    Tintagel

In the imp: I smell mulled wine, musk and a little leather peeking through. It's just as good as I thought it would be! On me: There is Dragon's blood in here, so I'm very nervous when putting it on my skin. Will it be amazing or turn in to cheap lipsticks?..It is amazing! Haha! I still get mulled wine, and the other notes keep the DB in check, making it add some sweetness to the blend but no florals After about twenty minutes: Huh, smells like a good tea actually. After two hours: Gone. I wish it could have a little better staying power, but I really like it! I knew from the first time I ever heard of Tintagel that I would like it. But when I found out that Dragon's Blood works horribly on my skin, I was afraid it would make this one smell like cheap makeup. Thankfully, every other note in Tintagel drowns the DB, so I can use it!

    Twinkle, Twinkle Little Bat

In the imp: Watermelon. But even though this melon is doing everything it can to smell authentic, this is a synthetic watermelon. I'm so sorry melon..I really am. On me: Synthetic watermelon that looses it's mind and gets all crazy and candy-like on my skin. But then.. my opinions are divided. First tryout (directly after I got it in the mail, no time for rest): The watermelon leaves the party really early and instead I get green tea & lemon, delicious! However, after an hour the scent is completely gone. Second tryout (after one full day of resting after the journey to Sweden): The watermelon is staying a little longer, it doesn't really want to go yet, but when it does it leaves something horrific behind. A cavity inducing sweet and heavy perfume, like the cheap knockoff perfumes that you can find in supermarkets that smell like you mixed syrup and chemicals. It just doesn't want to go away! I had to wash it off pretty quickly or I would have gotten such a migraine.

    Ouija

This was a such bizarre scent to me. It really feels like it's trying to tell you a story, or that you are looking back at a memory..I feel like writing when I smell this! Anyway, on to the review: In the imp: Hm.. The picture in my head is telling me about a chain smoker who, for some reason, felt the need to pour a giant bottle of root beer over himself (yes, I believe it is a man) while smoking. OR He is chewing about ten or twenty Jenka bubbelgums (who smell and taste just like root beer) while one cigarette burns out after the other. On me: The smoker disappears, but the room he was in is left. You can smell the smoke that lingers in the walls, it feels lonely and dusty. After a few minutes: The scent is changing. Someone opened up a window to air out all the old smoke and roses are being placed here and there in the room to give the room a more habitable smell and some warmth. Half an hour later: The roses get some company from other flowers now, not sure what they are though. Despite all the flowers it doesn't go too sharp, sweet or old lady-like. A few hours later: The room is gone and the flowers fade away, just like if the "memory" is being forgotten or the picture crumbles of age. I'm left with just a faint whiff of sweetened skin.

    Variety of Pleasing Amusements

In the decant: Reminds me of my beloved Smut (2011), but I get leather instead of chocolate and a hint of alcohol. On me: Leather and honey mixed together seamlessly. Sweet and spicy and extremely good! And then of course, I got all teared up since Variety of pleasing amusements smells on me exactly like the perfume my ex used to wear and that I used to wear too. I love this, but I will probably not wear it - only sniff it to remember old times. It doesn't morph much either, after a while I get more tobacco, but thankfully the sweetness remains from the honey. The morning after: I can still smell it on my wrist, although it is only a faint sweetness left.

    Womb Furie

Womb Furie 2012 In the imp: Reminds me very much of A Wonderful Light. The honey is warm, comforting and very sweet. On me: I get the same sweetness as in the imp, but there is something that is trying to poke through. I believe that it's the Snake Oil who wants to join the party. I recognize the smell of this, but I've never tried Snake Oil or anything with SO in it.. I can't really put my finger on it.. Minutes later: NO! Playdough! This is the first scent that smells like Playdough on me. It's sickening sweet too. I must say that I am very disappointed with my skin right now. I read somewhere that some people get Playdough from fresh Snake Oil, so I will try to age my decant of this and hope that it will get better.

    The Vine

In the imp: Pear cider! Delicious, cold, carbonated, pear cider! I want to drink this.. On me: Pear cider mixed with honey. After a while it turns into honey-scented candles. I don't really know why my skin always wants to smell like stearine? After that, nothing else happens for a very long while. The stearine vanishes and I'm left with honey and faint vanilla, no pear. After 8 hours: A faint whiff of marshmallows. I really like it - but I would like it more if it was a marshmallow-y pear. not very strong throw, which to me is a good thing since I probably would have had a migraine otherwise.

    Cathouse Atmosphere Spray

Target of spraying: Curtains! First spritz: Hmmm.. If it didn't have the flowers, I would probably have like it. Right now it smells just like my great grandmothers bathroom. Too much flowers in here :c Half an hour later: Oh dear, no. This doesn't work for me at all! It's way too heavy on the flowers for my liking. Jasmine can never be my friend, since it has costed me a lot of migraines.

    The Night-Raven

In the imp: I get patchouli, plums and musk. There is also a very stong alcohol note in here that is not very pleasant. On me: Roses and jasmine. No patchouli, no plums, no musk and thankfully no alcohol! Several hours later: This smells exactly like Cathouse atmosphere spray from the Trading Post! Unfortunately that means that this smells like my great grandmothers bathroom. Very rose-heavy. I wish I got more of the patchouli and plums in this, but there isn't even a trace of it on my skin. I'm very sad :c

    Bathsheba

In the imp: Smoky/peppery plums. On me: Very sweet, carnation and plums. Nothing smoky/peppery on my skin, which is...good. A few minutes later: Huh. My skin just ate the scent. I have to really press my nose against the skin of my wrist in order to smell anything at all. however, all I can smell is soap. Ten minutes later: Aaah, now I can smell it again. Spicy plums. And after that it disappeared again. I want my perfume to stay and not pop around like this one did. I'm not very keen on carnation either :/

    Forbidden Fruit

In the imp: Yummy pink bubblegum! There is also something "green" in here that makes me think of flower stems.. On me: Pink bubblegum, then immediately after I get old water from a vase with flowers and a lot of citrus. After just a few minutes Forbidden Fruit turns into completely ordinary, liquid hand soap. And not the best hand soap either. Half an hour later: Very faint sweet plastic. I don't know what went wrong here, but I'm soooo sad! I really liked the bubblegum-stage and wish it could have stayed a little longer.

    Karmê (Κάρμη)

In the imp: Very green. Like a table filled with tons of newly harvested, different vegetables. As I don't eat vegetables myself, I can't pick out any of the notes in here. However, I want to say...soft dill and pepper? On me: Very fresh and green. I was afraid that I would get a mishmash of different vegetables, and I'm so happy that this isn't like that. In my head I see an early summer morning aand the vegetables are ripe and ready for the harvest. There is also something "wet" and cool about this. Like glistening drops of dew on every leaf. I can imagine that this will help you cool off in the warmer months! Several hours later: The same as before, a very fresh and different scent!

    Eat Me

Three white cakes, vanilla, and red and black currants. In the imp: Buttery cake and...nailpolish remover? You know those scented ones that are supposed to smell really good, but has this weird sickening sweetness to it instead. On me: CAKE! And a thick layer of vanilla cream. Halt an hour later: Vanilla cream, cake and a faint whiff of currant jam. Somewhere around here my head always explodes into an awful migraine and I have to scrub Eat Me off immediately. I have no idea what went wrong with Eat Me.. It's sugary and cake-y which I like, I like BPAL's vanilla and currant notes too. But this mixture is just very bad for my head. It's very sad since I thought I would love this one. It really does smell like cake, and it is truly amazing. But sadly, not on me Edited to add scent description.

    Bastet

In the imp: Myrrh, almonds and amber. On me: Amber and smokey myrrh mixed with a dash of lotus. Half an hour later: Floral myrrh with musk and amber, and something..fruity? Hm. This one isn't really a scent that I would wear, I'm not the biggest fan of myrrh. :c

    Brusque Violet

In the imp: violet and liquorice. On me: Violet. nothing more, nothing less. Yep, that's the shortest review I've ever written! Brusque Violet doesn't change on me and I can't smell anything else than violets. My mother has a really old Violet-perfume that she bought while visiting Brighton as a teen - and this smells like that, but less harsh. If you like violets, you should love this one!

    Dragon's Heart

In the imp: Hm.. The same kind of musk that's in "The Hag" with the same flowers from Wrath. Sigh. On me: Yep, flowers. I also want to say that it has that sort of smell that really cheap lipsticks has.. Ugh, dragon's blood really hates me and my skin in every way, and that sucks! Half an hour later: Still the flowery lipstick-scent. I guess it's off to the swap pile with this one, in hopes of giving it to someone with a better skin chemistry than I have.. :c

    Gaueko

In the imp: Lavendeeeeeer! A very smoky one too. On me: Yummy lavender for about 4 seconds and then Gaueko turns into a sweet and extremely smokey incense. Boo. One hour later: Still sweet incense. I wish this one had more lavender in it (or that my skin wouldn't eat it after a few seconds) and less of the incense-y note. If that would've been the case, I would have looooved this so badly since I love lavender. but now, it's off to the swap pile.

    Al-Shairan

In the imp: Orange-y incense, peach and patchouli. Huh. This actually smells really good! It's unusual for me since some of the notes (peach, patchouli and incense) are normally notes I avoid and tend to not like. On me: A dark and spicy orange & peach tea! ..Really? It's very fruity but has that dark edge that makes it interesting. I really like this one! An hour later: Still spicy tea! I don't drink tea - but this smells like it's drinkable..

    Black Annis

In the imp: Hello Liquorice! I also get some..mint in here. Yum! On me: The vetiver is behaving in this one, making Black Annis a dry or "powdery" liquorice. This is what I wanted Absinthe to smell like (but with more mint), and it is really good! An hour later: Still dry liquorice. Two hours later: Hm.. The liquorice disappeared and I'm left with some kind of manly cologne. But a soft and very gentle perfume, and not the sharpness that I usually associate with something "manly". I really like this scent a lot!

    Faustus

In the imp: Sharp laundry detergent and faint floral. Something in here reminds me of the smell of a garage..? It's very familiar but not something I can pinpoint. On me: Still sharp detergent, but warmer and more floral. One hour later: Hello violet! Now it's violet-smelling laundry detergent. Less sharp, but still nothing I like. My mother is a big fan of violets but even she didn't like this one.

    Imp

In the imp: Overripe peaches and a little mould. On me: Peaches. Warm peaches! One hour later: This one didn't morph or did anything funny at all. It's still warm peaches. Unfortunately I don't like the smell or taste of peaches. When I was a kid I had to take some medicine that tasted like rotten peaches. So NO thank you.

    The Robotic Scarab

In the imp: Hm.. Smells like the leather note in "The Bow & Crown of Conquest" mixed with Axe. Very masculine and nothing I would pick out for myself. On me: Leather and saffron. Yes, you read it! Saffron. Or is it yeast? In any case, this is a very manly smell, but in a good way. If I had a man here, I wouldn't mind if he wanted to wear this one. One hour later: Leather and saffron/yeast still. I don't mind this scent at all, but I don't think it's anything I would wear very often. I tried it on at night and barely couldn't sleep since it was so strong. But it felt like I had a man next to me, haha!

    Bordello

In the imp: Sweet and sour fruits, with creamy undertones that I can imagine comes from the Amaretto. On me: A really purple scent! I can smell the plums and the wine more than anything else. 15 minutes later: Plums and wine but now the currants have joined in to the party. An hour later: A heady mix! I imagine in my head that I'm sitting in a fancy restaurant and the dessert is just being served. Plums and currants served with Amaretto cream and a sweet red wine to go along with it. Very good, almost edible! But I think Bordello will give me a headache from time to time :/

    Voodoo

Frimp from the Trading Post In the imp: Lime, more lime and clove far behind, making the lime a little spicy. On me: Lime and clove, immediately followed by candy Cola-bottles. And after half a minute I get some patchouli as well. Voodoo is pretty smokey, but not in a "burned" kind of way that I often associate with vetiver. It's playing nice and gives Voodoo depth to the candy-smell. One hour later: Very weird. I can still pick up the lime in there, bright and shiny still. But now it's mostly clove, patchouli and a touch of vetiver. It actually works and I can't stop sniffing my arm! Very delicious. This was nothing I would've picked out myself, but I'm very happy that I got to try this! Very good and a keeper! The next day: I tried this again because it was so good, but this time on my neck instead of my wrists. It smells more like cola and lime on my neck than on my wrists, but I looove this scent! It has good staying power and quite good throw. My mother said it smells like some kind of ice cream to her, haha! I have a feeling that I will reach for this scent quite often since it doesn't give me a migraine. Yum!

    Okiya Atmosphere Spray

Target of spraying: My curtains First spritz: A very bright green scent, floral and peppery. I immediately think "Springtime : D" when I smell it - which is very nice indeed. It's a sweet, light floral note in here, and it all goes well together! After half an hour: Still very green and bright. The Cherry blossmoms are dancing around with the pepper, celebrating the arrival of springtime in my head. Very fresh and clean smelling! This one will fit our kitchen during spring! Mostly because our kitchen during spring/summer is decorated in every colour of the rainbow and flamingos. Okiya would make it very fresh and help brighten up the room even more!

    The Fainting Couch Atmosphere Spray

Target of spraying: My curtains! First spritz: Very stong and sweet smell. When I first spray it there is also a strong alcohol-note. Luckily that disappears rather quickly and I'm left with roses, roses, roses! After half an hour: Woooh, strong rose and tea! I feel like you're having tea in a small room that is filled with different kinds of roses. Rose-bouquets on every surface, rose-patterned wallpaper, roses climbing in the curtains, roses in every painting, rosepetals on the floor.. And then dark, black tea Very heavy on the rose for my taste, but I quite like it anyway. I can totally see my grandmother use this when she redecorates her bedroom to a romantic, white and golden room (right now it's dark plum/purple and black..)!
