    Looking for foody fall scents!

Hey guys! I'm heading back to the East Coast for my Junior year of college and looking for some delicious scents for Autumn and Winter. I find that sweet/foodie scents have the best lasting power and throw on my - my skin tends to just absorb anything green or floral or musky, which is such a drag. I'm looking for pumpkin, caramel, butterscotch, brown sugar, chocolate, vanilla, spice, wood or nut notes. Baked goods and jack o'lanterns and fall leaves, really sweet and warm and yummy. Any suggestions?

    Blood Countess

In the imp, it's very fruity, a deep, dark, seductive plum. On me, the florals definitely come out more - lots of rose and gardenia with a background of warm, boozy opium. It's very lush without being too sweet. I adore it.

    Al Azif

Imp: Sweet, dark incense. I have a fear that one of it’s base notes is similar to one in Miskatonik University, and it will go plasticky and icky on my skin, but it smells so nice in the imp. Very masculine, despite the sweetness, it smells like corrupt priesthood. Very opulent and dark and yummy. If I had a boyfriend, I would make him wear this. Wet: It definitely gets a little more feminine. It's caramel-y sweet and dark. But where did the incense go? Dry: Maybe my body is just weird, but I don't throw scents well. It's like my body absorbs them. This one was almost gone within like, half an hour, which is sad, because I quite liked it. Maybe it's the weather or the sweater I'm wearing - I'll have to try again tomorrow. I love the smell and I desperately want it to work on me.

    Bread-and-Butter-Fly

Imp: Sweet, yeasty, creamy. Smells like a slightly off tea party, but in such a good way. Wet: It smells like a little buttered white cake drowning in cream and sugar and tea. Dry: It gets a little warmer, a little darker. Brown bread, warm, caramelized sugar, black tea with just a hint of cream, and everything is slathered in butter. Toasty and yummy.

    Alice

In the bottle: Definitely floral. I love the concept of milky scents, and Alice isn’t delivering on the milk and honey. But the rose, bergamot and carnation are very present. Almost a little lemony. On: Definitely sweeter than in the bottle. Sweet, floral goodness. Drying: Roses. Roses everywhere. Delicious, big, sweet, powdery roses. I know powdery scents can be a turn-off for some people, but I'm a 20 year old goth girl with the olfactory sensibilities of an 80 year old, so it's all good to me. Smells deliciously vintage, like walking through a antique store. Dry: Roses and spice, with a clean, powdery sweetness to it. I feel extremely Victorian wearing this. Definitely getting a big bottle.

    The Red Queen

Deep mahogany and rich, velvety woods lacquered with sweet, black-red cherries and currant. This one has cherry cough syrup all over it. I thought maybe it was just in the vial that the scent was too much for me and on my skin it would mellow out but...nope. The warmth of my skin actually seemed to intensify the medicinal cherry smell. Yick. I love all of my other imps from this collection, but this one is definitely going in the swap pile.

Rose Recommendations - which blend is for me?

I just got my Imp of Alice and it's quite a innocent, powdery, rose smell. Nothing sweet, but quite ethereal and light.

    Coffee notes?

Definitely Miskatonic University. It's all Irish Coffee - sweet, dark, and delicious.

    Malediction

Definitely one heck of a scent! Strong and dark, earthy and smoky and so warm it's practically on fire. My problem with it is this - I quite like it (after it's had some time to mellow on my skin) but I highly doubt anyone else will. The scent is very sort of...voodoo graveyard queen to me, which is awesome and I feel like an undead sex kitten when I wear it, but I don't think le boyfriend will be on board.
