    Morocco

I don't get it. I can barely smell anything! Its so so so soft with no throw at all. On me anyway. Velvet did the same thing. I guess I expected it to be "spicer" like everyone has said. If I sniff REALLY hard it is pleasant and yummy though. Wonder if my imp was just unusual? lol Or perhaps because it is fresh from the lab? Update: Ok so I got a bottle (aged) I was wrong. Morocco is beautiful. Glad I took everyone's advice and gave it another chance.

    Mme. Moriarty, Misfortune Teller (2006)

I have found my favorite scent ever. Mme Moriarty, Misfortune teller is everything I love in a scent! I smell more fruit in the bottle. A fruity snake oil. But not overly fruity or sweet. Just perfect. Snake oil was a scent that grew on me. I became addicted to it. But this is so much better than snake oil... On my skin the musk starts to come out. I'm not a huge "musk" fan, but the red musk is yummy. Perhaps I should try more scents with red musk! The fruit remains in the background. As more time passes a smoky, resinous vanilla remains. And that is a wonderful thing. I am so happy I got a bottle of this. I guess I should stock up on it. Its my heaven in a bottle

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

I also really enjoy Sinner. I'm not sure if any bpal scent really has the same feel for me, but you might try: *Eclipse (Bewitching Brews) - "A delicious blend of bitter almond, vanilla, frankincense and heliotrope, with a drop of cinnamon." Kinda has a similar dark, sweet, spiced vanilla quality. *Sin (Sin & Salvation) - "Thouroughly corrupted: amber, sandalwood, black patchouli and cinnamon." If you liked the spicy-earthy-sweet aspects of Sinner, this is like the cinnamon and patchouli amped up. *Mme Moriarty (not currently available, but I'd definitely recommend picking up a bottle of this when the Carnaval collection is back up and running) - "Red musk, vanilla bean, pomegranate, patchouli leaf and wild plum." The vanilla really stands out a lot for me in Sinner. If you like the vanilla-y qualities, look into these blends: *The Antikythera Mechanism (Steamworks) - "Teakwood, oak, black vanilla, and tobacco." *Black Opal (Bewitching Brews) - "A play of geological darkness and jagged brilliance. Soft and luminescent with flashes of black fire." *Dorian (Sin & Salvation) - "A Victorian fougere with three pale musks and dark, sugared vanilla tea." *Hunger (Ars Amatoria) - "Black narcissus, orange blossoms, and vanilla." *Lyonesse (Wanderlust) - "Golden vanilla and gilded musk, stargazer lily, white sandalwood, grey amber, elemi, orris root, ambergris and sea moss." You're awesome! I have some of those imps on the way I am really wanting some of the Mme Moriarty! I'm going to be adding these to my wishlist.

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

I am looking for something that smells similar to Kat Von D's SINNER perfume. I LOVE it. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated as I am new to Bpal!

    Perversion

Perversion is my favorite scent ever. That is all.

    Velvet

Revised: Initially I didn't care for Velvet. But I recently received an imp from a forum member and I love it. I doubt its something I'd wear out but its definitely something I'd wear on lazy days when I need something comforting. I can also see wearing this before bed.

    New Orleans

Jasmine Soap Its a shame because the city is so close to my heart. I wanted it to be a beautiful scent. Oh well.

    Dorian

This was the first oil I ordered and was shocked at how beautiful this scent is. The description is dead on. I never thought the tea note would be something I would want to wear. I was wrong. Its very wearable. I love Dorian and it will forever be one of my favorites.

    Vixen

In the bottle all I got was patchouli and was so disappointed. But after giving it a shot I found it morphed beautifully into a much lighter, brighter scent with the patchouli just lingering in the background. I LOVE this blend and I am so happy I gave it a second chance!
