  1. Looking for some sweet foodie cherry scents...but not cough syrupy.

I have tried Cherry Armaretto Puddin, it was yummy but faded fast. What other cherry scents do you all love? I am curious to try Monster Bait: Bloody Mary after reading some of this thread... ;)

    Any more???

  2. Maybe not overly foody, but I thought of Zephyr when I envisioned your hair! It has that citrus-vanilla thing going on that can be a little bit foody, and other than that it's just very light and pretty.

Also, the recent 13 from December is a great light foody scent with white chocolate, coconut and pomegranates. :yum: That might fit as well.

    Thanks! Great choices! ;)

  3. I should've listed things I've tried with strawberry. ;) Thanks for the suggestions TheIceMaiden! I added my notes next to each one...

BEAVER MOON 2007: This was light on me and faded fast

BEAVER MOON 2010: Sold this bottle off because it was more fruity then creamy

L'ESSENCE DE L'ENGOUEMENT: Again it was too light for me

WHITE CHOCOLATE AND STRAWBERRY: This along with other older chocolate scents got weird on my skin but did smell awesome in the bottle.

WHITE CHOCOLATE, STRAWBERRY, AND WHITE PEPPER TRUFFLE This I never tried or smelled so hmmm maybe. :D

I did just get in a bottle of Love (Pickman Gallery) and it's sweet strawberry and vanilla...loving it so far...maybe this is the one! ;)

  4. I have a odd request for a scent...

I want something that smells like Strawberry Milk tastes. Like good old strawberry syrup (or Nestle powder) in milk stir it up and smell! Or something like a strawberry milkshake maybe would work...sweet strawberry (no green) and vanilla. :yum:

    Hope you guys can help...

  5. annemathematics what a lovely post. You are so right! I gotta stick to my gut. ;)

Waiting now for Lupers to show up in case I want one too, but definately thinking I'll get MSUPC! It's the one pulling at my heart strings, making my gut squirm.

Been reading all the reviews for both scents and will definately add my review as well when I get the bottle! :wub2:

  6.

Sometimes I get mint-like notes from absinthe/aniseed-type scents and pepper from pimento (Ichabod Crane has a wonderfully true pimento in it but it is LE). Lemon verbena also gets warm-herbal minty on me too.

I loved Ichabod Crane, but for me it felt more masculine and not too minty.

  7.

I wore both of those scents today. The mint faded out fast on both. Lick It Now lasted, in total, about an hour on my wrist. Peppermint Creams lasted about six hours.

Six hours is pretty good not many scents last that long on me anyway! And I echo annemathematics's question about the different mints...please describe! ;)

  8. Need some help on yummy mint scents...I oddly really want a mint scent right now. But something minty sweet, vanilla like, and long lasting. I can't decide between Lick It Now 2013 or Mother Shub’s Unmentionable Peppermint Creams?? I read the reviews and I'm still not sure.

I love the buttery cream mint of MSUPC but I hear Lick It Now has better staying power...please help me!!! And a random note...I LOVE Braving The Ice. ;)

  9. This scent makes me think of honey bees swimming in patchouli! Not sure how that would work but that's the image I get! :wub2:

UPDATE: Sadly Tricksy has gone off badly for me twice. Not sure why but it starts ok then when I wear again it goes bad. I just have to give up and realize we won't get along, lol. :(

  10. 2012 Version:

On me this is sexy sweet smokey chocolate. It has tons of sludge too, but I love it! :yum:

EDIT 1/27/14: oddly enough I started not digging the cocoa in this. Love all the other notes but may not keep the bottle and just use up my decant.

  11. I dig the sludge too! But I also dig the BPALs with globules - they're like little lava lamps in a bottle :) The one that most comes to mind is Hellhound On My Trail - my bottles of that all have black globules in them

Oooooh globules!!!! I'll take that too! Thanks SSDB for the recs you are so awesome!!! :wub2:

  12. Resurrecting this thread because I have fallen in love with the sludge in my Black Temple Burlesque Troupe bottle and wanted to know what other scents have glorious amounts of sludge!? It's been a while since this thread started so I am sure there are a lot more you all can add...

Why do I love the sludge...lets just say it's thick, interesting, and I dig it. Call me crazy!

  13. Sensual sugared patchouli.

I love Silkybat! I really do hope it comes in a perfume oil in the future!!! I get lots of patchouli and the sugary goodness right away! This was just a spray test though...can't wait til baby is sexing up my hair too. LOVE! :wub2:

EDIT: Love this in my hair it does wonders for frizz and smoothness just wish the scent lingered longer. ;)

  14.

That is actually my exact experience as well. I much prefer Red. ;)

Just as an aside, I actually thought #occupy was Black, because it is extremely gnarly on me and not like BB at all.

I highly recommend Tricksy as a rich, delicious Patch blend. :yum:

OctoberGwen you love your Tricksy! I almost bought it too, but then decided to give Silkybat HG a try instead. ;)

I was leaning towards Red and all your opinions definately helped me see the differences in the two. Thanks! :wub2:
