    Bordello

Very sweet and fruity at first, reminds me of bubblegum. After drydown it deepens; the amaretto peeks out every now and then, and the wine comes to the surface to blend well with the plum. It remains very sweet, though, a bit more sweet than I usually prefer. I like Bordello better on my skin than in the imp, and I will wear it, but I don't think I'll get a big bottle of it.

    O

It's so pretty! O is a very rich, golden scent on me that turns vaguely spicy after drydown. I never pick out the vanilla or the honey specifically, but this is very sweet. For a while the scent threatens to turn powdery but never does, for which I am very grateful. It has average throw and lasts for several hours, and I love how this puts me in such a good mood.

    Bathsheba

The Seventh Daughter, Daughter of the Oath. She was King David’s lover, and the mother of King Solomon. Her scent is breathtakingly lovely, exotic and powerfully sensual in its innocence: carnation, sensual plum, and Arabian musk. Ooh, I so much love this one. It's a gorgeous, exotic, spicy, musky, sweetness on me. I can't really pick any one note out over another because they all blend so well. Bathsheba has average throw and doesn't last more than a couple hours, but I love it.

    Seraglio

I mainly get rose from this. Sandalwood makes an appearance during drydown, and I love rose and sandalwood together, so that made me happy. After drydown, I get a tiny hint of the orange peel, but nothing else ever shows up. Honestly I'm very glad the almond doesn't come out because that's one note that tends to overpower everything else on my skin. Anyway, as much as I liked the rose/sandalwood blend, once the orange peel peeks out it's all over. Seraglio turns to powder just a few minutes after the orange peel appears.

    Succubus

Succubus makes me sick. I'm sorry, I so very much wanted to love this, but I just can't. It's all heavy florals with something else (the neroli, maybe?) to turn it sour; clove never shows up to spice or sweeten it up. The throw is VERY strong, but I'm not sure how long it lasts because I've never been able to wear it for more than 15 minutes before I have to wash it off.

    Sudha Segara

I'm so grateful I don't get any ginger from this...confused, but grateful. Ginger tends to overpower EVERY other note in a scent once it hits my skin. Instead, although I get a slight whiff of ginger from the imp, it completely disappears once I apply the oil. Sudha Segara is primarily warm milk both from the imp and on my skin. After it dries on me, the honey comes out a bit to make this sweeter and creamier, but the milk remains the top note. I never smell any ginger once this oil hits my skin (YAY). It has almost no throw on me, however, and it doesn't last for more than an hour.

    Empyreal Mist

From the imp, it's very soft, aquatic, and sweet. When I put it on, something a bit more floral peeks out, and the sweetness subsides. The floral note doesn't overpower the rest, and the aquatic note stays in the background. I like this, but I have to be careful because it has very strong throw on me and lasts for quite a while. If I put too much on, it gives me a headache.

    Golden Priapus

Even though this is supposed to be a male scent, I couldn't not try it on. It just smelled too much like a sweet, rich, golden honey from the imp. I don't get any pine out of this. The longer I wear it, the more the vanilla comes out, but there's no rosewood or pine. Honestly it reminds me a LOT of Chimera, but without the cinnamon, so it's very sexy to me. I like Priapus on me enough as it is, and as I told my boy, if he were to wear it...well, "insantiable lust" would probably occur. ETA: I wore it again today, and suddenly the pine and rosewood made an appearance. I mainly just smelled the pine straight out of the imp; it disappeared after the oil dried. The rosewood lingered underneath all the other notes, having just enough presence to make itself known but not standing out. Primarily I still had the wonderful honey golden scent that I just love.

    Bewitched

Mmm, berries! From the imp I smell more sage than blackberry (or any other berries), but as soon as I put it on the berries spring out. This becomes a very sweet scent, but the sage and musk keep it from being TOO sweet. My only fear with this one was the green tea, but I never smelled the tea at all. Strong throw, lasted for about 3-4 hours. I like it!

    Hearth

Very nutty. I get a bit of smoke, a bit of cedar. There's no sweetness in it for me, but honestly I'm surprised I get anything other than the chesnut. All nutty scents I've tried so far have overwhelmed any non-nut notes once on my skin. Anyway, without any sweetness, this just feels too masculine a scent for me. I do think it's very homey, though, and it does smell wonderful. Maybe I'll try it as a room scent.

    Athens

WOW, the wine is strong in this. I get an overly sweet wine with a bitter edge to it both from the imp and at application. After drydown, the bitterness comes out more in the wine. This stage is exceedingly strong and lasts for several hours. When it finally starts to fade, so does the bitterness, and I can finally smell the sweet flowers -- not well enough to identify any, but enough to soften the bittersweet wine and make this stage the best yet. Unfortunately, this stage also has the least amount of throw, and it doesn't last very long. After about half an hour, the scent is completely gone.

    Velvet

I'm so in love with this scent. It's a subtle chocolate with just enough vanilla blended in to make it sweet and smooth. The longer I wear it, the more the sandalwood comes out, but I never get any type of pencil-shavings scent. This is just smooth and pure velvet. I half-expect my wrist to feel like velvet when I sniff it. It's that good. Velvet has average throw, but it lasts for HOURS. I love it.

    Bengal

A sultry and unruly blend that emulates the ambient scent of the markets in ancient Bengal: skin musk with honey, peppers, clove, cinnamon bark and ginger Heh, finally something that overpowers ginger on my skin -- pepper. Bengal is a vaguely sweetened pepper on me that turns to baby powder not long after application. Usually if ginger is a note, it overpowers everything else, but this scent is ruled by pepper and baby powder on me. Not much throw, but the powdery aspect of the scent lasts for several hours.

    March Hare

MMMMM, APRICOT HOW I LOVE YOU! I don't get any clove out of this; it's pretty much pure apricot from imp to skin. Unfortunately, March Hare does what Katharina always did -- it fades very quickly. It has almost no throw, and after half an hour I can't smell it anymore. Apparently my skin loves apricot as much as I do because it sucks it up too quickly for me to fully enjoy it.

    Dragon's Milk

This oil is thick and red, so I liked it before I even put it on. From the imp I mainly smelled a dry, resiny note -- guessing it's the dragon's blood. As soon as I put it on, though, the vanilla comes out of hiding to sweeten it up A LOT. After drydown I started smelling cherries -- not every time, though, only when I least expected to smell cherry. If I sniffed at my wrist trying to pick out the cherry note, it would disappear. Overall, this was very yummy and sweet, but it kept enough of the dry, resiny bit to keep it from being TOO sweet. This didn't have much throw, but it did last for several hours.

    Blood Kiss

Oh, God -- vetivert. That's the main note I get from this scent, from imp to skin to fade. When I put it on, the vanilla comes out a bit, and after drydown I can smell the cherry at times, but there's no clove or anything else. Vetivert drowns out every other note in this scent. I'm going to let the imp sit for a while and try it again in a few weeks, but for now...I don't like this one.

    Queen of Sheba

Yet another scent in which the almonds overpower everything else. In the imp, I can smell the honey from the "honeyed almonds," but no spices, and as soon as Queen of Sheba hits my skin, all the honey goes away. After 3 hours, still the only thing I could smell was almond. Luckily this wasn't a bitter almond, but I was wanting something else. I'm not sure how long this would have lasted because I washed it off after 4 hours. Overall, Queen of Sheba isn't a bad scent, and I'll probably let it age a bit before trying again...but I'm afraid that my skin just amps up almonds too much for this to work on me.

    Snake Oil

*gulp* Wow. From the imp, I wasn't too crazy about this. It seemed too spicy without much vanilla to sweeten it up. Then I tried it on, and immediately the vanilla came out and blended so well with the spices. It didn't change at all throughout the day; this doesn't have a very strong throw, but dear Lord it lasts forever. I put it on before work, and now, 10.5 hours later, I can still smell it just fine. Snake Oil is going on my bottle wishlist.

    The Lion

Thank goodness I don't get tea from this. The Lion was a frimp thrown in my last order, and THANK YOU to the labbies for it. Although I love spices, especially cinnamon, I hadn't considered this one much because I thought I didn't like amber. Silly me. I'm not exactly sure how to describe how this scent morphs on me -- it's almost constantly changing on top, but it keeps the same core scent throughout, a gorgeous, dry, spiced, golden aroma. I know that this is the Lion from Alice in Wonderland, not any celestial lion, but I am a Leo, and this scent suits me perfectly. It doesn't have much throw, so you have to be close to smell it, but it does last for several hours on my skin. I'm going to need a bottle of this.

    Jester

Mmmmm, huckleberry! I love huckleberry jam, and when I first opened the imp of this it immediately brought to mind the jam. Honestly I couldn't pick out any notes other than the sweet, sweet huckleberry for the entire time I wore Jester. It's very strong -- I had to apply just the tiniest bit -- but it didn't last for more than 2 hours.

    Rose Cross

A very dry, pale, wispy rose peeks out from the imp. On my skin, the rose is strengthened a bit, but doesn't really stand out. The frankincense hid in the background and kept trying to pull the rose back with it. Light throw and didn't last very long. I'll try it again at some point, but for now, this isn't a favorite.

    Pink Phoenix

From the bottle it's mainly light strawberries and cream with a hint of sweet pea to give it support. After drying on my skin, the honeycomb and sugared pear come out, and the sweet pea disappears. About half an hour after application it's a beautiful blend of honey, pear, vanilla, and strawberries. Definitely a silly, pink, girly scent. I won't be able to wear this everyday, but I do really like it. It lasts for HOURS on my skin although the throw isn't very good after the first couple of hours.

    Temple of Dreams

From the imp, I first get a very harsh herbal/lemon scent. The lemon is brought out a bit more as I apply it, but after drydown the scent starts to soften. It becomes a bit more floral, a lot less harsh. Within an hour, it's completely faded. I wasn't too crazy about it, but I reapplied before going to bed to see if anything would happen, and nothing did. I didn't notice any difference in my sleep, and I still don't recollect any dreams. Overall, not a favorite.

    Baba Yaga

I got a strong pineapple scent with a layer of something woodsy underneath from the imp. When I put it on, the pineapple toned down a bit, and the woodsy note came out a bit more. I was really starting to like this when it suddenly turned to baby powder and disappeared half an hour after application. Bad skin chemistry!

    Scherezade

When I first put this on, it was almost pure saffron. Not long after application, however, some of the spices started coming out a bit more, and then the musk. For most of the time I wore this, saffron was on top with unidentified spices underneath and musk, while noticeable, at the very bottom. After a few hours I noticed an almost caramel sweetness coming from my wrist, and I'm not really sure how that happened...but it was pretty, so I liked it. About an hour after the caramel appeared, though, Scherezade was gone.
