    The Jersey Devil

I'm shocked! This reminds me so much of the 2016 Yule Road to Versailles at Louvenciens. It's the same cream soda effervescent vibe. I'm truly smitten.

    Aureus

Aureus really reminds me a lot of the now discontinued Sri Lanka. Sandalwood, frankincense and maybe a hint of musk. Very well suited for meditation sessions.

    A Sorceress

I admit there's an underlying funk here, but the trick here is that you have to take this scent for a walk outside and that is where it blooms. The lotus amber vanilla/tonka trio comes alive and brings the slinky serpent scale accord to the forefront. I'm intrigued. I feel like this would have fit in the Crimson Peak line.

    Witches at Their Incantations

A beautiful melange of resins. The olibanum is the one standing out the most, but oppoponax joins the party fast. So far it smells so good in a sweet resin fragrant way. After some time the myrrh comes in and it gives me Streets of Detroit vibes. A very bewitching scent, but i doubt this is how witchcraft incantations of yore would smell like. Update: the champaca pops up in the end and morphs everything in some sort of a clean soap-like concoction. Champaca can sometimes smell like white musk/ soap bubbles on my skin.

Lemon Peel, Jasmine Tea, and Honeycomb

This was an unexpected winner for me. When freshly tested, the jasmine tea overwhelmed everything. I kept getting a smoky quality which jasmine can give off. I let the bottle rest for a week and tested it again. The 2nd time around the blend completely did a 180. The lemon peel and honeycomb showed up to the Jasmine Tea party. The Jasmine Tea was still the star of the trio, but less in your face and had a beautiful spark around it courtesy of the lemon peel and a tad of sweetness.

Hazelnut, Red Amber, and Toasted Sandalwood

The label on the bottle reads Amber, not Red Amber. This is a toasted nutty blend, warm and comforting. Would fit very well in the seasonal Halloween collection. The toasted element is so soothing and enveloping.

    Divinities Implacable, Doom-Laden

Labdanum mingled with myrrh and rounded out by black musk. The rose is only a whisper on my skin. Later on the labdanum asserts itself and I feel that this blend is related to some extent to Streets of Detroit, only less dense. Labdanum, black musk and a gently glowing dark red rose in the background.

    Horses

A truly beautiful blend. The amber and honey go so well together and i also sense a light undercurrent of beeswax. This is a bright and uplifting type of honey, not dense or sticky. I don't get the "glowing" accord/ note, as to me the glow translates more into the tone/mood of the perfume rather than it being an individual single note.

Frozen Pulse and Heart of Fire

This is blend best suited for fall and Halloween. I get a roasted bonfire cedar melange in my skin. I recognize the aptly disguised vetiver and the wool accord. However, there's is no hint of sweetness or cream in there. This scent reminds me vaguely of Dusk in Autumn, namely the caramelized aspect and the bonfire smoke wafting in the distance. Gentle, smoky, woody and a tiny tiny tiny bit acrid.

    Beeswax, Amber & Star Jasmine

This stars here are the beeswax and amber. This duo creates a very interesting result...it smells like beeswax with a very dense texture. The jasmine here behaves and dances gently around the other two notes. Imagine a warmly heated beeswax, not yet melting, infused with light jasmine and amber sweetness.

    The Mystic Moon

The Mystic Moon is not what i was expecting. There's no white musk listed in the notes, but i can smell it...it renders this vague clean soapy powdery feeling. The jasmine is not shrieking and behaves well. I get a sense of a vaporous light cloud of jasmine floating atop of the amber clean white musk base.

Like Ghosts the Shadows Rise and Fall

This goes in the Luna Azul territory, but without caramelization and warm resins. It's a more simplified and straightforward jasmine supported by patch and amber incense and holding its ground.

Soft May the Worms About Her Creep

The oud is bit strong and offensive in the beginning, but it goes away and after 40min I'm left with a pale strawberry skin scent and a vague hint of plastic.

    White Fig, Coconut, and Cream

I get a pleasant burst of cream and something else deliciously toasted or caramelized. I can sense the fig flesh slowly asserting itself and the coconut making things more caramelized and warmer in the background. In the end i get a warm toasted coconut and light sprinkle of fig.

    Tuberose, Melon, and Mandarin

This is menage is all about the mandarin. Upon arrival, the mandarin shrieks wanting to make its presence known. Reminds me somewhat of Carnal. Later on the melon hesitantly peeks out from the heavy mandarin layers. The emphasis here is still on the mandarin and the melon (no sign of the tuberose) is giving it a modest round twang. I still feel there's too much mandarin here and not enough of the other two notes. Later on the mandarin goes powdery and bit sour and is further backed by a faint melon note.

    Sunyashniki

This starts off sparkly and aldehydic. As it evolves, i get the citrus notes soaking in the resiny woody base. The blend feels light and shimmering. Imho, it's related to Evil from the RPG line, but it's more airy, transparent and cheerful. I get a almost sheer light yellow chromatic vibe from wearing this oil.

    Sugar Cookie Satyr

When i got this fresh, i was very much weirded out, as it didn't smell remotely like regular Satyr or Sugar Cookie. I let it rest for 6 weeks and tested it again. It completely transformed into a beautifully musky resiny beauty with a sweet edge, crushed sugar cookie crumbles, to be exact. I'm so happy this blend has settled in and showed its true beauty ❤️

    The Carousel

On my skin, this blooms into a fruity citrus musk. Weird, right? It reminds me of Tweedledee from the Mad Tea Party collection. Yep, citrus fruit musk.

    Drider Crossing Guard

A very well blended scent. I can't pinpoint a certain note, but i get a vague note of tea and something else grounding it. I'm tempted to say it's the dry fig, but not fully sure. The plum note slowly blooms... it's really delicate and gentle and doesn't throw off the balance of notes. This will be a great calming and grounding scent.

We Cared About Such Different Things

Starts off musky, obviously, but still the musk variety is hard to pin down. Over time, the white musk wins and becomes more and more sharp and aggressive, like in Othello.

    Shadow

Shadow echoes, to my nose, The Lion (GC Collection). It starts out so nice and the bay rum adds an interesting layer, but 30 minutes later the scent disappears entirely from my skin.

    The Silver Dollar

I was always contemplating purchasing a bottle, but wasn't quite sure if it would get along with my skin chemistry. I'm happy to report that it's not a sharp or tart white tea...i suspect the musk and iris keep it in check. The musk and iris take over the tea note and turn the scent into a clean off-white concoction. I'd associate this scent with medical assistants and white hospital rooms. Very serene and calming and suggestive of safe and sanatized hospital spaces.

    Wild Nights – Wild Nights!

This blend is from the family of dense chewy musky patch scents, like Crowley or Satyr. It takes some time for it to develop and it's a strong morpher. Once it dries, i get echoes of dusty red musk mingled with dry balck musk and some patch and it works very well. As time goes by, the scent gets drier - a musky spicy patch. Very elegant and will work best in the cooler months of autumn. I'm tempted to get a bottle, but i fear i won't use it up entirely, so the decant will suffice.
  24. Been wearing this for 2 days in a row and it clicked for me that it smells a lot like Lambs Wool. If you're low on these dumplings, seek Lambs Wool as an alternative.

    Insatiable Woman

The opening is not for the faint hearted. It takes around 30 min for the funkiness to calm down. In the end i get muted magnolias over a woody musky base with some distant funk echoes in the background. Proceed with caution!
