Freshly applied it's smells of uber-sweet dark cherries dipped in chocolate. As it dries, the wine comes out and it transforms the entire scent into a chocolate-infused dark cherry liqueur. The opening is achingly sweet, but the drydown is worth the wait and very much drinkable, had it been a beverage.

Black Annis. It scared the bejesus out of me
-
I get high-pitched chocolate accompanied by honey. The end result is just too sweet for my taste. I can feel my teetch ache
-
I had high expectations. I thought i'd get a citrusy pumpkin smell, but in reality the parsley comes out strong and trumps all over the citric notes. i'm on the fence.

2009
I get no nail polish/ acetone smell. It's light and enjoyable, but disappears way too fast. It's in vein of Punkie Night, only a tad less sharp.

Boo
in Halloweenie
2012
So Boo reminds me mainly of condensed milk cream. It smells delicious, but strangely enough way too foody for me; could be because i'm not into really a big condensed milk fan.

Hummm..i'm confused i can not quite describe what i'm smelling, but the image i'm getting is mainly a make-up bag filled with traces of dusting powder and lipstick. It's very feminine and powdery.

LAVENDER got me like WHOA?
Right from the start it's a beautiful and full smell of lavender, followed by a sweet resinous vibe. YUM!!!
-
I'm disappointed. I was expecting something spicy and sweet and warm, but on my skin it disappears in 10 minutes and no sign of the dry-down.

2009: I get mashed apples joined by sweet milky notes. It's ok, but ends up Smelling too bubble-gummy and girlie for my taste
-
2012: This is LOVE!!!! Imagine Dorian without lemon and the lavander fougere and added pear instead!!! This singing on my skin! <3
-
2012: So beautiful and evocative. The jasmine is not shrieking and is tamed by the other components. A very well done jasmine scent (floral) where it's behaving nicely.
-
It reminds me very much of Samhain and its medicinal vibe. I think it's more of a extension of the dark vibe revolving around Samhain: patch, mullein, fir, leaves and added vetiver.
-
Sugar Skull 2012: It's very sweet and i get burnt-sugar/ creme brulee vibe about it and something creamy on top of it.
-
2012 decant: This is such a gentle and beautiful scent. I get mainly bamboo rinds and that's it. I can see myself wearing it in late August till end of September.

Mine are currently:
Dorian
Oberon
Kumiho
Pumpkin V 2007
Sed Non Satiata
Outsiders: Haunted and Chimera
Haha all of those scents have sex or desire right in the description. Dorian and Kumiho both have delicate tea notes, and several of those have lighter musk notes. Have you tried Smut or Lust? If so how did those work on you?
I've tried Smut and all i get is patchouli stinkfest, sorry
I've tried Lust, but i couldn't discern much, but i loved Lust Bonbon instead

Rake, scoundrel, demon in a frock coat. Devilishly seductive, ultimately tragic; a villain undone and redeemed by love. Based on an 18th century gentlemen’s cologne: ambergris, white musk, white sandalwood, Spanish Moss, orange blossom, three mints, jasmine, rose geranium and a spike of rosemary.
THIS is the first BPAL scent that captures the true cologne essence, but i can't bear it due to its old-fashioned vibe. It's got this sharp sour accord and it irks the bejesus out of me

The blackest ritual incense is the only this left on my skin and is truly scary. It's dense and smothering. I'm very impressed with the final result, yet i'm afraid to put it on my skin again
-
Aquatic and a bit sharp. Reminds me of a softer version of Wilde or Vicomte de Valmont.
-
Heady blooming jasmine with a hint of greenery. I wish it was a tad sweeter. Ultimately, i don't i will be able to pull this one off
-
My skin amps the rose and all i get is smoky red rose. Bummer.
-
Wilde sums up basically everything i hate about mainstream perfumery. It develops the "generic" accord you can find in so many designer fragrances that imitates ozone. For that reason, i will not wear Wilde at all, because of the association it triggers.

smells like spilled cologne over a biker's jacket reeking of tobacco smoke and booze
Bon Vivant

If you like Shattered, you will probably enjoy this. Just remove the violet from Shattered and replace with strawberry and you have Bon Vivant, although the latter is less agressive on the mint/eucalyptus combo
