    The Night-Raven

In the imp: Patchouli and geranium. Wet: The Night PATCHOULI. Dry: The geranium is strongest, but I get hints of earthy patchouli and plum. Nice! An hour later: The patchouli reverts back to its naughty tricks and completely takes over bum.

The Night Hag Visiting The Lapland Witches

In the imp: Pine, maybe a bit of smoke. Wet: Pine, smoky resins, something a bit woodsy. Dry: Sharp pine with sweet resins. It's a bit cologney for my taste, but nice.

    Nero

Whyyy did I only try this after it was discontinued? My heaving breast, I beat it in sorrow. In the imp: Spicy bay is the dominant note, but I get a wee bit of all the scents listed. Wet: Yup. The bay is so yummy. Dry: Spicy bay sharpened by pine and lemon, with hints of rosemary. Delicious. Would probably be amazing on a dude, but said hypothetical dude will have to pry my imp from my cold dead hands.

    Mourning Cloak

I bought this because I misread kumaru or whatever as kumara, which is what we call sweet potato, KING OF THE ROOT VEGETABLES. But it's not. So anyway. In the imp: Verbena and almond milk. Wet: Really nice. Zingy verbena on top with a sweetness (I think almond milk and beeswax) below. Dry: As wet. An interesting mix.

    Morocco

idgi In the imp: Very sweet musk. Wet: Intense sweetness with the teensiest bit of spice. Dry: Overwhelmingly sweet musk witht the barest hint of spice. I don't see what all the fuss is about, quite frankly.

    Morgause

In the imp: Jasmine, maybe some fruit. Wet: Incense and jasmine. Dry: Incensey jasmine and fruit. Meh.

    Medea

In the imp: Mostly cyprus. Quite a dark smell. Wet: Cypress, poppy, possibly orchid. Dry: A pleasant orchid blend, with hints of incense and cypress. Lasted a good while too.

    Masquerade

I so wanted to like this, as I was looking for an equivalent to Lush's Karma. Sadly, this wasn't it. In the imp: Patchouli and ambergris. Wet: Ambergris and carnation, slight hints of orange blossom and patchouli. Dry: A mixture of sweaty armpit and a pet store. Yeah, nah. Hopefully I'll have better luck with Vixen.

    Malice

In the imp: Patchouli, ylang ylang and clove. Wet: The clove and the patchouli are mixing weirdly, and the smell is unfortunately similar to marmite! Dry: Yeah. Powdery clove marmite Bummer. I really wanted to like this, as clove and myrrh are two of my favourite notes, but this just won't play nicely on my skin.

    Mag Mell

In the imp: Verbena and ginger, with a hint of something aquatic. Wet: Verbena like whoa. Dry: An interestingly zingy mix of verbena, ginger and grass, which I quite like, but then there's this sweet amber note on top that I don't really care for. Hmm. Didn't really work for me.

    Lysander

In the imp: Flowery green notes. Definitely getting some lilac and lime. Wet: A slight spiciness (I wonder if that's the myrtle?), mixed with the florals and lime. Dry: This is just like Cordelia, ha. Both scents remind me of standing in my garden after it's rained - a wet floral and woodsy scent.

    Lust

In the imp: Sweet patchouli. Wet: The patchouli is still dominant, but the myrrh and ylang ylang are peeking out. Dry: A heavy myrrh mix. Fairly unremarkable.

    Lurid

Shocking, horrific, fierce, savage, sensationalized, luminous and hazy: black currant, Bulgarian lavender and white musk with a dollop of thick resin and a voltaic charge of ozone notes. A bit odd, this one. In the imp: Blackcurrant, lavender and ozone. Wet: The same. The blackcurrant seems quite sweet, while the ozone and lavender are quite biting. Dry: It was like this perfume split itself into two parts: the harsh lavender and ozone (which I liked), and then a rather sweet blackcurrant musk, which I didn't really care for. Weird.

    Lucy's Kiss

In the imp: Rose, something a bit spicy. Wet: Yup. Kinda musty rose. Dry: Weird. I tried this last week and it was really gross (kind of like rotting rose, not nice at all), but it's fine on me now. A sweet, light rose scent.

    The Lotus Tree

In the imp: Honey, with a slight ngreen note, and maybe a hint of spice. Wet: Honey. Dry: A very sweet floral honey.

    London

In the imp: Tea rose. Quite bitter. Wet: The same. Dry: The bitter note buggers off, and I'm left with pure tea rose. I used to wear rose scents a lot when I was a young'un, so I'll keep my imp around for the nostalgia factor.

    The Lion

In the imp: A soft, clean, spiciness. Wet: A cinnamon-y amber. Dry: A nice spicy resin. Makes me think of christmas. It's pleasant, but I think i'd prefer it as a room scent.

    Lilith's Tea Party

In the imp: Anise (very similar to Bread & Butterfly, I wonder if it's the same tea note?) and strawberries. Wet: Amazingly fresh strawberries and delicious cakey things. Dry: Oh my gosh, this is so wonderful. Sweet cakes and anise, fresh strawberries (I was a bit nervous about them, as I'm used to the nasty artifical scent, but this is very true to life), with hints of rose and cream. So whimsical and pretty. I need a bottle.

    The Lights of Men's Lives

In the imp: An absolutely non-foody vanilla. Wet: Sweet, slightly smoky vanilla-tinged beeswax. Dry: Very sweet beeswax with just a hint of smoke. Nice!

    Liaison

In the imp: Musky clove and frankincense. Wet: Honey-sweet frankincense with hints of clove. Dry: The same clove note from Copulating Mice, mixed with musky incense and honey. A tad sweet for me, but not bad. An hour later: Went completely powdery/generic on me. Bum.

    Les Bijoux

I: Skin musk with honey and apples. Very pretty and clean smelling. Wet: Frankincense and myrrh with white, almost floral, fruity notes. Lovely. Dry: Powdery honey and incense mixed with sweet fruit. It was lovely, but wore off almost completely within an hour

    Kurukulla

In the imp: Yup, rose and lotus. Sweet and kinda fruity. Wet: Weirdly like pear. Dry: Mostly rose, with a bit of lotus here and there. A pleasant enough floral.

    Kuang Shi

In the imp: Swwet mandarin. Wet: Lovely! Mandarin and sandalwood. Very soft and pretty. Dry: Very faint sweet citrus. I liked i, but just couldn't get it to stick around on me. I tried it as a room scent but it seemed too faint for that too. Bum!

    Kathmandu

Hahaha, I've been to the Swayambhunath Stupa. The stairs up to it nearly killed me and a really cheeky stallkeeper tried to sell me the Karma Sutra, promising "many positions, very good!" So yeah, I've been to the actual Kathmandu, and while it's a lovely city, it smells terrible. Nepal is a developing country, and disposal of sewage/garbage is a problem. But anyway: In the imp: Cedar, incense and lotus. I like how this is basically an ~Eastern version of Cathedral. Wet: Spicy, vaguely anisey herbaliness. Dry: Cedar and sweet lotus-y incense. I really like it!

    Jerusalem Cherry Infused Honey

In the imp: Tomato plants! Made me rather peckish. Wet: Really yummy and fresh tomatoes, straight off the vine... and honey. Dry: A green, earthy tomato scent mixed with honey to create something infinitely novel and surprisingly wearable.
