    Black Cat

Starts out very minty, with some vaguely herbal in the background. Drys down to be a soft herbal rose, slightly powdery. I ordered this to lift my spirits and in hopes of taking my mind off stressful things going on in my life. It's refreshing and uplifting when first applied, I wish that I wasn't left with just dusty rose in the end.

    Bewitched

This is mostly tea, sage and berries on me. It's a little sweet and perfumey - it's nice but it doesn't stand out to me. I think I prefer Glasgow as my blackberry blend

    Elegba

This was a frimp from the Lab Starts out smelling like a cocktail, or some kind of rum drink. Drys down to be sweet, buttery coconut - Yum! Liked this much better on the dry down and more than I expected. Definately a keeper.

    The Dormouse

A dizzying eddy of four teas brushed with light herbs and a breath of peony. This starts off clean and citrusy. It was cleaner and less floral than I was expecting. It's very fresh and light. After a while the peony comes out to soften it up. I love peony but I think that this has too much tea for me. I will re-test this one.

    Le Serpent Qui Danse

This is all Violet and Gardenia on my skin. I was really hoping for the Vanilla to make an appearance but it I can't smell it all. The Gardenia is the main player here and turns a bit powdery on my skin. I would have loved this if there was more Vanilla but I find that my skin eats it.

    Bordello

Bordello is so much better than I expected it to be. First of all, wine and foody scents don't normally work on me. But, this is so good. I don't get any wine, just creamy plums - that aren't too sweet. For some reason I get vanilla from this ... I guess that's from the amaretto. This has quickly made its way to the top of my bottle list!

    Snake Oil

After a few months of getting into BPAL I have finally tried Snake Oil! It was spicier than I thought it would be. I'm sure this has Patchouli in it because that is the first thing that I could smell along with the spices. The dry down is warm and spicy but I really don't get much Vanilla from this, and it's not sweet on me like it is on other people. It's not what I would usually go for, but I like it and I think that it will grow on me more over time. It also fades pretty quick on me. I'm looking forward to seeing what this is like aged. ETA: The more I wear this, the more that I love it. Definetly one for the bottle list

    Pink Moon 2012

I'm really happy that I got this! It starts out strawberries and white chocolate, at first I thought that this was going to be all chocolate. But, it actually settled down after about 15 mins and this allowed the flowers to come through, with the slightest hint of vanilla and strawberry.

    Aizen-Myoo

This started out very citrusy on my skin, I could detect a little bit of tea in the background too. It stayed that way for half an hour or so and then the cherry blossoms took over ... after that it faded away completely, my skin ate it. It's a very faint scent on me, I had to get up close to my wrist to be able to smell it. Overall, if you like citrus or tea scents then you will probably like Aizen Myoo. I don't find myself drawn to citrus scents and I was hoping for more cherry blossom - it did come out in the end but by that time it was so faint that I could hardly smell it.

    Obatala

Like someone else said, this smells like sour coconut on me. Reminds me of a coconut liqour we have or some kind of coconut cocktail. ETA: This morphs! After about an hour it turns into creamy coconut - yum I wish it started out like that.

    Kitsune-Tsuki

I can detect the daffodils and jasmine in this and when I first put it on it smelt like fresh cut flowers ... later the plum came out. Suprisingly, I don't get any musk from this which normally takes over alot of scents on me. This is really nice and fresh and probably my favorite plum scent that I have tried.

    The Temptation

I really like this one! The Temptation is mostly peach blossom on me and a soft floral - perhaps from the wisteria or rice flower. I don't get any rose or calla lily, but I can smell the black musk in the background. This is very light and refreshing, and very flirty. The first time I tired this it didn't stand out to me, but the second time I loved it! I reminds me of my other favorite -Fae, because of the peach but this is lighter, less musky and more floral. I think that I may have to get a bottle of this one.

    Bathsheba

I can smell all the notes in this - carnation, plum and musk. They are blended together really well to create a smooth, sophisticated scent. Bathsheba has depth, and smells quite similar to how Morgause smells on me. The musk in this is nice, it doesn't overpower the other notes.

    Morocco

This is so much muskier than I expected. I have tried a few musk scents lately and apparently my skin amps it and it drowns out the other notes. On me, Morroco is dominated by musk and almonds, it makes a really unusual combination. I wish this worked on me ...but my skin turns this into something strange and I have other musk scents which smell better on me.

    London

This is a delicate tea rose on me. Very subtle and light, not an overpowering rose. I was looking for a softer rose scent after I found other rose scents like Eve & Delerium too strong, and London definately fits that description and was what I was looking for. I would have ordered a bottle of London if it didn't fade on me within half an hour. I like this scent, but my skin eats it.

    Prunella

Ripe purple plums, wildflowers, and cream. Prunella is way more floral than I was expecting! It starts out dominated by florals on me, smells like a fresh green meadow and wildflowers. Plum nornally amps on my skin, so I was suprised it stayed in the background, I didn't really notice it at first. After about 15 minutes the plum comes out and smallest hint of cream. Very pretty and fresh. Great for spring.

    Moonshine and Mist

I ordered this from the Lab, because I want to try all the scents with Magnolia in them. On me this white musk and sandalwood, perhaps some undefined florals in the background. I am not getting any of the Magnolia that I was looking for. This reminds me a little bit of how Zephyr smells on me, except without the lemon. It is a soft, white scent. It's nice but I don't like it enough to get a bigger bottle, I think that I would have liked it better if the sandalwood didn't amp on my skin.

    #20 Love Oil

#20 Love Oil was a frimp from the lab I have no idea what's in this but my guess would be jasmine, citrus and maybe something like anise. It's quite fresh and bright, perhaps with the potential to turn soapy. As it dries down I can detect some Magnolia, maybe. It's bit too strong for my taste, but I could imagine wearing it if I was in the right mood. A little of this goes a long way.

    Beautiful and Adored

Beautiful and Adored is not what I was expecting. On my skin it's rose musk and sweet redcurrants. It's strong and a little goes a long way. I was expecting a more subtle, softer floral scent but this is almost fruity. I like it, but I would probably only wear it for certain occasions, or when I feel like wearing a stronger scent.

    Pink Snowballs

Like other people have said Pink Snowballs smells very similar to Snow White and I can also smell the similarities to Alice too. It's sweeter than Snow White ... it's like Alice with snow! I put this on early in the morning before I went to work, and it lasted all day! I even got a compliment that I smelt nice and that was in the afternoon. So, it has really good staying power. I like Pink Snowballs, but I think that I prefer Snow White. Pink Snowballs has something in it, which has a tendency to turn sweet on my skin. This is much nicer on the dry down, the sweetness fades away. Overall though, I will use this alot and will definately re-order if it comes back for 2012 Yules!

    Nocturne

Nocturne is mostly violet on my skin, with a hint of Tuberose. It's a soft, natural floral. I like it because it's subtle and smells like a natural skin scent. Good for days when I feel like wearing a soft scent. It smells quite lotion-y though, and I was hoping for a bit more Lilac. I am going to keep the imp and test it a few more times before deciding if I want a bottle. It's a possible bottle purchase though.

    Black Lily

Black Lily definately fits its name! It's a dark, sophisticated scent. Starts out a bit sharp but that goes away quickly. My guess is that this has lily and something quite green in it. It smells almost woody on my skin. I like it, I think that it would be great for certain occasions, like at night or in a situation that calls for something sophisticated and classy. It's very grown up and a little perfumey.

    Body, Remember

This starts out with a strong blast of sugar cane on my skin. It settles down after a few minutes, and then I can smell the coconut and perhaps something floral in the background. It reminds me of a tropical island. It's probably a bit sweet to wear everyday but I think that it would be perfect in summer especially at the beach. I like the art-work, very cute

    Lampades

Lampades starts out with Lily and the ginger & spices. I could have sworn that there was Patchouli in this because that how it smells initially. After 10 minutes or so, this becomes all berry. A spicy berry - kind of like the dewberry scent they used to have at the Body Shop ... I like it but it kind of reminds me of a berry scented candle. I will test again to see how it goes a second time around.

    Dove's Heart

I tried Doves Heart before I went to bed and it is the perfect, calming sleep blend for me. It starts out a little strong - there is definately Lavender there and maybe Lily or Lily of the Valley it dries down to become a much softer floral blend, perhaps there is some lilac in here. I was worried that this would turn sharp on me, like lavender sometimes does but it's really lovely. It is a comforting scent like the description says. I'm not sure if I would wear this as a perfume, but its good as a sleep blend or for times when you are feeling a little sad.
