    Floral Still Life With Cat

For me, this starts out with a lush, realistic rose note. It has stems, leaves and all. I get some greenery here which blends with the rose. The peony is also there but it's more subtle and delicate on my skin. I feel that the rose is the more dominant note on me. I can also smell another subtle note here which must be the porcelain. It's really hard for me to describe but it adds something cool and smooth to the scent. My main scent impressions are of a smooth rose with the softness of peony, on cool porcelain and the slightest hint of some greenery. It really is the perfect representation in scent form of the artwork. It's very elegant and classy

    White Cat

Warm golden musk and vanilla cream with a hint of lemon and mallowflower. The vanilla becomes stronger over time. After a couple of hours of wear time I get a golden musk and amber swirled in vanilla cream. It's a furry, warm scent that stays close to the skin.

    La Pluie d’or Léon

This starts out with the crisp white tea which is slightly citrusy with the yellow champa adding a fresh floral note. Champa is one of my favorite smells in real life and here I think it's quite realistic of the tropical flower and doesn't turn screechy or high pitched. The frankincense is also there in the background, adding to the brightness of the scent. The honey is light and airy, I don't think I've tried the sparkling honey note before and it's different to other honeys I've tried from the lab. The skin musk and honey add a really nice softness to the scent to round out the edges and add a touch of sweetness. I don't really get much amber or orris until the last stages of the scent. I wore this for about 6 hours and I could smell it the whole time but by around 4 hours the tea, floral notes and honey had mostly worn off and I was left with a more resinous base of frankincense and amber. I find this quite a bright, sunny scent. To me the star is the crisp white tea combined with the bright floral note of the yellow champa. The honey and skin musk are really nice additions that sweeten the scent and make it kind of blend into your skin.

    To Lallie

This is one is lovely, on me this is a very white rose forward scent with subtle vanilla and coconut milk in the background. I initially hesitated to try this because coconut often does not work on me but this is more of a creamy coconut milk note rather than pure coconut. I can't really detect the other notes here and I can only really smell the coconut milk if I put my nose to wrist. It reminds me a little of From Whose Eyes As They Glance Flowed Love because they are both creamy rose scents to my nose but To Lallie is less sweet and the white rose is more prominent. People who enjoyed From whose eyes may enjoy this one too. It is a creamy white rose scent on me.

    Violet Behemoth

The notes in this blend together so harmoniously. Plum normally takes over alot of scents on me and is quite a dominating note for me, but I'm pleased that here it is present but not taking over the scent. I've never tried the raspberry note before and I really like it. It is slightly tart, which blends well with the plum. The violet adds a soft floral element to a jammy, purple scent. The indigo musk is also really lovely here. This has alot of throw on me and lasts a long time. I had some on the sweatshirt I was wearing and I can still smell it lingering after it had been washed.

And Here I Sawe My Whete So Rede

On my skin the main notes are the slightly citrusy bergamot and the woodsy Palo Santo. The sandalwood is very soft and creamy in this blend. I can smell the rice milk in the background but it is more of a background note on me and I only get whiffs of it from time to time. The bergamot note is very true to how it smells in real life and brings to mind walking through a lovely herb garden. It's quite a relaxing and calming scent to me

    A Medley of Vulvas

On me this is bourbon vanilla, thick beeswaxy honey and effervescent pink labdanum. The pink labdanum seems like a softer version that other types. Labdanum sometimes doesn't work on me but the pink variety blends so well with the other notes here. I also smell something unique which must be the bushmans candle - to me it is a slightly woodsy, dry and smoky scent. It's so hard to describe but blends perfectly with the vanilla and honey. This is lovely and definitely unique among my bpal collection.

    Snow White Rabbit

The original White Rabbit is one of my all time faves and I also like Snow white so this one was a no brainer for me. This one feels like a familiar blend of both of these scents. I find Snow white rabbit to be similar to the original but with a dollop of snow. I get more linen and less milk though from this version though so the result is more of a clean, linen and snow scent. It's not a sharp though, more of a soft clean, snowy scent. After this settles into the skin it becomes more milky and I get more of the Snow White.

    Shortbread Diamonds

Initially I get a sweet, caramelized brown sugar scent from Shortbread Diamonds but after the first few minutes this settles into a rich, gourmand vanilla scent. On me this smells more like a vanilla buttercream that is heavy on the vanilla essence. This a sweet, creamy vanilla on me. I see that this doesn't have a vanilla note listed, but to me this is shortbread with alot of vanilla essence. This is the perfect, cozy scent for a dull rainy day.

    Leave Marks

On me Leave marks smells like a lovely, soft Violet candy floss 💜I don't get alot of the amber but I think it might be contributing to the fluffy, candy floss like scent I'm getting from this. It's a light hearted, soft scent. Even though this has candy as a note it is not too sweet or cloying.

    Pearl Necklace

When first applied I get Pear as the strongest note followed by a light honey, vanilla and skin musk. I don't get much cream at the moment but it may come out more with aging. The honey is light and not overpowering or too sweet and the skin musk and vanilla are also light and airy. I think that the skin musk and Orris stop this scent from heading into foodie territory on me. This lasts for quite a long time on my skin and doesn't seem to morph over time. Someone else mentioned the Perilous Parlor which is actually an old favorite of mine and I think that this is like a lighter, summery version of the Perilous Parlor on me. The Pearl Necklace is unique though, but I think that they're in the same scent family. I find the Pearl Necklace to be a light, airy vanilla and pear scent 😍

    The Little Owl

This one starts out with the brown sandalwood and vetiver on me. It is dry, warm and slightly smokey. Sandalwood tends to be a dominating note on my skin. In the background I get the Tonka and almonds. They add sweetness and complexity to the scent. I only get the tiniest hint of beeswax. This is a warm, slightly dry and woodsy scent on me, with a hint of sweetness from the Tonka and beeswax. It smells like being outdoors, in a forest. I will be interested to see how this ages, because I love beeswax and I hope that the beeswax and Tonka might develop more on my skin with some aging. Edited to add - I have been wearing this for the last few days and it is gorgeous. I get more Tonka and oak bark now. I find it a sophisticated, woodsy blend with some warm Tonka in the background. This is one of those scents I could wear everyday 😍

    The Solitude of Springtime

Solitude in Spring time starts out with alot of golden apple and pear on initial application. The apple is golden and warm and the pear brings a sweetness. After the initial dry down phase the fruit settles down and let's the dewy lily take the spotlight, backed up by some delicate cherry blossom. The fruit brings a sweetness and stops the lily from becoming high pitched. The cherry blossom seems to hide behind the lily but I can still smell it adding an overall floral softness. I can also smell the white musk in the background. After an hour or so of wear time I get more cherry blossom, white musk and pear. The lily has settled into the scent. My overall scent impressions are that this is a dewy, soft, pale pink floral backed by the fruits . I think that the lily, dew covered grass, apple and pear are the more dominant notes here. The cherry blossom and white musk come out with longer wear time. It's a feminine and slightly perfumey scent, that suits its name.

    Young Pilgrim Girl

This one was a total surprise for me too. I was expecting it to be heavy on the linen and black silk but I get very little of these notes. On me the main notes I am getting are the sweetened rose cream, jasmine milk, wild flower honey and what I'm guessing is the abalone shell. The sweetened rose cream and honey make this quite a sweet scent on me, and I think that these notes are dominating this scent for me. The jasmine milk is also there, though not as strong as the rose, the jasmine is absolutely not high pitched here and definitely like milk infused with jasmine. It blends into the rose cream creating a sweet, milky floral scent on me. I'm also getting alot of another note which I cant put my finger on, I think it is the abalone shell, and to me it almost smells similar to a sweet lotus note. This is far sweeter than I expected it to be, not that I'm complaining because I enjoy these kinds of scents. From looking at the painting and the fabric notes for some reason I expected it to be a somber linen scent with light creamy florals in the background but it is far more reflective of its name and is quite a youthful, sweet and milky floral on me

    Fleece Skeleton Onesie

On me, I get alot of freshly laundered fleece from this scent combined with a cool, non gourmand vanilla. I can also smell the eyeliner note, which to me smells genuinely like make up! There could also be a hint of lemon in this. It is a cozy, clean kind of scent, definitely reminds me of Traditional sheet ghost from last year. It has alot of throw on me and lasts for quite a while.

Pomegranate, Freesia, White Tea, and White Amber

I got two of the Persephones bounty scents and I really like them both and find they are different enough to warrant bottles of both. Pomegranate, freesia and white tea and amber on me starts out with the pomegranate and white amber. The amber definitely makes this a richer scent and more autumnal than I expected. I have times when I can smell the freesia over the other two notes and it is a like a cool, breeze of freesias over top of the sweet pomegranate and amber. The tea is very subtle on me. I can detect it most strongly at the begining then it fades behind the other notes. Even though I thought that this would be more spring like it is quite autumnal and festive with the pomegranate and amber. The freesia to me adds a cool, soft floral element but is not in anyway high pitched and blends in quite beautifully with the other notes.

    Pomegranate Turkish Delight

On my skin Pomegranate Turkish delight is a slightly tart pomegranate combined with the sugared rose water of the Turkish delight. I really like this one alot, and I think I'm going to be it wearing alot too. It doesn't really morph on me and has medium throw.

    Oda a la Luz Encantada

On me, this starts out quite herbal with the chamomile and lavender leading the way. After a little while of wear time I can smell the cream and pear blossom, they merge with the chamomile and soften the scent. My impressions are that this is a happy, youthful, spring like scent. It reminds me of scents from when I was a teenager myself. I agree with others, that this does have a perfumey edge. But, It's one of those scents that's perfect for any occasion and season. I've worn it quite a lot since it arrived.

    Easter Egging

I love white chocolate scents and I was looking forward to this arriving in the mail. These are my impressions after resting for a day or two. On me the main notes are the pink sandalwood and white chocolate. I don't really get any mallowflower or roses, they are probably there in the background adding a softness to the scent but this is definitely all about the sandalwood and white chocolate on me. This one doesn't seem to morph over time either. Since white chocolate is a note I look out for, I'm happy that I'm getting alot of it in this scent. The sandalwood is such an interesting match for the white choc and I'm finding it hard to describe here. I think it adds a clean, perfumey element to the scent. This scent is very reminiscent of Easter and springtime. A pastel swirl is an apt description.

    Peach Milk

Peach milk on me is alot of peach and just a little milk. The peach is a ripe, sweet and juicy one. It has a hint of milk, which softens the scent overall. But, the peach does dominate on my skin. It's very fresh, light and wearable. I don't smell any of the baked goods that other people have from this scent. It reminds of a whipped peach body lotion I used to wear. It's mostly fresh peach and the milk note is just there in the background nicely rounding out the peach. I think I'll wear it quite alot in summer months. It would also smell great as a body lotion.

    Ceres

I love so many of the notes in this- mallowflower, peonies, cream but I had never tried the corn note before so wasn't sure what to expect. When first applied Ceres is dominated by the mallowflower, cream and spun sugar. I don't even notice the corn at first but after about 10 minutes it becomes more dominant along with the wheat. At this stage I'm reminded of some kind of cereal that has small marshmallows in it or marshmallow and cornflakes. As someone else mentioned above, if I put my wrist to my nose I do smell creamed corn ... with sugar and marshmallows.... a very unique scent which is fitting for this time of year. I also think it suits this goddess, I can remember reading somewhere that the word cereal comes from Ceres.

    A Wet Moon, Putney Road

This starts out with a very soft, sweetened amber mixed with rain and moss. I can also detect what must be a beeswax note in this too, it blends seamlessly with the amber. This one doesn't really change on me over wear time. It stays close to the skin and is a calm, relaxing kind of scent. I can imagine wearing this on quiet, rainy days. This is also probably the first scent I've really enjoyed a rain note, it's not a note I normally gravitate towards but it is really lovely here.

    Burnt Sugar, Cream, and Strawberries

I get equal blend of cream, sugar and strawberries in this scent. The strawberry is there but its not taking over for me, I can smell the burnt sugar and cream as well. I think that the cream softens the whole scent. It's is a cheerful, innocent, summery scent. It's kind of nostalgic and reminds me of strawberry scents from when I was a child.

    Syrnyk

On first application I get a burst of cheesecake but for me this settles into a lovely vanilla scent. It's the kind of vanilla that is in baked goods, like vanilla essence. It reminds of vanilla buttercream, rather than vanilla cheesecake. I get hints of the lemon but it's more in the background.

    The Treasury

I decided to grab a bottle of this in my last order and I'm pleased I did. I get alot of honey dust and toasted rice. It's quite a sweet, warm and toasty scent that is slightly gourmand. This one doesn't really change much over time. I can pick out hints of sandalwood and orris but they stay in the background. Edited to add: after a while I can smell the crimson musk! It works well with the toasted rice and honey dust. To my nose it's a similar musk to the one in vasilissa.
