Why do you think I had to edit my post twice. Bouncing and typing do not mix

I see em. I am so glad about the imp ear thing. Really. That seemed like so much work. Pretty, yes, but very labor intensive YEY for the new update! YeY! for cheaper imps! WHO HOO! How nice is a free 5ml bottle. I am starting to yammer now. (ccnow was working fine for me, BTW. Not that I ordered. Must be nice and send Beth money order. Must be nice and send Beth money order that she can keep all for herself without evil ccnow getting any. Is the post office open now?)

    What scents are masculine? Gender-neutral?

My boy loves desade.... hence his glowing review. And I would have to say I love it on him. Whitechapel also smells great. Golden Priapus smells great on both of us. We may end up fighting over what is left of the imp. Which would really be fair since I have four times as many imps as he does.

    Embalming Fluid

I agree, this does smell just like Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea without any lemon at all for me. I did like Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea at one time, but now it sort of brings back bad memories, so I can't really keep using this. However, it is a really pretty, light summer scent with lots of green teaness and light florals to it. Had I no bad scent associations, I am sure that I would love this.

    Kitsune-Tsuki

Well, I got this in a swap and I am so glad to have tried it, but boy, does my chemistry do a number with this one. Nail polish. That's it. Wet nail polish from being on to the bitter end. Even my boy said, "umm, you are trading that one away, right?" *sigh*. Like I keep telling myself, if they all worked out I would need to add a room onto my house to store all of the bottles in.

    Aureus

I love amber. I really really do. Almost all of the scents that I really love have amber in them somewhere. This, however, is straight sandelwood on me. Not a whole lot else. I like sandalwood, but I would have liked the amber to come out more. Hense, I will probably use the imp, but I don't think I will buy a bigger bottle. This is also one scent that stays the same on me wet and through the dry down. It does smell like warm sandalwood though

What do bottles and labels look like?

    Haunted

A weird thing happened to me when I put this one. I actually got warm. I don't mean that the oil was buring or anything, but my whole body got warm. At first it smelled a little lemony, not sure why and I was worried that I was having the dreaded "lemon pledge" reaction. It did retain the lemon smell for about an hour or so, but then it not only softened, but sweetend. The boy went from, "oh, that's nice" to "wow, that is really great". It has a slightly powdery smell, but nothing like baby powder. Something much higher end than that. And what I like about it is that this one has much more throw than anything else. I can smell it the whole time I am wearing it, without having to sniff my wrists. This one doesn't stay close to me at all. Most likely will be a big bottle purchase for me in the future.

    Astrology Recommendations

Hmmm... no wonder I have such a thing for amber and cinnamon. I am pretty light on water signs, so that may explain the general apathey about florals. strange. But very true. I think I believe the moon sign thing myself...

    Zombi

I guess my guys and I's reactions to this scent show how much astrology come into play sometimes. Didn't know it before, but even though I am a virgo, I have a ton of fire in my chart. May be why I am drawn to those heavier spicy scents. Steve has a lot of earth in his chart. He loves this on me. I tolorate it because he loves it. I have the same problem with most rose scents. They turn into rose and not much else. The rose in this is, as others have said, much drier. I do get some earth with this too, which is unusual, because of the rose and all. In the bottle it is exactally what the description states. Earth and roses. Wet, it has a strange earthy tang with dry roses over the top. I start to like this one when it dries down. It gets a little more toned down, the earth scents relax a little and the rose comes out more. I will probably buy a big bottle of this because he likes it so much, and I have a feeling that it will grow on me over time.

    New shopping cart. Opinions?

Oh, and I forgot. You set it up a lot like CCnow, in that you have a standard button that you plug a code for the product into the code of the link.

the only one I have used Beth, is Miva Merchant. It comes with the web host I use. I can say that I can't code, script or any of that, and I found miva merchant to be pretty easy to use. And it seems pretty stable. The sewing machine site that I run uses it and they have about 20 to 30 orders a day.

    Carnal

Well, my chemistry strikes again. In the bottle, I get orange, the second I put it on I smell like a strawberry shortcake doll. It turns really plasticy and chemicaly on me. After a half an hour or so, the plastic tones down a little, but it is still there. I don't know if it is the fig or the orange that is doing this to me, as I don't think I have anything else with either in it. I will, however, be turning this into a room spray, as it really does smell great in the bottle.

Too stupid to figure out Acrobat.

I love open office. I can't believe it is free.

    Gluttony

As soon as I opened the bottle I said, "Good God!" and made my man smell it. Sweet. The sweetest thing I have ever smelled. For the first hour, Gluttony smells just like buttercream icing on me. Gobs and gobs of it. I think I ate for the first hour that I was wearing this... which will be bad in the long run, I guess. It was pretty strong too... I think I will need to put less on in the future. After about two hours, it does dry down to a sweet coffee, espresso smell on me. Which I don't mind at all. Sort of reminds me of a really long dinner at a really nice resturant where you have the whole dinner and then dessert and then, at the very end, because you really don't want to leave yet, you order coffee. Really nice scent and couldn't have pegged Gluttony better

    Jezebel

Jezabel, on me, is like "O" squared. They are almost the same on me. For some reason it is almost all honey, no rose or orange at all, even after several hours. It stays sweet, not quite as sweet as "O", and with a little more spice and a little less warm (probably the lack of amber). I love honey scents, so I believe that I will have to get a big bottle of this one.

BPAL Patchouli - there's nothing else like it

I second greed. I don't like patchouli and I am ordering a big bottle of this. Greed is beautiful on me. As gross as it sounds, it makes me want to eat my wrists =)

Choosing a BPAL for your dog

That sounds pretty good. I would never put it right on him cause I know that he may be sensitive to it... I was thinking just a little on his brush to help what little dog odor he has and to keep Steve from dousing him with that apricot junk. Man, I hate how that smells. Artificial fruit smells

    Greed

It is funny, I got this one free (thanks, Beth!) and I never ever would have ordered it for myself. I really don't care for patchouli too much. But on me, it starts out sort of strong and patchoulish, but on the dry down it mellows to this really nice soft, spicy scent that lasts FOREVER (like two days). I don't know if I would buy a full bottle of it, but I wouldn't part with the imp for anything. And sorry I am not better at describing notes. Patchoulish isn't even a word

    Dragon's Milk

My man and I are at odds, because I like to wear more heavy oriental type perfumes and he thinks I should wear something sweeter. After trying almost every mass market perfume in the world, I stumbled across BPAL and now I finally think that I will be able to make both of us happy. One of the imp's that I ordered was this one, which fits the bill well. This has a sweet honey-cherry smell to it, without making me feel like a dipped ice cream cone. It has depth and soul to it. And like all of the other BPAL scents I have tried and unlike almost anything you can buy at the store, this scent doesn't sit on top of your skin, it seems to radiate out of you. It would make people say "you smell nice" as opposed to "that is nice perfume".
