In imp - spicy tea with a bit of bergamott. wet - seaweed? It smells a bit like Lush's blue soap with the seaweed and salt. But nicer. There's something really odd going on here. drydown - really spicy tea and smoke. It's like a cross between smoked Earl Gray and chai. Except it's not as sharp as either of those. This is lovely. Later - Okay. Something really strange happened with this. After the tea and smoke had wafted about me for about three hours, suddenly all I could smell was honey. A clear, golden, runny honey. Which was really strange, but definitely not a bad thing. i must have the strangest skin-chemistry ever.

    Thirteen (13)

in the imp - Cocoa powder. Hint of vanilla? wet - It's even drier cocoa now. This is cool. drydown - foody. Chocolate brownies, but not sweet. There might be coffee in here. Something smells roasted. Later - still foody, but rather faint. I really like Thirteen. Still later - It's been almost sixteen hours since I applied, and I still smell cocoa. I've been really hungry all day, too. Not for sweets, oddly enough. The people around me have made sniffing faces all day, so it has throw. I really need a big bottle of this, come the next Friday the 13th.

in the bottle - warm. Golden. Ciderish. wet - I can really smell the apple, but it's grounded by something nearly earthy. Ooh, and there's the amber. This is gorgeous. dry - apple-y amber. The apple shimmers through once in a while. Ten hours after application - I'm in love. It's very sexy, but still clean, and I've been sniffing my wrist all day. The apple faded after a couple of hours, but the amber has amazing staying power on my skin. I've been walking around in gold all day, and it's just perfect. I need a big bottle of this.

in bottle - feminine. A little dusty. Very floral wet - this reminds me of a perfume my grandmother used to wear. Very feminine. Pretty heavy for a floral. dry - very pretty floral. Too traditional for me, I think. Smells like my grandmother's closet, which isn't a bad thing. Something reminds me of mothballs. Makes my sinuses itch. Later - the mothball went away, and it's a beautiful, subdued floral, grounded by the woods. Will I wear it? I don't know. It's lovely about an hour after application, but until then I'm not fond of it. At all.

In the bottle - MINT! That's all I can smell, really. wet - still minty, but less loud and tempered by something else. Anise? It's herbally. I can't smell licorice at all, and I'm beginning to itch. drydown - The mint's gone, and it's left lemon-scented cleaning agent on my arm. Also: itchy! get it off, get it off! Not for me, obviously, which is sad. I wanted it to work.
