This may be my own weird nose or body chemistry, but I get a definite hazelnut scent from Lights of Men's Lives as it's drying down. The first 4-5 hours of it seem to be an equal blend of hazelnut and wax. Now, I don't hear a lot of other people describing it that way - so your mileage may vary.

The wax note was strong on me in other scents but I haven't tried this one specifically... Does it have a suede scent at all?

I'm not sure about the woodsy part, but Enraged Groundhog Musk is nutty as heeeeelllll.

Really? I so wanted to smell cherry but all it was on me was pure nutty evilness! This was about two years ago though, I'll have to try it again...

Try it again! Maybe age brought out the cherry!

For a hazelnut scent, I definitely recommend the LE BlackBear Moon. It's so much hazelnut for me that it honestly reminded me of the smell of hazelnut coffee creamer at first, until I got past that to notice the scent of pine sap, acorn, honey, and fur under it. There's supposed to be berries and cherries in its scent as well, but I just got a warm, musky scent with hazelnuts and honey in the forefront.

 

I realized very quickly that it made me smell like a fresh baklava, not that this is a bad thing!

I did have that one and on me it was a little too buttery and not sweet enough. And it had a hay note (too me) that I don't really like.

I'm looking for something more sexy and woodsy I think...

I'm looking for a scent that smells like "walnuts and suede" PLEASE HELP!

I bet you'd like Pickled Imp- cinnamon, clove, vanilla, and pine sap (it's wonderful). March Hare is also a nice clove, but it's discontinued and hard to come by.

I considered Pickled Imp but I don't really like pine. And March Hare is tough to get.

I'm gonna have to try Gingerbread Poppet again. I had an older version but sold it off since it didn't last long on me. Maybe a new version would stay better? Hope it's in Yules this year...

This may be a long shot but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good sweet clove scent? I love the smell of clove cigarettes so I want that but sweet and foodie too!! Please help!!

The Lilith-series (the Tremulous Song) that contained Love was taken down in June I believe. I have a bottle of Love, and it's the best rose-scent I've ever smelled! It's not marshmallow-y on me, just sweet and creamy roses.

Ahhh! Well if it's mainly rose it probably wouldn't work for me.

What is this Love fragrance you speak of sounds lovely...off to hunt!

I need to know what scents you all think embodies Vanellope Von Schweetz from Wreck It Ralph! She is adorable and I love her! So what scent would she wear? I need to know and I need to own it! LOL

So I recently got my hands on some Plastic Pink Flamingo and it is quite good! It sticks close, but its got that sugary sweetness that I wanted. I tried a few bubblegumy scents with little luck (I'll stick to Smut for that), they all tended to disappear on me really quickly, but marshmallow has been kind to me. My favorite marshmallow scent is still actually Haus of Gloi's Ghost Puffs, but PPF is definitely more "pink" and has a hint of the dandelion sap. I may layer it with the dandelion sn to see how it'd be with a bit more of it. I've been dabbing lightly for work, but I'm gonna try to slather a bit more on to test the wear to see if its the scent I was looking for.

 

Despite my best judgement, I am getting a decant of Bubblegum and Roses. We'll see how that goes.

I felt the same about PPF, it smells good but faded fast on me. I wanted it to last longer!! I actually LOVE HoG's Ghost Puffs too, I used up my bottle but it was lovely!!!

I too am curious about Bubblegum and Roses because I want a LONG lasting bubblegum scent...can't wait to hear your review...

I love this one too! (I also loved my Pumpkin V a moment ago) I was hoping for cheesecake and I got it! The apple is of the spicey variety but that is also good because I'm not a big apple fan. This has strong throw and I loved the art too...just wish I could see the Beaver! (haha that sounded bad, lol)

I love this! First Pumpkin scent that is a win! And I had a feeling because it was drowned in vanillas. I do smell the vague pumpkin but it's mainly vanilla and spice and I LOVE that!

After reading Herb Girl's review I figured I'd go test my bottle too. And it is delicious!! I put some on my arm and it's gooey Marshmallow fluff with pumpkin pie too! Pumpkin doesn't always work on me in perfume oils but in this bath oil it's heavenly! I love it! WIN!

Pumpkin Latte 2011 has the roasted coffee bean smell, but it blends in with the pumpkin, yet it's not that difficult to distinguish it.

Pumpkin Latte didn't work on me. The Lab's pumpkin doesn't at all. But I did get this one and had high hopes but no.

Anyone else think aged Goblin is remarkably similar to Banshee Beat? The coconut is barely there and I find them amazingly similar. (note to self - age bottle of Goblin!)

Yes they are VERY similar. They have the same patchouli. But I do like the vanilla in BB over the coconut. But they are totally related!

Hey all just read through this whole thread but wanted to know what foodie coffee scents do you recommend now? I know more must have been released...or maybe not. I tried Miskatonic University and I LOVE the sweet irish coffee scent when it hits my skin wet but after it dries it's all dusty and wood. No more sweet fooodie irsh cream coffee.

I want the sweet foodie creamy coffee scent please. Eggnog Latte sounds like something I'd love but hope it's not too hard to track down...but I hope for more recs from you all. I love longevity and throw too.

2008 -- This is amazing! It smells like I'm baking gingersnap cookies and have a large pile of cookie dough in front of me while I'm sipping on Buttered Rum. I'd have to be drunk to bake because I can't cook! . It just smells so much like spiced sugar cookie dough and I love it. I never smell any orange but thats ok there is plenty of other foodie gorgeousness to hold me over without it.

2013 -- This is still the same delicious butter rum scent of 2008 but with a little less of the cookie note. It has lower throw and shorter wear time too. But still super delicious!
