    Undertow

I am finding this going all eucalyptus on me, maybe with a hint of juniper. mind you, this only while wet. Once it is dry it smells much nicer. Honestly don't know what to make of it. It all seems to depend on what angle i sniff my wrist at? I can smell a hint of lolly mints now. The hard-boiled kind. I can live with it, but its far from a favourite. Might see if it suits one of my Australian Lush fiends.
  2. Thats just too funny O_W. Since most people seem to have thought the other way with the question. In this case you were the only one on mark so to speak.

    something NOT sexy

Well done Miss Lynx. Wear something for you, to hell with any advances, just tell them politely thanks but no thanks, you should meet my big brute of a SO, and he's real possessive of me. See how that goes?

    Samhain

Well it was this oil that first tempted me to BPal. Andi purchased one of another forumite for which i am grateful. In the bottle, i can smell the vicks vapour rub type smell others have mentioned. And this isn't a bad thing. I was slightly worried about it but decided i had to try some. On me, woww, so many scents to decipher. Dry, the sharpness has faded into the background and i'm left with a much softer note. I can still smell the spiced pumpkin, but there is so much more that i find difficult to describe. There is a slight hint at sweetness too.

    Magus

Well, i have just tried Magus for the first time and my review might not be up to scratch but i have to start somewhere right? Wet i wasn't sure i would like this. It smelled like the cedar chips a few other people have mentioned. On Drydown, its thankfully softened nicely. It has a kind of powdery scent now, a hint of sweetness. And definately sandalwood coming through, which is in itself a sweet smelling timber. And its sitting well on my skin. I like it. Given that this is only the second oil i have tried i am loathe to score it out of 10.

    Are bpal blends all-natural?

I know from various incense blending books that some scents can be recreated by using a "bouquet", a blend of several different oils. Musk, civet and ambergris are 3 that i can think of off the top of my head.
