  1. Lime and lavender, I could smell this all day long, got this imp as part of a swap. This is one for the oil-burner after a busy day at work or school. The same strong lavender in the somnium blends is present here. Very pretty.

  2. Nuit sounds like a winner, from the jasmine to the moonflower.. but as much as I genuinely like this scent, it falls a bit short of expectation for me. It's soft and understated and perfect for a dressed up night out with my bf, unfortunately its too subtle for him.

    7/10

  3. Pure peach and soft musk. She's lovely, but not as cruel and twisted as she is made out to be. I always wondered what the soft heart or the youthful Marquise would be like, I think this is it, scheming, but not to hurt anyone. This is her surrendered dream of herself and Valmont, and kind of sad for that reason.

  4. Chocolate and something dark and rich, must be the myrrh. Suprisingly this scent doesn't last long on me considering how nice it wears. While Bliss is brownie batter, this is walking into a room scented with dark chocolate and spices, yum.

  5. The roses and jasmine tame the myrrh in this blend, making it sweet and rich and everybody should try this blend. It's just plain sexy. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have as much effect on my bf as it does on me.

  6. Unfortunately this was one of the few dark musk and floral blends that did not work out for me. It was just too dark to work with my skin chemistry. I'm fairly sure that it's the myrrh that hates me so much, it hated me in The Perfumed Garden too.

  7. This scent embodies the feeling when you are cuddled up to your lover, gently stroking and teasing eachother, the slow building passion and desire. I really like this blend, it is sultry florals, yet without the heaviness that some of them bring. It is very pretty and warm.

  8. This is a very effective blend, it just works, even if I had a stressful midterm the next day this scent managed to calm me and get me sleeping so I could be prepared. If I ever turn into an insomniac I'm getting a 5ml of this post-haste.

  9. I keep my sleep blends by the bedside for whenever I have trouble sleeping. Nashe is lavender and lemongrass as the top notes, of the few somnium blends I've tried this one is perky and encorages you to keep aware as you sleep. I haven't seen any changes or remembered my dreams any better, but I do sleep well with this scent slathered on.

  10. A dizzying eddy of four teas brushed with light herbs and a breath of peony.

A mix of teas and very light florals. This is a dreamy blend that's at once fresh and soothing, I wish I knew how to scent dryer sheets, I'd have my laundry smell like this every single day. It has almost no lasting power on me, but I wish it did.

  11. Sweet innocence, the fresh bloom of womanhood and love. This is a lovely scent for anyone who doesn't quite feel comfortable with the dark sandalwoods and resins. I carried this one in my backpack for days that I forgot to put on perfume before I left, the label still carries pencil marks. This one goes on the short list, once I start using up my other 5mls.

  12. I wish my garden smelled this good after a fresh rain. Strong florals made 'wet' with aquatic overtones. This scent is refreshing and clean without being soapy or overpowering. This was a frimp and I've swapped for a bottle for a friend, I'll be enjoying my imp though, you can be sure of that.

  13. Spicy aquatics, I'm not entirely certain if I like this scent. I'm a fan of the traditional aquatics such as WoND, and this one evokes a peaceful lake, with something insidious lurking underneath. In this way it may have correctly recalled its literary origins.

  14. Florals and citrus, this scent is one of the few that I honestly wish I naturally smelled like. It's womanly and glorious. It's a traditional perfume scent to incontroveribly addict anyone who might still be holding onto their diluted designer blends. I'm tempted to share this one with all my friends, it's just that lovely.

  15. Very strong lemon, it's the single dominating scent in the entire collection, and I love it. This was the first BPAL bottle I ever bought and I'm so happy I did. Eventually the florals peek their heads out from under the rush of lemon. Lovely and not gloomy at all.

  16. Cold Moon is Ice Queen's timid little sister. It's chilling and sweet, without the haughty feeling I get from Ice Queen. Cucumber, mint and that wonderful scent that makes it seem cold, I'm so glad I bought a bottle of this.

  17. I haven't reviewed this yet? Pink Moon is a sugary heaven, the florals are uplifting and support the pure brightness of this scent. If I'm desperate for some joy I always wear this. It is uplifting in scent in a nearly tangible fashion. Of all the lunacies this might be my favorite.

  18. Mint and roses... I'm in heaven. It's a beautifully feminine scent and if I hadn't already bought so many oils to go through I'd be making this one my signature scent. It's perfect.
