  1. this is a pale and ethereal scent on my skin....a fluffly marshmallow type of rose with just enough sweetness from the honey and vanilla. If you're a fan of Love from the 2013 Lilith Drawings collection, then Lallie may be up your alley as it smells more refined and polished.

  2. a varierty of teas, greenery, some leather....smells interesting and unexpected and well blended...i like where this is going...it sweetens up a bit, possibly from the mint leaf...this is such an atmospheric scent...the greenery is almost 3d and in you can almost feel it in your face...the leather note is lurking queitly in the background....i'm warming up to this blend...will do a retest again in the coming days.

  3. The pomegranate here is so subtle on the verge of M.I.A.  The patch-moss-fir needle trio don't smell at all like one would expect it would. There's a gentle forest-like sweetness rounded by the distant echo of the fir needle. It's like sweet forest air without the sharp piercing fir needle. I guess the pom adds to the soothing sweetness effect.

  4. I can distinguish the cider part, but not the apple from the pom. The two notes are well blended either way. The pink peppercorn gives off a gentle zing. The fermentation facet looses its strength over time and you are left with an airy apple pom.

  5. Carnation, milk, honey and shimmers of bergamot. Very beautifully balanced. Later on the carnation and milk shine the most. I've come to the realization that the best BPAL blends are in the General Catalog ❤️

  6. This is a rare instance when red musk behaves on my skin. The red musk is drenched in tobacco, labdanum and nutmeg and I'm happy that the red musk usual incensey quality is muted here. Later on the tobacco and labdanum assert themselves and shut the dancefloor down. So good, spicy resiny tobacco gourgeousness ❤️

  7. Right off the bat the wild plum comes out shining. It's neither sweet or sour. Then the green tea joins the party, giving off a fresh bright vibe, like green tea always does. Later on the jasmine shows up and i know it because i smell threads of something lightly smoky wafting through the air. The blend manages to stay fresh with accents of plum and a bit of gravitas from the jasmine. It's a fruity floral with the green tea keeping the other two notes in check.

  8. I feared this trio would end up acrid because of the coffee bean and smoky because of the vetiver, but it wasn't the case at all.

The cacao note doesn't go powdery at all, it enhances the remaining two notes and gives off a bit of sweetness. The coffee bean comes out more and more and gets a bit smoky. As time goes by, it echoes to me of a drier version of Jiaolong only a whole lot less sugar syrupy and much less dense.

Go get yourselves a bottle of this trio while it's still up. It could've easily been part of the Koffeeklatsch Yule blends or Lupercalia Cocoa blends.

  9. Aged Shango is the best because is settles down and doesn't smell as overwhelming as when it's fresh.

The drydown on my skin brings out the red apples, very realistic and pleasant. I'm happy with the outcome considering the plethora of notes.

  10. Right off the bat, i smell the mandarin and pom wrapped in this detergent-like cleanliness. Little by little the dry fruits emerge, enhancing the tang of the pom and the whole blend moves a bit into the powdery territory. It's a clean frankinsence/ champa base with mandarin and tangy pom and dried fruits anchored in there. I wanted this to be a bit sweeter and headier because there's brandy and jasmine, but alas  🤷‍♂️

  11. I don't get any dead leaves here, maybe a whisper of a ghostly vanilla. What i also get is a note akin to white cotton or white suede, a bit smelling like iris and white musk.

As time goes by, there's a bit of a plastic vibe emerging, but it doesn't overwhelm the scent. Clean white sheer cotton/ cloth - that's the visual i'm getting.
