This starts out with a bright, syrupy cherry note that is softened by the marshmallow froth. I agree that this froth must have a milk note hidden away here. It dries down into a sweet, milky, cherry scent. It's cheerful and fun.

Blue cotton candy moon is not the super sweet candy scent I was expecting. It is more grown up and lunar. I find that the cotton candy note lingers more towards the edges of the scent rather than front and centre. I get alot of the lunar, bluish musk that @VetchVesper described. I also get the blue cotton candy note ... there's times when I'm sure that this could have a little bit of blueberry hidden away in there. The cotton candy is not in your face or overly sweet. I think it adds a sugary softness to the musk. I can pick out a vague floral note as well but I couldn't pick out any individual floral notes I'm familiar with. I find that there is a perfumey base to this scent which must be the floral note. This is very light blue and lunar in feel. It stays close to the skin. It dries down to be a pale, sugared blue musk scent on me.

Sleeping cat is a warm golden cat, that has been sleeping in a pine forest. I get warm, golden amber mixed with pine or balsam notes. This does have Christmas vibes to it. The amber note is warm and spiced, the pine note is not overwhelming but it is still present. I put this on before bed and to me it is relaxing and cozy.

On me this starts out with a very strong Wool note, that fades into a softer, creamy silk scent. The cream note is one my favorite notes. I like the second stage of this one alot, in the first stage the wool comes on a bit strong and clean smelling for me but it does fade. When this dries down to the cream and silk notes it is lovely.

I feel like my experience is a bit different to other reviewers because on me Frou Frou smells like sweet, musky vanilla Marshmallow mixed with the lace and silk notes. I really get no rose or Oakmoss. I ordered a decant of this one because I wasn't sure about the Oakmoss fougere, but it is either very well blended into the other notes or my skin must eat it up. To me this is in the same scent family as Traditional sheet ghost because it is Marshmallow and fabric notes but I find this one sweeter and not as clean smelling, this one is also more complex with the different fabric notes. This one has alot of throw on me and lasts a long time.

I've tested this a few times before writing a review because l agree with the others that there is alot going on here and it can be hard to pinpoint exact notes. This does start out very green, with the grass and leaf notes. I then get the red currant and strawberry notes followed by the floral notes. It's hard to pick out the individual floral notes but I can smell the heather that I recognize from Glasgow and the lilac musk. I like this one. It's quite a fresh floral with the strawberry and red currant to sweeten it. I have worn this a few times and each time I'm sure it smells slightly different or perhaps my nose can pick out different notes. It's very pretty and summery.

This one is a surprise win for me! When first applied I get a mix of violets and patchouli but after a few minutes the violet becomes a very subdued part of the scent. I get a very soft coconut scent mixed with sweet opium. It's gorgeous and not like anything I already have in my bpal collection. The violet is there in the background but I wouldn't describe this is a violet scent. It is very soft and pretty. The coconut mist is really lovely and the opium is not overpowering as it can be on me sometimes. I can't pick out the oakmoss or even the balsam at all, but I think the white musk, ambergris and Orris are there adding to the overall soft haziness of the coconut and the violet. This is more of a skin hugging scent on me. I would normally shy away from coconut in scents because it can sometimes be fake smelling on me and Orris and patchouli can be hit or miss. But, I find the coconut here to be much softer, maybe because it's coconut mist. I like this one very much, I'm happy I got a decant. Now I think I may need more than 1 bottle.

For me this starts out with alot of Ylang Ylang, but it quickly takes a back seat to the sugar and the clove. The scent becomes sugared clove on me. The sugar note is really lovely and well balanced by the clove. After this has settled into my skin I can hardly detect the Ylang Ylang at all.

Morello Cherry, Ginger Root, and Black Musk
becca_s replied to Silvertree's topic in Duets & Menage A Trois
This does start out strong with a sweet cherry note. After a few minutes wear time I can smell the ginger and black musk. To me the black musk adds a fizzy or effervescent quality and I find that this smells like a cherry Soda or cordial with some fresh ginger mixed in. I find it a sweet scent but the ginger definitely does add a freshness and zing.- 6 replies

Osmanthus, Benzoin, and Bourbon Vanilla
becca_s replied to Seajewel's topic in Duets & Menage A Trois
On me this is a sweet, creamy floral. I have a similar experience to other reviewers that the Osmanthus leans towards being slightly peachy/Apricot with a soft, fuzzy quality. I don't get much of the bourbon vanilla but I can pick out the benzoin adding a sweet, resinous base. This is very soft and dreamy, low throw but lasts a long time. I'll be interested to see if the vanilla becomes stronger with aging.- 7 replies

On me this starts out with the oak leading the way, followed by the golden amber. I find the amber particularly lovely here, because it has a warmth to it which blends really well with the woodsy oak. The muguet is there on the edges of the scent adding a slightly perfumey quality. This is a warm and woodsy scent with lily in the background. To me its one of those scents I'd want to wear on cooler autumn days. I'm really enjoying wearing this one.

On me I get a fresh strawberry scent with a hint of vanilla and sugar. I also get pink floral notes, I can pick out the carnation and tulip notes and also the pink peony in the background. The Pink Moon from 2012 was one of my favorites, that one had white chocolate instead of strawberry. I think I like the strawberry version just as much, the strawberry note isn't too sweet or overpowering and blends really well with the other notes.

For me, this starts out with a lush, realistic rose note. It has stems, leaves and all. I get some greenery here which blends with the rose. The peony is also there but it's more subtle and delicate on my skin. I feel that the rose is the more dominant note on me. I can also smell another subtle note here which must be the porcelain. It's really hard for me to describe but it adds something cool and smooth to the scent. My main scent impressions are of a smooth rose with the softness of peony, on cool porcelain and the slightest hint of some greenery. It really is the perfect representation in scent form of the artwork. It's very elegant and classy

Warm golden musk and vanilla cream with a hint of lemon and mallowflower. The vanilla becomes stronger over time. After a couple of hours of wear time I get a golden musk and amber swirled in vanilla cream. It's a furry, warm scent that stays close to the skin.

This starts out with the crisp white tea which is slightly citrusy with the yellow champa adding a fresh floral note. Champa is one of my favorite smells in real life and here I think it's quite realistic of the tropical flower and doesn't turn screechy or high pitched. The frankincense is also there in the background, adding to the brightness of the scent. The honey is light and airy, I don't think I've tried the sparkling honey note before and it's different to other honeys I've tried from the lab. The skin musk and honey add a really nice softness to the scent to round out the edges and add a touch of sweetness. I don't really get much amber or orris until the last stages of the scent. I wore this for about 6 hours and I could smell it the whole time but by around 4 hours the tea, floral notes and honey had mostly worn off and I was left with a more resinous base of frankincense and amber. I find this quite a bright, sunny scent. To me the star is the crisp white tea combined with the bright floral note of the yellow champa. The honey and skin musk are really nice additions that sweeten the scent and make it kind of blend into your skin.

This is one is lovely, on me this is a very white rose forward scent with subtle vanilla and coconut milk in the background. I initially hesitated to try this because coconut often does not work on me but this is more of a creamy coconut milk note rather than pure coconut. I can't really detect the other notes here and I can only really smell the coconut milk if I put my nose to wrist. It reminds me a little of From Whose Eyes As They Glance Flowed Love because they are both creamy rose scents to my nose but To Lallie is less sweet and the white rose is more prominent. People who enjoyed From whose eyes may enjoy this one too. It is a creamy white rose scent on me.

The notes in this blend together so harmoniously. Plum normally takes over alot of scents on me and is quite a dominating note for me, but I'm pleased that here it is present but not taking over the scent. I've never tried the raspberry note before and I really like it. It is slightly tart, which blends well with the plum. The violet adds a soft floral element to a jammy, purple scent. The indigo musk is also really lovely here. This has alot of throw on me and lasts a long time. I had some on the sweatshirt I was wearing and I can still smell it lingering after it had been washed.

On my skin the main notes are the slightly citrusy bergamot and the woodsy Palo Santo. The sandalwood is very soft and creamy in this blend. I can smell the rice milk in the background but it is more of a background note on me and I only get whiffs of it from time to time. The bergamot note is very true to how it smells in real life and brings to mind walking through a lovely herb garden. It's quite a relaxing and calming scent to me

On me this is bourbon vanilla, thick beeswaxy honey and effervescent pink labdanum. The pink labdanum seems like a softer version that other types. Labdanum sometimes doesn't work on me but the pink variety blends so well with the other notes here. I also smell something unique which must be the bushmans candle - to me it is a slightly woodsy, dry and smoky scent. It's so hard to describe but blends perfectly with the vanilla and honey. This is lovely and definitely unique among my bpal collection.

The original White Rabbit is one of my all time faves and I also like Snow white so this one was a no brainer for me. This one feels like a familiar blend of both of these scents. I find Snow white rabbit to be similar to the original but with a dollop of snow. I get more linen and less milk though from this version though so the result is more of a clean, linen and snow scent. It's not a sharp though, more of a soft clean, snowy scent. After this settles into the skin it becomes more milky and I get more of the Snow White.

Initially I get a sweet, caramelized brown sugar scent from Shortbread Diamonds but after the first few minutes this settles into a rich, gourmand vanilla scent. On me this smells more like a vanilla buttercream that is heavy on the vanilla essence. This a sweet, creamy vanilla on me. I see that this doesn't have a vanilla note listed, but to me this is shortbread with alot of vanilla essence. This is the perfect, cozy scent for a dull rainy day.

On me Leave marks smells like a lovely, soft Violet candy floss 💜I don't get alot of the amber but I think it might be contributing to the fluffy, candy floss like scent I'm getting from this. It's a light hearted, soft scent. Even though this has candy as a note it is not too sweet or cloying.

When first applied I get Pear as the strongest note followed by a light honey, vanilla and skin musk. I don't get much cream at the moment but it may come out more with aging. The honey is light and not overpowering or too sweet and the skin musk and vanilla are also light and airy. I think that the skin musk and Orris stop this scent from heading into foodie territory on me. This lasts for quite a long time on my skin and doesn't seem to morph over time. Someone else mentioned the Perilous Parlor which is actually an old favorite of mine and I think that this is like a lighter, summery version of the Perilous Parlor on me. The Pearl Necklace is unique though, but I think that they're in the same scent family. I find the Pearl Necklace to be a light, airy vanilla and pear scent 😍

This one starts out with the brown sandalwood and vetiver on me. It is dry, warm and slightly smokey. Sandalwood tends to be a dominating note on my skin. In the background I get the Tonka and almonds. They add sweetness and complexity to the scent. I only get the tiniest hint of beeswax. This is a warm, slightly dry and woodsy scent on me, with a hint of sweetness from the Tonka and beeswax. It smells like being outdoors, in a forest. I will be interested to see how this ages, because I love beeswax and I hope that the beeswax and Tonka might develop more on my skin with some aging. Edited to add - I have been wearing this for the last few days and it is gorgeous. I get more Tonka and oak bark now. I find it a sophisticated, woodsy blend with some warm Tonka in the background. This is one of those scents I could wear everyday 😍

Solitude in Spring time starts out with alot of golden apple and pear on initial application. The apple is golden and warm and the pear brings a sweetness. After the initial dry down phase the fruit settles down and let's the dewy lily take the spotlight, backed up by some delicate cherry blossom. The fruit brings a sweetness and stops the lily from becoming high pitched. The cherry blossom seems to hide behind the lily but I can still smell it adding an overall floral softness. I can also smell the white musk in the background. After an hour or so of wear time I get more cherry blossom, white musk and pear. The lily has settled into the scent. My overall scent impressions are that this is a dewy, soft, pale pink floral backed by the fruits . I think that the lily, dew covered grass, apple and pear are the more dominant notes here. The cherry blossom and white musk come out with longer wear time. It's a feminine and slightly perfumey scent, that suits its name.
