This one is so hard to pin point. Soft. I do sense tissues and leather. It has a clean powder finish too that is very comforting.
nice

This does smell like orange clove tea. Good review to the above.
Soft too. Very nice.

NOISOME CLOCKWORK TIN LOCOMOTIVE
A clamorous collision of scents: wormwood, rum, star anise, vanilla, cognac, peppermint, and green tea with smoke fluid and lubricant.
At first, you can tell there is mint in this one. But with all mint scents, you have to wait for the top notes to pass before you can get the true personality of the scent.
Now that it is dry I can detect the green tea, wormwood and rum....just a hint of vanilla. Not a lot of smoke.
Very wearable. I could see wearing this to work without it bothering anyone.
OMG, I want to hoard multiple bottles of this and wear it all winter. I just love it. My fave of the 4 that I got.But I must add that I LOVE anything anise/wormwood. If you do too, you need to get your paws on this one!! -
MONSIEUR PETITBLED'S FRIVOLOUS WHEELED FOOTWEAR
Really, really reckless: red currant, fig, leather, and patchouli with clove bud, orange flower, and pink pepper.
I am first....pressure.
Out of all the scents, this was the one I wanted the most.
It sounds like a sexy scent. I was only worried that the clove would be too strong.
When first applied I got a blast of red currant and that hint of clove. This clove is not too strong at all!
I have had it one for 40 minutes now and I get more of the labs patchouli note and some leather....still very "red" in personality. I do not detect any orange flower.
Overall, RED, warm, Sexy: Keeper! -
This is exactly like I thought it would be. You can totally detect each note. (Warm, snuggly honey musk with sweet vanilla and a hint of rose and sugar plums)
If you are worried about too much rose, do not fear. It's very soft and pretty.
Has a very Victorian feel to it.
I predict this will be very popular.

I just applied this to my arm about 30 minutes ago, so this is the "fresh" state.
At first I get a blast of milk chocolate with berries. I do not get a the tea note that I pictured in my head. That note is much softer. Must be a mellow tea.
After the first blast of berry/chocolate it turns into a creamy cozy light musk.
I love this scent. It's very comforting.

I am happy I got to try this one. It starts off as a very feminine gardenia with a bright juicy peach.
As it dries there is less flower and more peach or maybe tangerine.
Very yummy.

I am amazed how these scents really capture the descriptions.
This one is no exception. Fresh cut grass. Summery and pretty nice.
-
Agreed with the two before me. Smells like fabric and leaves. it's spot on. i also get a hint of something nutty when wet, but that fades away.
Unique.
-
To me this is a floral with a soapy quality to it.
Not super unique and not too far off from a Glade scent. I wanted to like this one a lot more that what I actually do.
-
Smells like a fresh cut Pine/Christmas tree with a hint of metallic.
This would be good in an oil burner during the holidays.
-
Got my bottle today. I must admit, I was not even going to buy this one because I was unsure of the notes. But I got all excited and got it anyway.
I am so happy I did. It's a very wearable scent. to me it smells like herbs and cinnamon and fire (without the smoke). Well blended and interesting. It does not really remind me of anything else.

This is the Monster Bait: Tokyo Stomp meets Monster Bait: Ventriloquist Dummy scent.Sniffing the imp, it's minty chocolate yummyness.
Wet on the skin, Girl Scout Thin Mints with a dash of wood.
As it dries, cedar note gets a little stronger. Once fully dry the cedar note is balanced with the chocolate peppermint which keeps this scent from going too foody.
I love the scent, but I have a LOT of chocolate scents, so I may be just hanging onto the imp and not pursuing a full bottle.
Your description was SPOT on!

I will keep this simple (plus I am terrible at writing reviews)
Ripe Juicy Melon. Very faint mint. I don't get much else, but it's a great melon scent and I do not recall if there is anything similar in the BPAL catalog like it.

This scent is GREAT! It's a light sugar carnation type scent. It reminds me a little of Pink Moon from 05 (is that right) want a bottle now for sure. My imp will be used up this week!
-
Smells like a really strong spiked punch. Very dark purple fruits.
This will be a great fall/winter scent for me.
-
I was expecting baby powder and I what i got was a total treat.
It's more like the Burt's Bees version of baby products. Light, fresh, and clean.
This would make an excellent everyday scent. I totally want another bottle.
-
I am so happy this came today. I was lucky enough to test the original version and this one is very different to me.
05 (that is the year right?) was 100% Strawberry Shortcake plastic doll head. It was good because it brought me that nostalgia.
Now 2009 is a fresh still on the vine strawberry. More green and natural.
Out of the 2 I think I like the original a little better because I am all about artificial sweet in my preference. But this is a great moon indeed.

Interesting mix. I do get a margarita vibe and jasmine, lemon and herbs. If I had to compare it to a traditional perfume it is a lot like Coney Island from Bond #9 but with Jasmine.
want to see how it ages. But my first impression is good.
I also LOVE the bottle art. Super cute!!
-
I have each of the velvets on my arms now. This one is in my top 4. It's really nice.
I get more of a red licorice vibe than black. A little peanut and little salt and sugar. YUMMMMM
To me it does not really smell like Midway. The notes are more individual.
The only thing I do not like is the clown himself (fear since childhood) but I am going to fight it and still get a bottle or two!!

This one is CTV: O CXXXII . Also a second hand forum purchase. Described as "Bright! Lime and O. Slight tropical vibe"
Pretty accurate. I would add that I get a creamy cream soda lime vibe too. another winner!!!
-
mine is CTV: Snake Oil XV . I got this one second hand and it was described as "Strong notes of Cherry and Whiskey, followed by smooth SO spice"
I wanted it because of the Cherry note and got it. I was scared on the Whiskey note being too strong. Much to my surprise its pretty much just SO with a warm red cherry vibe to it. I could not ask for a better CT at all!!

This one did not smell like I thought it would. On the skin it smells very earthy, almost like garden dirt....let's call this one a mango tree is planted in my garden wearing sexy musk! ha!
-
To me it smells just as I pictured in my head. A very chalky, ashy warm scent....then comes a hint of mint. I really like it, but can't tall you which note it is that makes me love it so.
Worth trying for sure.

I liked this one. I feel it's a sandalwood type scent with something sweet in he background, but not super sugar sweet.
