  1. 2025 release: it's not what i expected I'd get judging from the notes.

I get a strong fizzy labdanum with touches of tangy dried cherries and blackberries. The dry down doesn't sweeten up as time goes by. I wish  some sweetness would show up....but no.

  2. 2025 release

The oil in the bottle looks murky. On the skin I'm greeted by the leather and snake oil spices. Little by little it's starting to resemble my 2019 decant of Snake Skin. The leather looses its chemical aspect and is weaving seamlessly with the snake oil components. After 3 hours of wear my wrist smells like a delicious butter toffee cookie.

  3. Initial stage, I smell the red musk and the tart wild plum. Little by little I get a tea note, not sure if it's matcha or green tea. It's getting a bit more smoky and oily texture wise. As it develops, the wild plum retains it's presence and is backed by the red musk and shadow of whatever green tea/ matcha is left

  4. It's a beautifully blended perfume, but it's light for my taste. I have a hard time pinpointing individual notes. There's a faint whiff of green tea, there's lotus root, and very subtle violets. I get the impression that there's a spray of wildflower honey somewhere, but it may be the overall effect of the seamless blending. I feel that the lotus root is dominating the blend, but it's not overpowering or shrieking, more like tying up all the other notes together.

  5. In Black Rider's chocolate reiteration, there's an indolic aspect that is amped up...is it musk?

It's getting on my nerves, to be honest. If the chocolate contributes that, I don't want any part of it.

Luminous amber, white tea, sweet heliotrope, golden lotus petals,
toasted almond blossom cream, and a smear of ink.

The whole effect I get from this scent is luminous, glossy and polished. It's an amber white tea blend camouflaged in layers and layers of other notes, like lotus, heliotrope and ink. It feels shiny and glowing from within, and the ink is always lurking somewhere in the background.

Later on, the ink highjacks the party and becomes like an industrial thin smokestack, but after some time it recedes letting the amber white tea peek through.

  7. 2023 release

I get the spongy dense ale cake with the emphasis on the ale. The lavender dries out the syrupy sweetness and lends a dry air to the entire desert.

  8. I have generously slathered Tiefling on a warm sunny April day and i was getting the entire time echoes of spice-infused soap suds. The spice registered to me as red and black peppercorns. If you're after spicy soap scents, Tiefling is your answer.

  9. Opens up with a syrupy texture, then goes into herbal cooling lavender. Afterwards, a melon note pops up, while the lavender almost fades away. The melon note is unexpected and kind of random. Out of all notes i expected pear, but not melon. Further it develops as a cool melon air or breeze.

  10. Can't believe i didn't review this one.

It has to be my favorite Weenie release of 2024.

The regular Embalming Fluid has been infused with a sparkle of white pumpkin rind and a dash of subdued pumpkin sweetness. Very good match ♥️

  11. Freshly applied, I'm picking something fishy or amphibian, maybe it's the mineral musk or ambergris, but i know for certain that it reminds me of how fish eggs smell. The fishy smell persists well into the drydown. It's more of an aquatic mineral scent to my nose. I struggle wearing it.

  12. I really truly enjoyed this scent. I get no pumpkin spice or fried dough here. To me it resonates more with traditional Easter pastry, namely Pasqua, the kind baked in Christian Orthodox countries. It's that good. Debating whether i need a bottle.
