    All Night Long

So far all I am smelling is the cinnamon...there's a darker scent mixed in that I can't quite decipher yet. Unfortunately, cinnamon scents tend to have a bad reaction with my skin...I am starting to develop the tingly burning feeling that's telling me to get this one off my body now. I may try it in a oil burner (if I ever buy one), but I won't be wearing it again.

    Input, please!

Name - Dee URL - BlackRayne Photo, if you don't mind - I need to do a new one (my hair's dark blue now!), but here's the most recent: Sin of choice [Not the scent, the proper sin] - Wrath Virtue you embody - loyalty Astrological Info - Leo, Capricorn rising How you found out about BPAL - I first heard of the site on GothicAuctions several years ago, but didn't become an addict until I started chatting with Beth on the GothAuctions forums last year.

    Le Serpent Qui Danse

Soft, light floral with a hint of vanilla. This on me is very sweet and innocent and feminine and ever so slightly powdery. I don't know if I will wear it often, as I am far from sweet, innocent or feminine, but it is definitely a lovely scent.

    Bordello

Yum. I think I could get drunk off the smell of this. Berry with a light hint of wine mixed in. Add a splash of Amaretto. This scent reminds me of the scene in Tombstone where Doc says "Kate. You're not wearing a bustle. How lewd." (And just as a character reference, I *love* that movie, and that is one of my two favorite scenes in it. )

    Lady MacBeth

Mmmmmmm...finally got a chance to try Lady MacBeth! Sweet and fruity, yet devious. It reminds me of a bottle of Raspberry Lambic, which I positively love and adore and cannot find at any of the good restaurants (or beer distributors for that matter!) around here! Just thinking of the Raspberry Lambic brings back fond memories of a girl I know, and I cannot stop sniffing myself because of it! I Lady MacBeth!

    shipping confirmation emails

I just found my most recent one...it is from "DeliveryConfirmationAlert@uspsshippingapis.com" and the subject line is "Delivery Confirmation Number".

What do bottles and labels look like?

The cute little round corked bottles are used on occasion for the oils, but Elizabeth primarily uses the cobalt screw-top ones. I have a few of the round bottles, and while I love them, I have had to replace several corks due to them getting wedged inand then breaking off...in fact, my signature scent E. made for me is currently unusable due to this exact problem. I need to get more replacement corks so I can get the last of the one currently stuck in it out and recork it with a new one. Anyway...I have never seen a 10ml bottle, but I am pretty sure they are a larger cobalt-blue screw-topped bottle. I do, however, have some other oils from E. in larger (possibly 10ml) clear glass sorta-rectangle shaped corked bottles, so I may very well be wrong. At any rate...I love all the pretty different bottles Elizabeth uses. *edited because the font color I originally used is very hard to read*

I *love* the new layout! It is just stunning! <- for all the hard work that has been put into this place!

    Luna

Cherries, combined with a light, soft flower and a hint of spice...definitely fruity, but in an exotic way. After about ten minutes, more floral, less fruit...but still quite yummy.

    Hiring.

Beth...you already know that I'd fly out there in a heartbeat to help out if I could...I really wish I could clone myself so you could have your own, personal slave. Hopefully you will find an honest, respectable, hard-working part-timer soon.

    Spellbound

Soft. Floral. Almost powdery...but not in a grandmotherly way. I can possibly see myself wearing this on the rare occasion I am feeling feminine...I picture it in my mind with a flowing silk nightgown, soft romantic music, and champagne.

    Belladonna

This to me smells of a blend of pine, a hint of eculaptyus, and something light and floraly that I can't quite decipher. It reminds me of a stroll through the woods in the summer, just before a heavy storm. It is an intriguing, slightly upllifting scent.

    Namaste

When I first smelled this from the vial, I didn't like it too much...wearing it is a completely different story, though! I find this very calming, yet refreshing because of the hint of lemon. Slightly smoky, but slightly more floraly. A perfect blend.

    Blood

Sniffing this from the bottle, I smell lots of cherry. As soon as I put it on, that changed to clove, though...I can smell hints of the other ingredients in it, primarily the myrrh then the dragon's blood...the cherry is barely noticable now, though there is still the faint hint of sweetness in this. This is a rather interesting scent, but not one I will be wearing, as the smell of cloves has always bothered me.

    Aureus

It is a very familiar scent to me, though I can't identify what is familiar about it...possibly the amber, as I was wearing Haunted earlier and thus had amber fresh in my mind. It reminds me of the woods in the early fall after a cool rain...with a wood stove burning somewhere nearby. Wet leaves on the ground. A hint of warmth in the air, but still cool enough to require a light jacket. I really like this one, though I didn't expect to.

    Haunted

I really like the blend of sweetness (I assume from the amber) with musk here. It almost has a light, powdery feel to it, but it is subtle (or maybe there's still a faint bit of Queen Mab on me from early this morning). I really like this one...I can see myself wearing it on occasion.

    Anne Bonny

I am more of a fan of lighter fragrances, so this one to me after first applying it is a little too strong. Ten minutes later, it has settled down some, but still isn't something I would wear. It is too much like a strong incense for me, which usually gives me a headache, and this fragrance is no exception. Chris just sniffed it on me and said it smells like sea salt and old wood...so while it does capture the essence of Anne Bonny, it isn't going to be on my "to wear" list.

    Queen Mab

Lightly floral, with a sweetness similar to that of honey. I don't know what it is in this blend that makes it this sweet, but I *love* it.

    Black Forest

This scent evokes feelings of being lost in a dark, dense forest of pines, with eyes glowing at you from the shadows. After about ten-fifteen minutes the musk starts coming through, there are definately animals roaming in this forest with me.

    Twilight

Very floraly...the lavender, jasmine and honeysuckle blend so well together that I can't identify one in particular as being dominant...it reminds me of walking through a garden in the summer after a nice rain. I am not sure exactly which one of the flowers it is, but one of them doesn't like me and is givine me a bad headache...this happened the first time I tried this particular scent too, so while I like it, I'm not going to be able to wear it.

    Dragon's Milk

Soft, sensual, sweet, seductive. All these are thoughts that come to mind when I think of dragon's blood on it's own. Add the warmth of vanilla, and I am in heaven. I applied this about three hours ago, and loved it while in the bottle, loved it while fresh on my skin, and love it now. I don't notice a powdery feel to it, but it may change a bit more in another hour or so. I can definately see myself wearing this when I am feeling a bit on the feminine side (as I am naturally a tomboy that isn't often), or when I just want to sit around sniffing myself all day.

    Cathedral

I have only been inside Catholic churches a handful of times, and most of those were for funerals. This scent captures the essence of the church perfectly. Great for people who like the smell of churches...I do not fit into that category, though.

    Eidolon

As soon as I opened the bottle I was consumed by a refreshing lemony scent. I instantly felt my mood uplift a bit, and smiled for the first time in many hours. I like this scent on my skin...it is energizing, uplifting and invigorating. I think I'll keep this one handy for days when I feel a little blah.
