    Shroud

Imp My first impression is an extremely light version of veil with an extra twinge of cedary wood scent and muted flowers. Wet This is very herbal and gender neutral. The mixture is fantastic and it combines the right amounts of green notes, spicey astringent notes, and woodsy notes. Dry This is going away!! Waaaa! Come back. All I have left is a woodsy whisper. Quite lovely reminant, though.

    Languor

Imp I smell the lilies strongly, yet the notes are altered to be less green and bright...something darker waiting. Wet Plast-icky lily. Strange. This smells like band-aids with a touch of lily and hint of spice. Dry Run of the mill lily, cept it is encased in plastic bandaids.

    Seraphim

Imp The first note was sweet florals and then the lily came right up to shine. This smells very bridal. Wet This smells just like a bridal boquet full of roses and lilies. The notes just keep strengthening...almost to the point of glistening with dew. This is a very pretty blend. Dry Same as wet, except softer.

    Nocturne

Imp Very soft. This smells like a mixture of baby products....the first breath you take in when you hold an infant near you after his mother has covered him with baby stuff. Wet I can smell the violet quite well, but not any other flower. Dry Either my skin goobles this scent right up or it just disappeared. Sigh, it was pretty. I probably will try this one again.

Imp Ew. I am hesitant to put this on it smells like masking BO with flowers. It is very humid. Wet I dunno about this one. I keep sniffing it and disliking it. But I keep sniffing it like you keep checking yourself when you think you stink. Then that tingle on my skin started up...my skin is rejecting this imp and it is starting to set on fire. Time to wash it off. The funny part is that it really was a good humid, summer scent. I am just not a humid person!

    Lorelei

Imp My first impression is a soft, refined scent. It is more an elegant femininity than a "save me" girlness. The ylang ylang is blending with the sandalwood into a deep, rich base and the neroli is adding a twinkle. Wet The mixture on my skin is not as I expected. The ylang ylang is stronger than thought it would be initially. Nothing bad, just suprising! As the sandalwood presses forward, the two blend into a note that has the headyness of a rose note but without the rose scent. This is quite pretty Dry As this scent mellows, the neorlie comes forward and fills my nose with a bright prettiness. It dives back under the sandalwood/ylang ylang to surface again in cycles. Lovely. After a few hours, this still persists, soft and pretty.

    Pain

Imp Wow, I can smell the lavender and the pennyroyal so well! The pennyroyal smells just like it does when I grow it! Wearing Pennyroyal!! Very strong. Since I use this to ward off bugs naturally, I think I might have to pass. However, I am *very* tempted to hold on to this to see if it keeps biting buggies away as I love the smell of pennyroyal!

    Prague

Imp My first impression ins a very dewy green floral. Wet This is a very novel floral scent. It is quite pretty, delicate, and feminine without being run of the mill. I can smell the lilies and the crocus. This smells like a freshly gathered handful of flowers, right while your hands are still wet from picking them in the early morning. Dry This dried down to baby diaper smell (that is unused baby diaper). What happened to the lily? Pout.

    Gomorrah

Imp Fragrant fig is the first note to jump out from the imp! Yea!! Wet/Dry At first, I thought "not Eden" but the current is rising up, sweetening the mix. What a lovely juxaposition of spice and sweet. It is not Eden. But Eden is not Gomorrah. I love the different plays on the fig note. There was a point when the smoky note bloomed and then it tapered off to a hint. I love the whole mix!!

    Succubus

Well, my first review got eaten by the internet monsters...here goes again. This scent started out very strong from the imp and on the skin the clove was overwhelmed by a soapy scent. There was a degree of intrigue mixed in, but I can just tell this scent is not for me. Pity, what a lovely concep (no worries as there are so many more to love)!!

    Libertine

Rosewood and chamomile with bergamot, violet, red sandalwood, primrose and Arabian musk. Imp Sweet, airy, and delicate. A very pretty mix. Wet At first, it is almost too light to detect and then it strengthens like a memory creeps into mind. It it is whisper of greenery with a sweet aftertaste. The notes in this imp are reminiscent of midnight, but more what I expected midnight to smell like. If I were to pick one word for this scent it woudl be ethereal. Dry This got a touch powdery, but on the whole remains a very pretty, delicate scent. I rather do enjoy the blend and I highly recomend it for someone who does not want overwhelming florals but still that girly feeling.

    Intrigue

Imp A woodsy, cedary Eden. Wet This smells like what I would want Eden to smell like on my husband. Either that, or Eden taking a tumble in the woods. It rapidly switched over to only cedar. And then it was gone!!! I will have to retry this again and if it changes/lasts, I will update my post!

    Gluttony

Wow! Bold right out of the imp and right on the skin. I can smell the hazelnut, toffee, and coffee. This smells like it would be the *perfect* candle for our home. I will not wear this, but I have to use it to scent our home. YUM!

    Lucy's Kiss

Imp Rose, pure and straight up. Wet Rose, strong and powerful. A very fragrant rose with a hint of something else. This is very reminscent of Crabtree & Evelyn's Evelyn Rose. It is growing stronger, and sadly, a soapy scent is begining to evolve. This is the type of rose note I really am not crazy about: the kind where you can tell it more rose scent and less the smell you get when you bury your nose deep in an open rose and breath it in. Dry Just rose. Too much rose, for even the rose lover.

    Desire

Imp A very seductive scent from the imp due to the musk...but I can pick out the patchouli lying in wait for me. I hope this works, especially since the imp smells quite good!! Wet Patchouli!!! This is way to early for you. At least there is room for hints of the other notes. The musk is starting to beat the patchouli into submission. Go musk. On the edge of each breath, a sweetness is becoming exposed. This is a very full bodied, sexy scent. It might not be for me, but I can appreciate it very much. This is one patchouli blend I might conceed to liking. Drier Stupid patchouli (well more like stupid skin chemistry that loves to amp patchouli like a beacon) won out. I smell nothing else. For those who do not amplify patchouli like a fiend, I highly recommend this one--it had some very intriquing notes that I would have loved to find more of. Though it did not work for me, I believe this is a fantastic blend.

    Bewitched

I accidentally forgot to hit post before I exited this forum, so I lost my review. In all, I think this is a lovley nocturnal woodland scent with the touch of sweet berries. I do wish it was a bit stronger on me and persisted longer. If I let it go, it will probably be because my body and it do not work together to make it last longer! Still, how pretty! edit: Sometime after I had tried this on, I detected a fairly strong afterscent. I figured perhaps my nose just was overstimulated by other things when I had first tried this one... The secon sampling--WOW!!! I love the scent on me, my husband picked up on this immediately, and the soft hint of still whispering on my wrist this morning (12 hours after I put it on) makes this a complete keeper. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one. I still noticed the nocturnal berry scent and there is a soft, underlying scent that is quite womanly. Very lovely.

    Muse

Imp The first scent I get is soft florals and that is followed up by zingy lime! How fun! Wet Smells yellow green, as in the vial. The florals are soft and airy, but the jasmine is starting to permeate the entire experience. The lime is a fun addition. Then my pal, lotus starts pushing forward. How lovely. Dry This has a very classic heroine flavor to me...strong, but still gentile. It is not my type of scent, perse, but quite lovely.

    Le Serpent Qui Danse

Imp Lovely gardenia. I am not a huge fan of overwhelming gardenia so this hits it just right. Wet Tickling my nose a bit, but still not *bad* gardenia. Still waiting for vanilla. Then it got bitter. Weird. Still tickles my nose. All of the sudeen, the gardenia died. Not as in fade, but as in shriveled up and turned brown on me. I smell like musty dead flower! And my nose stick itches. I do not think I can make it to dry!

    Wrath

Imp Hmm. Hot like the color. The black pepper is firey with an afterbreath of cinnamon. This might be to saucy for me! Wet My nose is still singed from sniffing the imp. I cannot smell anything! After two heavy breaths in the coffee bag (I keep coffee beans with my imps to clear my nose!) I pick up a faint plasticky note. And something firey simmering beneath. After a few minutes I can pick up cinnamon gum (take your pick which brand). There is a soft edge; hubby says he only smells spring flowers. Interesting. Dry I am not sure if I really made it this far....see, I hate cinnamon gum, fireballs, redhots, cinnamon red hearts, etc. (yet I love cinnamon and cloves). So smelling like one is not really for me. I will say, though, that this has to be the prettiest fireball I have smelt to date.

Imp Mmmm, the fig note is so heavenly. This patchouli *might* even work on me as from the imp it is tamed by the fig to an earthy scent. I can pick up the tinest tweak of sweetness and the ylang ylang smells so very lovely. Wet The interplay between the fig and the patchouli is captivating. My skin amps equally my favorite note (fig) and my most detested note (patchouli). This time the patchouli is winning, but the fig blends with it well and makes for a sexy, manly scent. Dry Raw, woodsy, man scent. MMMM. Must try on the man. edit: it DOES smell really great on him!

    Ave Maria Gratia Plena

A pale, delicate, truly angelic blend. A scent created to emulate Adonis' halo of beauty: fragile, distant, and radiant. Rosewood with Sicilian lemon peel, red Mysore sandalwood, pale musks, sweet mountain sage and a dusting of lily, night-blooming jasmine and orris. Imp Vintage. Wet Extremely light and "older." I feel like I was hugging my husband's grandmother. The musk is superfluous in my case...my skin amps it to the point it occludes every note I was excited about experiencing! After a bit of time, the musk eases up and a very dusty, soft, and traditional floral bouquet emerge. It is very pretty, just not me. Dry The florals are kicking the musks butt. I am still not sold on this, but I am intrigued to find out what next. WHOA! I felt kinda weird wearing this, then it started to itch, then burn. Weird!

    Dracul

I thought this smelt great out of the vial and I immediately picked up all the woodsy scents. Hands down, I would have been certain this was the scent for my hubby (too manly for my wearing). On him, "This smells like old lady perfume." A few minutes later, I sniff it and it smells oh so woodsy and manly. He says, "I smell like my grandmother," and proceeds to start violently wiping his wrist on his tee shirt (while I think to myself what good is that doing you). Sigh. I really thought this was great for him.

Bottle Fragile. This is very exciting as I love the scent of grapefruit and white tea and they are both dancing upwards from the imp. Wet Whoa. Delicate tea, fresh grapefruit, the soft blossom, and ginger garnish. What a terrific blend. The only concern I have is that it might not be lasting. Dry On the dry down it is getting a bit, disappointly, soapy. Yeah, bland itch your nose soap. And then, poof, it was gone! Weird.

    Vice

Bottle The chocolate note is strong, but quickly pushed aside by a bold cherry scent. The acidic citric note feathers up at the end of the first inhale, adding bite to the mix. Wet An acrid, biting orange scent overwhelms my nostrils and if I breath very deeply I can catch the slightest hint of cocoa butter. Though fiercely bold, I am intrigued by the citric scent because it is not the common frou frou experience. After a few moments, the orange domination begins to receede allowing a better blending of all the notes; the cherry pushes forward with a forbidden sort of sweetness. Dry Where'd it go!!!! After 26 minutes, I just have a soft floral scented black cherry whisper. It is gorgeous, but I am concerned with how fast my skin ate it up. If it did this after an hour or two, this would be such a keeper. Pout, I really loved this scent. Perhaps that is why it is called vice, I have already reapplied because I need a better fix.

Bottle The strongest scent drifting up from the imp is sparkling, sweet grape juice. The aroma is blended with light, fresh fruity scents and crisp floral notes. It is quite a lovely blend and suprisingly strong. It perfumes my immediate area, yet the scent is still quite delicate. Wet The fruit scent is much stronger, but it is such a lovely type of fruit: wet, juicy, fragrant, dew on the skin/rind. The floral scents keep threading up from the sweet base, weaving into the fruit to develop a more sophisticated experience. I can pick out different notes in the course of one breath in, and the transitions are lovely. Dry To me, this scent is to spring as what The Hesperides are to autumn. It is delicate, fresh, femmine, and season invoking. Gorgeous blend and once again, I am completely enraptured. The scent has quite a nice lasting quality to it, perhaps one of the best features of it. While the mix is light, it boasts the lasting power of some of the longest mixes while never being overwhelming. After a few hours, it softens to a whispher, as a left over memory on an item of clothing or that delicious feeling after a nap in the spring afternoon.
