cream eyeshadows. As I am in Japan, what sort of things would you like from there? Clothing, artwork -- anything unique to the country you think I'd like. Do you read literature/culture blogs or websites of any kind? I'm thinking about anything that would help a putative witch to get a sense of what your current tastes in books, movies, games, genres, approaches to culture and literature and so forth are. Hmmm ... I don't think I read any such sites regularly. Since FB and the FB Gusp group (and the BPAL Sorority which is quiet) have become gathering places...what are some of your favorite Facebook pages you like? I go on Facebook to communicate with friends and/or play Scrabble. How do you feel about traditional picnics (namely the intimate table for two variety)? Old-fashioned basket or something more utilitarian (cooler/insulated bag)? I love picnics! Utilitarian works best for me. If you were put in a room with 100 random other people the same age and sex as you, from your country, in what way do you think you would be different from the average? Self-employed, never married, no kids (nor grandkids, natch.) Third-generation American. I've been a radio host, a model, a legal assistant, a farmhand, a bookstore manager, and a door-to-door fundraiser, among other things. Skipped a grade of school in a new country. Was arrested with Casey Kasem. Started a music career in my 40s. I teach 8-year-old girls to be rock stars. Are there any companies, products, or items you boycott? I try to buy local and/or indie when applicable. I keep an eye on sustainability and labor practices as well. Which reading level do you prefer to read in -- YA or Adult? Or even both? Both. I haven't been a YA for ages now, but I still enjoy reading good YA fiction on occasion. (Feed by M.T. Anderson was a favorite.) And I would love to be introduced to more good adult fiction. Haus of Gloi did a Reverie update! Do any of them interest you? (Or anything else up currently?) I was unfamiliar with them, but the Perfume, Made For You interests me. Witchee, do you cook? Do you do all the cooking? Is it a chore or a pleasure? I do it all, and it's a pleasure. I just made a green salad with dill and fennel vinaigrette, mixed nuts and dried cranberries, and am now steaming some fresh asparagus! What colors/style is your kitchen decor? And do you entertain in your home? I have an itty-bitty nondescript kitchen. I don't entertain in my home, except for picnics in the backyard. I do have a few assorted Fiesta Ware plates I like. Are your ears pierced? Yes, one in each earlobe. Do you like stuffies/stuffed animals/art doll type thingies? If so, any particular type you'd love to get? Not for me, thanks. Switch Witch is, of course, all about you.....but if your Witch was so inclined, are there wee little ones in your home that will get jealous and are just too young to understand why you won't share the love, who maybe need a touch of Witchee love all their own, to distract them while you hide all your lovelies?!? My cats don't get jealous of SW -- only of my computer screen! And they'll probably make any Witchee boxes into toys. Questions: If you knew you were going to live comfortably for say 800 years, what profession, calling or project might you pursue with some of your extra years, which you imagine you may not do in the life that you have? Is there any thing - an object, a donation on your behalf, some research done for you, whatever - that your witch could do about this that you would like? And if you can't think of a present, would you rather she/he (I!) didn't either and confined themselves to things you are already involved in? Can't think of anything at the moment. Will come back to this. Would you be interested in someone writing out for you a favourite recipe, or finding or devising one which they think you'd like? If so, please provide your favourite ingredients, info on how you like to cook/store and use food, and any intolerances - unless all of these are in your questionnaire, or you don't like the idea. (I'm not saying I'd definitely do this, unless someone is keen, and it wouldn't be the only gift). I guess for other witches this might include something like a knitting pattern - not my thing but would you like that? Or indeed would you like a picture created for you (if so what kind) or a story written? Hmmm, it could be interesting for you to write a story or song lyrics based on what you know about me, if you're into that kind of thing. Do you like bags? If so, what type (rucksack, clutch, shopping bag) colour and would you like/need a new one? My current bag is actually wearing out, so a new (or sturdy used) one would be welcome. I like messenger bags and duffels. I carry a mini-laptop and music books in my bag as well as the usual stuff like lip balm and vitamins, to give you an idea of the size/shape. I'm pretty open on color as long as it fits with my tastes generally. What's your favourite comfort food (snack or candy etc) and/or drink? Tamari rice crackers, mixed nuts with dried cranberries, fruit juices mixed with sparkling water, ginger beer, swiss cheese. Would you like anything from an European country? Any particular food or goodies, magazines, books, whatever would be available to your witch in his/her country. Yes, that would be great! Anything that's unique to my witch's country would be of interest. If you're in Germany, my English friends tell me you get the best black tea there. If you're in France, I used to live there and miss many things -- see the creme de marrons question further down this list. What fandoms do you belong to? I don't really belong to any fandoms. What cheers you up? A good cup of coffee, a clean house, a massage, a day in the country, the smell of fresh citrus, a walk with a friend. Do you like tarot cards, pendulums and rune stones etc? If so, what type? I like tarot cards. I have a Motherpeace deck and would like to try working with a traditional Rider Waite deck as well. Who or where would you most want to haunt? Who would you least want to be haunted by? I'd most want to haunt the house I grew up in. I can't think of anyone I'd want to be haunted by, let alone who least. 0What question do you hate to answer? I'm an introvert. I don't like questions that invade my personal space (especially in person.) What is the best compliment you have/could receive?
