  1. Opium Poppy

In the bottle: strong, sharp scent.

On me: at first it reminds me of glue. Then the floral emerges. Not the kind of floral perfume I have smelled before, but a husky floral. Totally unique. Bright and heady.

Now it's spreading, becoming sensual and hypnotic. I imagine Dorothy in the field of poppies when I smell this.

  2. Snake Charmer

In the bottle: musk and spices.

On me: At first, the same scent as in the bottle. Then I begin to get a medicinal, aromatic effect. But then I realize that

this is more of a resinous outdoors kind of scent.

The first couple of hours it swirls in a sinuous dance of fresh woodsy green and spicy musk. Put a bit on my nape and tonite I am the snake charmer!

However, after three hours the effect has faded. I think I will let this one age and try it again later.

  3. (I wanted this for the peach scent.)

    In the bottle: sweet

    On me: patchouli

(oh no, I'm not sure I like patchouli, it reminds me of an eccentric aunt, whom I love, but don't want to smell like!)

Maybe I can layer this. Darn, I wanted to love an imp of Imp!

EDIT: Merged with existing review thread. --Shollin

  4. Ok, my first review. I can do this because I am able to recognize the individual scents in this one.

    Who indeed?

When I opened the bottle, I was reminded of one of my favorites, Hellcat. That was probably the vanilla cream and and rum.

A couple dots on my wrist and it was lighter and spiceier. Saffron immediately became dominant. What a delicious scent!

After wearing it for a couple hours the sandalwood has emerged and blended with the saffron, with the sweeter scents underneath to tantalize the senses.

I believe that Underpants will be another precious. Sexy spiceiness, sweet goodness and light enough to wear in the Spring/Summer.

    Thanks BPAL, Love ya!!!

  5. Just want to add a neat trick that I learned from someone. Use something called plumbers tape (found easily) to seal the imps or bottles. It clings like plastic wrap, but it comes on a roll like tape. I use this now every time I ship, so cool!! I never thought about using film canisters to travel, good idea!
