I have to be honest... I only ordered this blend because of the name. My 160+lb Mastiff/Great Dane mix is named Odin and he's my pride and joy. He was named after the Norse God because a big powerful dog needed a big powerful name. *enough rambling* This scent is devine. Truly sensual, manly musk in it's perfection. On my wrist it takes on a sweet, spicey and darkly complex blend of woods and herbs. On my fiance, it smells like delicious man-musk and darks woods. *drool* This has deffinately become a "top 10" BPAL for me.

OMG... I *love* Hellion... This could be the most *perfect* "me" scent ever... Black plum+ Nag champa+ dark musk+ patchouli +sandalwood= Perfection This scent is so rich, warm and sexy... I'm resisting the urge to slather it on... After my heartbreaking experience with La Fee Verte, I'm tempted to *beg* people to swap with me so I can have *more* Hellion... *sigh* What to do....

I feel like the only one NOT crazy about La Fee Verte... it smells like lemon-lime bathroom cleaner on me. *yuck* No honey notes, no sugar or booze or wormwood... just Sprite-scented bathroom cleaner. The bottle is *so* pretty... I absolutely *adore* all things Absinthe... and I love little statue... *sigh*...

OMG this is decadent... smokey tobacco, warm syrupy caramel and sweet spicey currants. Nothing buttery or foody on me except an initial strong caramel note that fades as soon as the oil dries. The tobacco is a little strong at first, but mellows quickly to a sweet, smokey backdrop for the spicey sweet currant/caramel notes. There is almost a coffee or expresso note in this, but it's faint-- like someone had been drinking rich dark black coffee with cream in the room moments before. This should be a fun scent to let age. I have a feeling it'll really be amazing in a few months.

Warm rich dirty musk and earth... maybe a slight hint of sweet juniper berries... I'm so glad I bought this scent. It's complex and thick, warm and animalistic. There is almost no change to it the longer I wear it.

OMG this is so damn good. And the different lables on the bottles are too 'effing cute! This scent is so sexy. My fiance is very "excited" about this one. He loves when I wear Snake Charmer or Perversion, but he says this is his new favorite on me. It's sweet, slinky, sexy and just a little bit naughty... perfection!

This is the ULTIMATE *sexy* feminine BPAL scent. White musk and patchouli? How can you not *LOVE* this scent? After finally testing my little frimp of this, I'm hooked... I *need* more. It's soft, sexy, feminine and alluring... my fiance is also in love with this scent... He keeps sniffing me and kissing my neck... I think I have a new top 5 BPAL scent...

This is warm, spicey and a little perfumey on me. I love it! The moss notes are musty and earthy, with hints of cedar bark. Spicey black pepper, and sweet juniper berries with underlying cardamom create a complex and gorgeous scent. This has staying power too! After 5 hours I can still smell it on my wrist. Very nice.

There is something oddly attractive/familiar about Puck... it's animalistic and powerful... not for the faint of heart. At first it smells like someone poured gasonline, sunscreen and grape juice into a bowl and swirled it around a few times... There is a "mechanical" smell to this, like motor oil... This reminds me of being in my bother-in-law's shop, working on my little Honda Express moped... oil stains, grease, sweat and his rottweilers... Honestly I like Puck... but I don't think I'd ever wear it/ use it for a room scent/ open it again...

Seduction, sensuality, the Act, and the aftermath all in one. The scent of warm, damp skin flushed with the glow of passion, touched by the luxuriant potency of ylang ylang and myrrh. This is a deep, richer version of O. The vanilla note is gorgeous on my skin. My fiance claims to like this better than "O" but not as much as Snake Oil--whatever that means-- This has some serious staying power too! I dabbed a little bit on before going out last night, and I could still smell it this morning before I took a shower! Sweet, sexy and long-lasting!

Burning hot Cinnamon and something earthy... like the smell of hot, sun soaked rocks in the desert. There is also a sharp medicinal quality to Salamander... I really like this. Very firey, unique and powerful BPAL. edited because I can't spell

Frimp from the Lab: Spicey amber and bitter peach... very rough and sharp... I like the amber note, but the peach is unsetteling... it makes me slightly queasy. I had to wash this scent off my wrist... Off to the swap pile

Frimp from the Lab: Jasmine Overpowering, sickly sweet Jasmine... I was hoping for more musk and incense, but sadly this is almost single note Jasmine on me. Off to the swap pile...

This is sharp and medicinal like Medicine Man from the Carnival Noir series... Very green, it almost burns my nose to sniff it. It's a very energizing scent... I'll keep it around for mornings when I can't wake up...

Frimp from the Lab: Mmm... Opium... I love BPAL's opium note... it smells *so* good. Sadly the narcissus goes all powdery and stale on my skin.

Evocative of the sea's unplumbed mysteries. Gentle and lovely, but menacing and profound. Coconut, Florentine iris, hazelnut and opalescent white musk. Ack... this smell like cheap coconut tanning oil smothered in hazelnut liqueur. It's yummy and creamy... just not something I would wear as a perfume. My fiance thought I had opened a bottle of sunscreen... Fiance- "Why do you need sunscreen? It's the middle of January" Me- " It's not sunscreen, it's Black Pearl from BPAL" Fiance- "cool, Like from the Pirates movie?" Me- "sure..."

Frimp from the Lab: Carnations!!! and spicey musk with a hint a sweet plum juice... This is so feminine and lovely. The musk threatens to go powdery on my skin, but quickly fades. This is absolute floral gorgeousness! I love when the lab sends me frimps I would never try on my own!

My fiance is a Capricorn, so I was anxious to try his "sign"... Wow this is sharp, strong, medicinal smelling in the vial... almost too overpowering to try on... After a few minutes, it warms to a sweet cedar/ patchouli scent... very masculine, powerful and sexy.

Rich cinnamon and spicey cloves drenched in decadent Dragon's Blood... OMG this is good. Mars was one of the Celestials I was really looking forward to trying (besides Aries) and I'm not disappointed at all! This is spicey, peppery and sweet... strong and sexy... gorgeous!

Whoa juicy mangos! Fresh, fat perfectly ripe mangos! After that, there is a medicinal/flowery sage undertone with hints of something bitter (maybe the musk?). I love this scent, but it really burns my skin and doen't really smell good as a room scent... Off to the swaps.

A deep, rumbling scent, warm, soft and as cozy as a dog by a hearthfire, but with a fierce and feral soul: deep chocolate, deeper musks, with a dash of fig, bittersweet walnut, and the wild essences of juniper berry, cubeb and rum. Musky, sexy oranges and pine needles. With a slight boozy undertone. This is very sexy... The cocoa note isn't nearly as strong as I expected, leaving a bitter-sweet memory of hotchocolote amongst the other notes.

A bat-friendly bouquet! Evening primrose, night-scented stock, moonflower, night phlox, lemon balm, lavender, honeysuckle, sweet sage, salvia and thyme. Honeysuckle and lavender with a hint of lemony-citrus. The citrus fades quickly, and the lavender becomes more pronounced. Deffinately an excellent night time scent. Very pretty and comforting.

This starts off juicy and woodsy... slightly musky. Overall very sexy. However as it fades, something in it turns powdery and sickly sweet... Thankfully it fades quickly.

Cracked Bell is musky sweet dragon's blood on me. Very pretty, I wish I had ordered a bottle, but the reviews scared me off. This has a hint of incense sweetness, but I don't get anything metalic like some do... Very sexy blend.

This smells justl ike toothpaste on my skin... I really like it, and plan to keep an imp around for clearing my sinuses when I have allergies.... Ditto! This was really pretty, I didn't expest to like it. It was a frimp from a forum trade. Sweet, almost buttery mint, lasted all day! Wow!
