In the Bottle: It does remind me of a men's aftershave though I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm a little bit leery since there's a strong aquatic note and that usually doesn't like me. Wet: Minty? A little watery. Cucumbers? o.o Dry Down: Sweat. Not horribly so, but it's lurking there in the background. That and I noticed that my skin's turned red and is getting slightly puffy. Hello handsoap, goodbye Talvikuu.

    Sepulcher

Sepulcher - Anniversary Edition In the bottle: I smell roses. Mmm. Wet: Stark, cold, green. A young mossy rose. Like walking through an ice queens garden. Dry Down: It tickles my nose. Slowly warming, but still with a certain distance. There's this faint spike of citrus oddly enough which keeps fading in and out. Makes me keep sniffing my wrist. Have to agree with Queen Fae, the smell is beautifully clean but not comorting like Dirty. UPDATE: Oh dear, turned to soap. T-T

When I read the description for the scent, I decided I needed to a bottle because it sounded like something that would suit me (florals and woods). But I was highly disappointed. In the bottle: Sweet, smells of berries. Can't detect florals or woods. Reminds me of dimetap (sp?). Very put off, did not try it. Wet: Still like dimetap... something about it makes me uncomfortable. Sickly sweet. Still no woods or florals. Drydown: Still very sweet. Very little change. Unpleasent, sniff memory? Don't know but something makes me twitchy. After thinking about it for a few minutes, I realized it reminded me of this horrible stuff that my mum use to make me take when I was sick. It was supposed taste like cherries (but didn't) and smelled almost exactly like this. I'm afraid I won't be keeping this one at all. Few minutes: Turns soapy. Saddness.

In the bottle: Rather then the grape that everyone else seems to get, I get cherries with a faint spike: Wet: Sweet, slightly spicy. As it dried down, there was this faint kick that reminded me of cinnamon and nutmeg. Dry: It's strange (and wonderful), this scent switches between that sweet cherries with the spiciness in the background to this sear, baked earth smell with the spiciness dominating. It keeps going back and forth. I love this scent. I opened it and it instantly lifted my mood. I think I'm going to have to get a bottle.
